We took a chance based off online reputation and Rich's word: wired cash for car plus $800 to ship to our home.

What followed was a pattern of broken promises, unresolved mechanical issues, and misleading information that caused serious harm to my business. Multiple unauthorized credit inquiries were run. I was promised these vehicles could later be traded for cargo vans or hotshot trucks, and that commitment was later abandoned. I was repeatedly told my truck had been "fixed." In reality, many problems were never resolved. I have uploaded video evidence showing the truck failing to start, despite being cleared for service. I was also told the hazard lights were on during testing -- video proves they were not. Service records list mileage that does not match the actual odometer at the time. Because of these ongoing failures, my trucks were unreliable for contracted work. I lost income, contracts, and credibility with clients as a result. Instead of supporting a long-term commercial customer, I was left dealing with excuses, shifting explanations, and unreliable equipment. This experience caused significant financial and professional damage. I am sharing this so other business owners understand the risks. Document everything and do not rely on verbal assurances. Edit 2.7.2026: For transparency, I have linked a video documentation on YouTube showing the vehicle failing to start after being represented as repaired: https://youtu.be/uQbrQ8NwrCE This matter is currently being handled through formel legal and regulatory processes, including manufacturer dispute and legal review. I was previously represented by counsel and am now working with new counsel, Matthew M. Fischer, P.A. who is preparing a new action. My attorneys will be in touch.

Despite this, I decided to take the risk. Here's what happened: ‼Security Red Flag: The salesman, David Rubano, requested a photo of the front and back of my credit card to his personal cell phone. Reluctance to Finalize Sale: Despite having full cash ready, they created multiple obstacles to complete the transaction. Unnecessary Deposit: They insisted on a $5,000 deposit even though I was paying in full. Poor Customer Service: The salesperson was nonchalant and unhelpful. In Detail: I went to this dealership ready to purchase a car outright with full cash. Unfortunately, the experience was far from smooth. The salesperson's request for sensitive information, the insistence on a deposit, and the overall lack of professionalism were major letdowns. I would strongly advise considering other dealerships. Final Note: I suspect the dealership might attempt to fabricate an excuse for these issues, but two things stand firm: the BBB rating and the screenshot of the salesperson's request.

So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

We stopped at this Carmax to check out some used cars for sale and maybe test drive one or two…read more The way it works is that you basically have a Self-Service system here. You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. We walked around for about 15-20 min and did not find anything that caught our eyes. But at least we now know how it works.

Incredibly disappointing experience here. Was recommended by a friend and reached out directly to…read moresalesman. Was quoted a price that was very close to what I was looking for on a Macan electric. Asked for small additional discount and was told they would see what they could do but we would need to come to store which is a distance away for us. My wife and I drove (car is for her) and was told now they could no longer honor the deal and the salesman started screaming at my wife within 5 minutes of arrival during the vehicle demonstration that he sets the prices not the management to the point that she just went back to our car and cried for 30 minutes. She just wanted a test drive. Salesman Bruno told us we should try another salesman at the dealership which I did Larry. He told me he could not honor Bruno's price and the cost was now $5000 more. Tried to reach out to ownership but they also were very unhelpful and rude. My father is a large car dealer in the Tampa area and my wife and I are both doctors. We have a number of vehicles and have never had this experience anywhere. I went to Porsche of West Broward the next day and we purchased the vehicle with a great experience, done in a few minutes and everyone was pleasant at a much lower price than even the initial offer from Champion. I would avoid this place like the plague. I don't understand how they do business like this, everyone seems angry and totally indifferent to the customer, not at all what you expect at a Porsche store. I just don't understand how they can scream at clients on arrival and change the deal in writing and management supports this. This seems to be their modus operandi. At any other dealership if a salesman yelled at and threatens a client (much less a female doctor) to the point where she was sobbing and they would not continue to be employed. I hope they make some changes or they will not continue to hold their "sales titles".
