My wife and I had shopped around for a replacement vehicle once our Explorer started giving us issues. I decided Im not going the same route and will buy a brand known for reliability. Enter Lexus. From the minute you walk in, you're greeted by the friendly woman at the front desk, who linked me up with my sales person, Paul Mompremier. Paul was very knowledgeable on the vehicle, showed me the differences between them, and let me test drive the ones I was interested in. When it came to the pricing and the options we could add, he didnt push a single thing on me and explained what each package was and the pros/cons. He went above and beyond when I forgot my license plate (which ended up not being handed to us by the last dealer) and saved me a TON on a transfer. Hes very personable and was great showing my wife the car (with our toddler going crazy over it) and reviewing the features with her. At the end, we drove away in our new RX series. Everyone from start to finish is SUPER friendly, knowledgeable, easy to work with, greets you with a smile, and makes the entire process smooth. Most respectful dealership by far Whenever I've walked into a dealership, I've always walked out upset and pissed off. But at Jm Lexus, the team and Gary Mueller were genuinely welcoming, warm and respectful. Over the years I've walked into JM Lexus a couple of times just because I love seeing the newest cars. I haven't purchased any cars from them all these years until just recently. However, all this time I never felt unwelcomed at this dealership. What made it even better was getting the opportunity to meet and work with Gary. He is one of the sales managers and he is absolutely amazing! He didn't rush me into getting any car, he was as helpful when I told him I'm not ready and he still gave me a wonderful treatment and showed me all the cars I was interested in. I came back two months later and purchased a brand new car with him. I've been to Mercedes, BMW, and other Lexus dealerships and even made purchases there but this JM LEXUS at margate is the ONLY good dealership. If you want to go to a dealership that has integrity and honors their word, I highly suggest you go elsewhere for your business. Or you are just rolling the dice. I normally only do positive reviews because I support small businesses and believe we focus too much on the negative these days and need to point out where the hard workers are that need to be recognized. But after what we just experienced, let me save you the trouble before you give this place a second of your precious time. Very ironic, my husband said overall their reviews looked good. So we felt confident we were dealing with a reputable business. My husband spoke directly over the phone with two different sales reps over the course of a few days, which I will say were nothing but professional and accommodating. We explained we would be driving over 7 hours away and couldn't make the trip for about an additional 3 days. But we offered to put money down to hold the vehicle either way. We were told that wouldn't be necessary and that they would just need our drivers licenses sent, which we did.; in addition to starting a credit check at our bank for financing. Heard nothing for one day. In the meantime, husband and myself made arrangements with missing work and making the long trip; only to notice the vehicle was no longer listed on the web page. Assumed it was taken down due to our agreement for the purchase, my husband called the next day to see if they received everything they needed. We were informed that both sales reps were both out on the same day and the used department manager, (although knew they had a buyer), took it upon himself to make the general manager happy by hurrying and sending the vehicle to auction because it was on their lot for 90 days. Interestingly, their Facebook page says, "what matters most to us is people." I guess that could be true if they added on the giant missing part about how that only applies after their needs and best interests have been met. For years, I have heard nothing short of "amazing"... we're not talking about Lexus "The Car" or Lexus "The Brand"; we're talking specifically this dealership. The JM Family Enterprises truly is something special... Jim Moran started all distribution to the southeast USA in the 1960s and over the next few decades (up until his death) he was well known for his commitment the community and famous for being one of the best employers nationally. To this day, the company still handles distribution and financing in the southeast and they have this dealership and when I purchased my first Lexus I expected this dealership to be top notch too * * NEW CARS * * (GOOD) I started off looking at (3) different models (ES, GS and IS)... all three impressed and the salesman I worked with was friendly and never made me feel pressured to purchase immediately (something other dealerships do often; wanting to lock the deal before you leave). I narrowed my search down to the ES model but elected to purchase a pre-owned (since I do so many miles and pre-owned come with 100,000 mile warranties). * * USED CARS * * (GOOD) Found what I wanted and took a test drive; happy so far and negotiated a deal with my saleswoman... I asked for a few extras during negotiations such as window tinting, black mats and corrections to a couple of imperfections on the exterior. At the end of the day, everything we agreed to was exactly what I was given. * * DELIVERY * * (BAD) I returned to the dealership a couple days after we finalized all the paperwork to pick up my car with the "extras" completed Like many cars with hi-tech computer systems, the dealership has a person assigned to teach me to use all the features and to set up all the programable items; or at least he was supposed to. I'd be lying if I was pleased. Verbally he said take your time and no rush... but to be honest, I felt rushed and half-taught. I asked questions if my system did this or that and mostly heard "no" to most questions... but when I was home looking through the manual, I was able to do just about everything I asked about. Don't know if he just didn't know or was just rushing to keep my time brief. I even asked if Sirius offered a trial and got the answer of not anymore... but I learned months later that the car did but had to be called in to Sirius; and unfortunately for me, too much time passed to get the free car purchase trial period. * * SERVICE * * (GOOD) I've only had service done once and it was smooth and simple... went in asking what I'm due to have done on the car; left the car with them and had it back in (2) hours (less than the time they said it would take). * * CAR WASH * * (BAD) Part of the service department is also a car wash service... basically, come in with the car and they do a full car wash. For awhile I was coming in after work once a week but the wait time was a joke. I was told which times and weekdays were the quietest and yet that didn't help. In addition to the slow turn-around, they assign your car a number when you bring it in and post it on a paper onto the window with this sticky substance and after the car wash it's still there and I have to walk around looking for someone to clean it off every single visit. * * CUSTOMER AREA * * (BAD) When you visit the dealership the first time, the salespeople always give a tour of the facility and it's impressive; including the Customer Service Lounge (2nd floor over the Service Department)... The area is large with a few televisions with many comfort couches/chairs, has a person behind a free concession stand, has some tables for people to do work at or use a laptop, a small, dark room with massage chairs. They even have WiFi and some iPads for customers to use... but now that I'm using the Lounge on a regular basis I realize how "no so impressive" it really is... the problems: (1) the tables need to be cleaned... under the glass top, it's nasty. No one can say they didn't know or didn't see it because I've complained 9 months ago and 6 months ago and it's never changed. (2) the iPads are locked up with very short cables so it's hard to use them. (3) the massage room is not supposed to allow unsupervised kids but they are always in there... this room is also supposed to be tranquil and quiet and the kids are doing what kids do (making noise); don't mind the kids but the staff should say something to keep them out. (5) recently the massage chairs disappeared (literally and no one knew where or why) (6) the girls that work the concession stand are very unfriendly. The free drinks are a nice touch but not if I am made to feel unwelcome. * * OVERALL * * Sales is a quick experience, so I expect my lounge visits to be positive since it's where most my time is spent with JM Lexus. I should preface this review of the service center with the fact that I bought my car at JM and was really happy with the purchase experience. However I am really disappointed in the service we received on my last visit. My son works in the auto industry and we're still staying in as much as possible due to the coronavirus, so I sent him with my car, which needed a new battery and a routine oil change. Because he works with auto parts daily my son could see from the date on the battery that it was still under manufacturer's warranty and therefore should be replaced for customers at no charge if it failed. We also have a service contract with JM that meant we should get our oil changes at no cost. While service set up was easy and convenient, the problems began almost from the moment he drove up. First they haggled back and forth with him about whether or not my service agreement had expired so he decided to just do the oil change himself. But he'd had to jump the car to get it to the shop and needed them to replace the battery. After looking over the car the service adviser tells him he needs a new battery and quotes him about $200 for the battery and installation. My son balks because: 1) the battery is still under warranty and 2) Autozone or even Walmart will install any battery you buy from them for free. He reminds them of the warranty and requests that they go ahead and replace the battery now at no cost (the dealer will be reimbursed for this from the manufacturer--if they charge us they make double. The service adviser takes a long while before coming back to say my son was right (again this is written right on the battery) and that there won't be a charge for the battery replacement since it's under warranty. Yeah we thought so. Anyway some two hours later my son is walking around outside the service department when he notices that one of the workers responsible is moving from car to car WITHOUT WEARING A MASK. This is directly against CDC right now for which the service center can be closed down -- not to mention against human decency considering you can easily be spreading the virus person to person (customers) with such carelessness. My son makes a snide remark to the gentleman about this ("Hey way to follow CDC guy!") and the worker goes into an office and comes out wearing a mask. But I am at high risk for the coronavirus and my son now has no faith in the shop's diligence with customer cars so he asks for a manager. He tells the manager about the incident and that he now wants my car to be disinfected (as well as the two customer cars he saw the worker move between) prior to returning it. Luckily the manager is accommodating and promises to speak to the individual he saw not wearing a mask. He's also decides they CAN do the oil change for us for free but my son doesn't want to wait another four hours for something he can do himself in less than a 1/2 hour so he politely declined. Several days later I got an automated email from the service manager asking me to call him if I intended to leave anything but a stellar review. I called and left a message a week ago but I haven't heard back. My best advice from someone who has two mechanic sons who currently work in the auto industry: go to this dealership only for warranty and service contract repairs that require a dealership and even then question everything. Go to a reputable dealer or mechanic for anything that requires a judgment call. This dealer continually demonstrated poor judgment and ethics to us--I can only imagine what they do to m car owners who don't necessarily know the ins and outs of car repairs and maintenance. Another negative for JM. We have a friend who works for Southeast Toyota. We were looking to purchase a used or new Lexus and we asked her to set up us with a good sale person. We were given the name of Gary Andrews. My husband contacted him and arranged to set up up a time for us to make the 1 hour drive south to look at vehicles. Mr. Andrews only works 8 to 5 Monday - Friday, so my husband scheduled to go down there on Monday. My husband emailed Mr. Andrews on Sunday night to confirm. Monday morning, he received an email from Mr. Andrews stating that he had a family emergency and would not be able to meet him but that he would contact him later that afternoon to reschedule. (I am still not sure why he couldn't have told us to see someone else.) My car was in for a recall at Palm Beach Lexus, while I was waiting for my service adviser, I started walking around the showroom. A nice salesperson came up and started talking to me. I told him that my husband was looking for a possibly used IS 250, but that he was supposed to be going to JM Lexus. This sales person assured me that he could put my husband into a brand new IS for the same money we were looking to spend. At this point it was 5 p.m. I called my husband to inquire if he had heard from Mr. Andrews, he had not. So my husband decided to come to Palm Beach Lexus to look at vehicles. We ended up buying a brand new fully loaded Lexus IS 350. We were willing to drive an hour our of our way to possibly buy a car at JM Lexus. First I want to make clear that my rating is mainly based on the "Best Deal" I was offered at this location. The services provided by Devon Michael Torres deserved a 5 stars, he's very professional, and the overall atmosphere at JM Lexus is world class. I was looking for a new car after my Infiniti G37 S were stolen from my front door (paid in full 3 years ago). I was open to do "any DEAL" as long as it makes sense (for me), I was debating between the Lexus IS250C and RC350 F, I was open to buy new in CASH, buy a demo, preowned with low miles, do a lease, whatever as long as the deal appeared to be favorable... An important factor to take in count is my credit score of over 800 FICO, in addition to the willingness to pay around $50,000 with a check or credit card. The best numbers offered for a RC350 F demo was: $1500 down $747 For 36 months @ 10k miles/year Changing the car to leaser loaded one: $1500 down $630 For 36 months @ 10k miles/year Changing the car again and putting some money as a "hold" or deposit until the lease expire (program that I never heard before but I was even able to do it): $6225 at signing ($1500 down + $4725 held) $529 For 27 months @ 10k miles/year Getting the $4725 at the end of the lease. On the buying option the Best Preowned Deal was $47000 plus TAX but we didn't get too deep into this, leasing was the option we explored the most. Bottom-line: For an extremely well qualify buyer, open to do whatever as long it "makes sense" it was not a good experience. I purchased a car from JM Lexus, and though not a Lexus, I couldn't have been more pleased with the treatment I received along with the general helpfulness and polite attention of not only their sales but of their other staff members. What has been a real delight is their follow up service. They definitely have the very best totally top notch service waiting room I've ever seen. It has a completer complimentary coffee, donut, sweet roll counter along with state of the art Wi-Fi and computers. Better yet, my service has always been promptly attended to and whatever has needed to be done has always been done correctly the very first time. I might add that this is the first time I've ever given a car dealership (I hate car dealerships) Five Stars and to be frank about it, thought that such would never happen. My Lexus wouldn't start today. Sounded strange not dead battery sound and all interior elements were working. I called for a tow and had them tow to JM Lexus in Margate. Tow truck driver was a pro. At it 30 years. He commented that his brother had an RC350 too and loved it. We arrived from curbside associates to runners to service help desk was 100% professional. I was offered a loaner car but opted put. 1 1/2 hours later got a call from the service person who helped me. Said it was just a battery. It was $200 plus but figured JM Lexus took of me baby good and saved me the hassle of DIY. Here's where things get seriously sideways unfortunately. My service rep was totally a gentleman. I paid and had every confidence my vehicle was in order. No Go. When the car was ready my rep told me that the technicians manager told him if you pull the doorhandle too hard it comes off. This surprised me because it's never been an issue. When I approach my vehicle and put my hand on the handle as Lexus owner knows when you put your hand on handle and wait a second the car will unlock assuming you have the key on you. Once that happens, a gentle pole will open your door, but the handle came loose in my hand. Explain to him that this was never a problem. My service rep immediately wanted to give me a loaner and fix the problem, but said we would have to speak to his manager first. Approximately five minutes later, she arrived. Unfortunately, I did not get her name and business card. Before I even showed her the problem with the doorhandle, she stated as follows " do you know a female technician opened your door, right"?. my reply was what does that have anything to do with it? Her reply was, and I wish I was making this up, but it was as follows " well we are the we or sex". As if a woman was too weak to damage a car door handle.I have a 28 year-old daughter and she is the strongest person I know. I found her comments to be truant and out of step with the realities of the world and who can do what. Personally I have found that women in companies I have worked for capable and formidable. I think a door handle on a car is something they can definitely demolish if they felt like it or by accident. Never in my life had a woman say something like that to me about another woman who is a technician. I found the comment repugnant and childish. It's 5 to 6 hours since I heard her say it I'm still disgust. if you can do the job you can do the job. And you're supervisor should not use you as an excuse for weakness..After I told her that I have worked and served with many women she tried to hang it on the that I had touched up some paint chips on the edge of the door. I naturally asked for another manager. While I was waiting, I started my car and LCD screen didn't work. With a dead battery it was good. Few minutes of waiting, the director of service meet me. Danny Nieves. I explained to him the issues. I asked what would be done. His said "Im going to do nothing". I refused to accept. I was becoming frustrated as no one came to advise me of why such a delay. I waited over 45 min. and this was with an appt. I finally recvd my loaner car. I want you to know why I'm writing this review and giving JM one star. I recently went there for an oil change of my vehicle. I noticed that after the service was done my speaker on my driver side door was giving a garbled sound and I said to the manager that I did not bring in my vehicle with such bad audio. Even though a new Bluetooth user was on my vehicle named Jain, he said he'd look into it and then after about 30 mins said I could replace the speaker for $1k. Granted the speaker is a mark levinson unit but these same speakers are sold oem for around $150 from Lexus direct. I said ok I'm going to buy the speaker after market and then have it installed by them. I gathered all the right details like the part number and did the due diligence to make sure I'm getting the right speaker. This took some time and so I made an appointment to have the speaker installed as well as an issue I was having with my tailgate. When I went there the service department said I needed a new actuator for my tailgate and the oem speaker I had was not the right speaker. Well I went on YouTube saw how to access the speaker in the door and installed it my self and it worked flawlessly. Then with the tailgate there is some very minor setting that is accessed in the dash menu that handles this feature and with a click my tailgate worked. I discovered these things and saved my self $2k+ and lost time. The point of me saying this is that these folks and professional as they seem are in it for your cold hard cash and are not trying to legitimately save you time and money. Also they lack the perks of other Lexus dealers like north Miami. they give you spa services with an oil change. Beware. read more

I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here for service! I needed new tires for my Lexus after one of the tires blew out. When I originally brought my car to JM Lexus, I was assigned to Patrick Groeniger, who utterly laughed in my face when I asked if my tire plan would cover any of the tires. He was very short and inattentive to any of the details I was trying to give him. His disrespect was so blatant that I had to ask for a manager. That is when I spoke to Conrad Backer. He was very soft-spoken and seemed to not have any control over his subordinates. Nonetheless, he was slightly a little better at handling the situation. I was given a quote and he also told me they would cover one of the tires. This was two weeks prior to today. I decided to hold off and take care of other repairs at the body shop. When returning today I had the car towed again to JM Lexus. After receiving a new quote for tires, I noticed the price was a lot higher than my original quote. At this time I was already home, speaking on the phone with Conrad. I told him that my original quote was less than that which was being presented. He then asked me "Well why do you need a quote". And I said "why wouldn't I?" I need new tires! He also acknowledged that he remembered me from two weeks prior. I told him that I had the quote with me and that I didn't think I needed it figuring I would just be given the same quote from before. So he says whatever quote that I have that they would honor it. I also mentioned the tire that he said they would cover. He didn't acknowledge that either. So I had to drive 30 minutes back to the dealership, granted I had to pick up my children from school. When I arrived I showed him the printed quotes that I was given previously, but he completely denied ever telling me that they would cover the one tire. We went back and forth about his integrity, in which I mentioned how I was a service-connected Air Force Veteran and that "integrity" was our motto. I just wanted him to honor what was said and quoted from before. Conrad also said if I don't like the service there that I could go to the dealership I purchased my car. My frustration began to get the best of me, and I did begin to raise my voice, and when doing so, Conrad actually calls security. Security arrives and he tells security that I was being hostile. I reiterated that I only wanted to be honored with that what I was told before, and to get the car serviced, that's it! So then Conrad finally gives the okay to move forward with servicing the car, but of course, at this point, he definitely wouldn't honor to cover the one tire. I then leave to proceed to pick up my children, but while doing so I called the General manager Mark Hoppe. After speaking with him to explain all that has happened, he told me that I should have purchased my car from their dealership and that they wouldn't honor my tire package deal. At this point, I gave up completely with this entire dealership! I canceled the service, and I called for a tow truck to pick my car back up to take it to the Pembroke Dealership, where I originally purchased the car. So I had to go back to the dealership while with my kids, retrieved my car, and waited another hour for the tow truck to arrive. When I got to the Pembroke location, the energy and respect was a breath of fresh air. They said that they would honor my tire package deal and that there was no reason for JM Lexus to not have honored it. At this point in time, it was the end of the shift, so all I could do is drop it off and wait to pick it up tomorrow. But the level of professionalism of JM Lexus is by far the worst! I will never step foot in that dealership again! They are not about taking care of their customers no matter the issue, or the chaos they put on their customers. No consideration whatsoever of the fact that I had been back and forth and had towed the car 4 different times, nor the fact that I have a life, and other timely important matters to handle. Completely inconsiderate! I hope that this review can make its way to someone higher up at Lexus because this was a day completely wasted. I actually have a voice and I can speak up for myself, but I could just imagine others who may not have the courage to speak up, and more than likely get denied things they are entitled to and pay for, as well as any increased invoices that go undetected. This dealership needs some remedial training on customer service, integrity, and honoring quotes as well as packages customers have, and the general manager Mark Hoppe should simply be fired altogether. After speaking with him, I understand. To him, we are just another number in his eyes, and he could care less about anything we are dealing with concerning the service department. I went back recently to lease a 2024 RX350 with same features I have in my 2021 ( had to get steps, my wife has MS ) they wanted 2000$ for steps- extra for front and windshield tint - i have 360 camera - they wanted extra for that - very sorry to say i am priced way out of a RX350 raising price 250-300$ monthly is way over the top read more

I had one of the very best car buying experiences ever. My service advisor German Afanador was great! This would be my 3rd financed vehicle and the first 2 times I felt extremely pressured. I didn't feel as if the sales associate had my best interest. This was not the case with German. It was such a pleasure working with him. Although I was not financing through the dealership, German did not change how I was treated! It was honestly such a great experience. My husband went to another dealership that same day, for himself and he couldn't stop comparing JMLexus with the other dealership. He left that place and went back to JMLexus! ***Just want to update, I was told I get $100 for referrals, I referred my husband the very next day and when contacting German about the referral, I get no response! read more

I called the JM Lexus on the 12/6/23to have a price quote for a break Job. I spoke to "Yvonne" , the Customer Rep, she wasn't helpful at all and very rude. She put me in hold and no one picked up the calls. Very professional auto dealers Treat the customer with respect. Most places give you the run around by bringing the manager over. Telling lies but not here. Sales people are honest. Beautiful showroom. Very nice waiting are with large screen TV's and you can have coffee, cappuccino, bagels, sandwiches at no cost while you wait I just love there policy if an item breaks or becomes defective after the first repair, they will repair it free for the life of the car. We went to look for a hybrid. Did not see what we wanted and ended up buying a Prius. But if are in the market for a Lexus, look no further. read more

This business deserves one star at most. After having a tire blowout. I called Lexus roadside assistance they said they would arrive in 88 minutes. I waited patiently. Then I waited in patiently. I waited for 5 1/2 hours. Finally picked up the car after nine hours took it to the dealership. I called to speak to the customer service representative. He can barely speak. If you called to leave a message you can't understand a word he was saying. Mumbles just a total idiot. I'm embarrassed to sayI own a Lexus.The worst customer service ever. I this is my second Lexus. i recently leased a new es 350 from jm lexus, which is the third lexus in the last 12 years. i spoke to a vip sales manager who is no longer with the company. he told us that in addition to us getting the car we would receive a $200 gift certificate to a local restaurant. i never received the gift and after many calls, he is now no longer with the company. after speaking with another reresentative he informed me that they couldn't give it to me, as it was not part of their policy. how should i know what their policy is and i took the salesman at his word as being part of the company. i feel very let down as a customer and as a prior customer. they just lost me and my family business read more

I have heard this dealership has exceptional customer service. I'm wondering why I've never experienced it. Each time I've gone to this dealership I feel like I have to convince someone to help me. Today, I needed to take my car for an estimate on damage from a fender bender. After calling several times and not getting an answer in the collision or service department I called the sales department. Sales department people were dismissive but did tell me that the service department was open until 5 PM. Since I could not get anyone on the phone, I decided to drive to the dealership thinking I would explain what was wrong with the car and leave it for an estimate. I had a friend arrange to come pick me up. When I got there I found out that the service department had close to hours earlier. I called a frie up at four it actually closed at three. Unfortunately for me I have a warranty that can only be used at this dealership. Wish I hadn't done that. read more

BE CAUTIOUS!! Get a 2nd opinion before having service done at this location! NOT TRUSTWORTHY! My mom has been taking her Lexus here for several years! She recently had her car serviced for an oil change and was informed that a leak in the car would cost $5k+ to repair and was told "the car is no good, you need to buy a new car." The Lexus is in excellent shape with no performance issues. The technician, Carlos, stated that he could not print out the invoice and that he would need to email the invoice, but verbally stated that it would be around $5k+ to repair. No invoice was ever received. Thereafter, I had the car taken to another dealership who repaired the leak for $450.00 and stated there were no major issues with the car. I'm extremely disappointed in JM's poor customer service, especially since my mother has been taking her car there for 10+ years now! read more
