Colony has both inside and outside seating which looks so cozy. Since I was in a hurry, I had mine to go. When I got home, I was very surprised to see how big their portions are. That explains why I thought the bag was too heavy. I had the Grilled Chicken Steak with Black Pepper Sauce and a side of spaghetti. I ate half of everything and ate the other half the next day so you can actually split it with another person. Everything was so delicious including the lemon tea I had. Was excited to see HK style food on the Westside and wanted to try it out for couple months. Finally went last Saturday, ordered at the kiosk and then got a table at the patio. We had the baked pork chop so food took about 20 / 25 minutes or so to come out. Tasted just like childhood! Milk tea also tasted very familiar. I was happy about these two items. The grilled chicken with black pepper sauce was just so so in comparison. Gave it 3 stars because there were flies flying around the patio. Covered trash cans might reduce this problem a bit. Price is also on the higher side. $6 milk tea was not very worth it. And they charged you some sort of fee (see pic) that I wasn't aware of, did not expect extra fee when ordered at the location and not doordash. read more

Was okay. To-go is always tough for some dishes, especially soups, and even if you "dine-in" at a ghost kitchen, you're still getting everything packaged as it was to-go. Won ton soup had a decent amount of won tons in it and was served piping hot, enjoyable but a bit rough out of plastic containers. Beef and broccoli was utility, a generous portion (although considering the price...). Quality of the rice was decent too. It's decent for what it is but my partner and I thought the dishes were still lacking in flavor. The best thing we got was the iced lemon tea. Wow, just wow! Not sure what more to say... lol. I've always been a lover of orange chicken, but this was hands-down the best I've ever had -- the sauce is absolutely delicious! My friend and I started with the salt and pepper wings (so good), and she ordered the walnut shrimp, which was also bomb! We finished off with the fried buns -- the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We also added on a hot and sour soup and milk tea. The tea and soup were both fine - not amazing but solid. The tomato pork chop had decent fairly light flavor but really poor execution. The white rice was a gluey abomination - do they not have a rice cooker? How is their rice so mushy and gluey. The pork chop is super thin and rubbery, so the texture is among the worst pork chop I've ever had. You get a ton of rice, and the soup had a lot of tofu and bamboo. My high hopes were quickly dashed. By category this is what I found: -- Service- After ordering online, I arrived at my texted pick-up time to find the cashier could not find my order. She asked to see my receipt, which I showed her. As she appeared confused I asked if she had my order. She said she did not know. After she helped another customer I asked if she could find out if the kitchen had my order. She said she could not. She then said she felt sure the order would be out in 3 minutes. I asked how she could be sure when she didn't know if the kitchen had my order. She had no response. It is clear they missed my order. When I got my food it was 15 minutes past the pick-up time I was texted. -- Food- The food was bland and lacking flavor. Part of that is because the bell peppers they advertised as being in the dish were missing. Clearly a case of false advertising. -- Overall- This is a digital storefront (with 15-20 other digital names associated with OrderColony.com (also Colony Cooks)). Colony Cooks has a Yelp rating of 2.6/5, so buyer beware. This feels like a scam to separate uninformed buyers from their money by using a variety of digital fronts to provide poor service and barely mediocre food. read more

The service consists of a ghost kitchen that you would have to order and then pick up, though there are some seats outside the building.
