This ordeal was painful and unnecessary to finally get correct part installed promptly.This was finally resolved by Ford and the car was updated with a new computer. My company van went in for hydro lock motor. They stated new engine with fix the issue. New engine $13,900 Got called van is ready for pickup. Got there and it doesn't start. Now they stated the injectors are bad that's the reason. $2,750 Got called van is ready. I get there van starts but sounds like a deleted 7.3 engine. Then they stated that the catalytic are clogged which is why it sounds like this... they wanted 7,000 I had van tow back home. I removed the catalytic took the to DPF performance in Fort Lauderdale they stated they are fine no issues with them. I installed a brand fuel sending unit. Purchased brand new Interstate batteries for $500 Took it to another mechanic and he got it to run. Van went down again had it towed to the dealer as it is under warranty. As they were performing test they killed both batteries and burned my starter. Instead of them putting the batteries on a trickle charger they put in 2 new batteries of their own and was charge $1,022.35 for the starter they burned while performing test! Then they came to find out the the flywheel was bad and they replaced it at no cost(clearly part of the motor I already paid for) Van went down again sent back to dealer then they came up with an excuse stating that the fuel is the problem and wanted another $22,000 to get it fixed and I refused. I had the van towed to my house, a month later I Decided to finally get this van running again I charged the batteries then turned the ignition heard something leaking looked under my van and see diesel pouring on the ground turned it off then realized they never put my fuel filter or filter housing back on. I called the dealer then they said we can't do anything since you already picked up the van. So I let it be. today I decided to work on it as I saved money for it. Batteries were dead took them to advanced to get tested and they were bad took them to Auto Nation Ford Margate as they were the ones to install the new batteries they told me they can't warranty them as I didn't pay for the batteries! Yet the receipt says I was charged for hazardous materials(my old batteries that were good). At the end of the day they were paid nearly $19,000 for something they didn't even fix. Stay away from this dealership their only good at taking money and assuming what the problem instead of actually diagnosing the actual problem and fixing it! This has been the most disappointing experience I've ever had with a service center. If I could leave negative stars, I would. This location has repeatedly wasted my time and shown a complete lack of consideration for customers. Today, I had a 6:00 PM appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. When scheduling online, I clearly selected that I would be waiting for my vehicle. I drove all the way from Davie to make my appointment, only to be told by the service writers that they could not perform the service unless I dropped off my vehicle. If that was the case, why wasn't I contacted beforehand? I had to leave work early and spend nearly an hour driving there, only to be turned away. This is unacceptable--especially since my vehicle is my only means of transportation. This wasn't my first disappointing experience with this dealership. I previously scheduled three separate appointments to have a recall repaired, only to be told each time that the dealer did not have the necessary tool. This issue has been ongoing since 2022. Rather than notifying me in advance, the dealership allowed me to waste time traveling there repeatedly. What makes this worse is that I purchased my vehicle from this same location and had trusted them to provide quality service, as I've done with all of my past Fords. Unfortunately, this experience has completely destroyed my confidence in their service department. The recall in question was a safety issue, and the lack of urgency put my family at risk. I even had to rent a vehicle on multiple occasions because I didn't feel safe driving mine. Despite being assured over the phone that the necessary tools were available, I was once again told upon arrival that they were not. I ultimately had the recall fixed at another dealership without any issue. AutoNation has failed to take responsibility for their mistakes and has shown little regard for customer safety or satisfaction. I appreciated the clear nature of the service advisor and the timeliness of service. They even gave my car a quick wash which is always a nice surprise. They also have vehicle service tracker that shows you where your car is at during its service and gives you real time updates. Absolutely not helpful any time I ever come to this location. Worst location avoid at all costs. Unfortunately, this is apparently one of the only FORD locations with a body shop. If you need to bring in for recall prepare for them to just drag you through the dirt. 2 recalls they told me about they don't even have part or can't even fix. The other is taking a whole assessment and they're keeping me captive here at the dealership all day till they figure out the issue. The issue is quite apparent, they have no loaners to help get me back to my home while they work. Workers in body shop aren't even here on time to work. "Service associates" do not care. Last time was charged nearly $300 for Simone oil change. Told myself that was last time, I was forced to come to this location to fix my care and all they do is give problems. If I could give -5 stars I would definitely do so. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership. Either for a purchase or a service. Everybody there is a liar sales or service. I purchased a vehicle and they sold me an extended warranty for $4k. One day, I received an email from that insurance company asking to rate them for their job I had no clue about. I did not pay attention that day. Then when I had to go for my repair the insurance refused me stating it was a commercial vehicle and they don't cover commercial vehicles. To my question that they covered something already I had no clue about, they answered it was an ac. So they repaired someone's ac using my warranty. Long story short, I put a claim with the department of finance against that insurance company and with Ford against the dealership. In fact they returned the money for that extended warranty against my loan. Now I tried to give them an other and the last shot to check the misfire issue I had. I changed my spark plugs and couple of coils 2 months ago and the check light started blinking and go away. They charged me $209 for a diagnosis to make the vehicle even worse by changing one spark plug pitting there extremely old, rusty and black one and told me that I need to change my plugs despite on that I told them I changed them 2 months ago along with 2 coils and perform carbon cleaning on the engine. And for that they quoted me $1900. Naturally I refused that service as I understood it was a lie and trap. It is just horrible when a dealer does such a scam thinking you are dumb or do not understand anything. and when I drove away, my check came on and never went away and the vehicle started shaking on the way. I checked the sparks and found the old, absolutely not working plug in the 5th cylinder. The one, advisor was showing me on a video assuring me it was mine next to an other, proper one, which was mine. So if you want to avoid problems, save yourself time and money, stay away from these crooks. But to be fair on the other hand I have to say that I have been to other Autonation dealerships in other different other States, and they were honest in service and at a sensible prices. We bought a used van with 11k miles for our bussiness, we asked how many keys salesman said 4 keys or maybe 3 he said he didn't remember, got approved and we specifically told the finance person we didn't want nothing add to the loan (no gap,no extra insurance) he gave us a payment amount but he want to try a different finance bank so we came back to sign the next day. Know days you put one signature on an ipad and that signs everything but when we got handed keys only 1 key and when we got hime the contract got gap and 2 extra insurances adding almost $3k so we are never going back for bussiness unless someone care to fix our experience read more

We had my sons car in for a repair, first misdiagnosed, then repaired poorly and on return to my home (Three weeks) we had to take it back. It was covered in oil. The hood and fenders had oil smeared all over them. The car was not put back together properly and leaked oil on my driveway. I am now getting quotes to have it fixed as continued washing using various different methods has done nothing to the stain. I bought a new car from them at the same time. It was a basket case. Its a shame Ford is putting out this level of product quality, and leaves it to the incompetent dealers to clean up the mess. The new car still isn't completely resolved. Go ANYWHERE else. read more

Stay away of this business as they don't care about the customer's safety. They sold me a car with seized caliper, front brakes with 3mm or less and an old battery that was causing error codes. Clearly they did not inspect 125 points as advertised. Made me drive a car from Margete to Jax on a seized caliper. The repairs I made and paid off my pocket were $1310.43 to have the vehicle be safe to drive! When I contacted them about the repairs and sent them the report from the dealership, they totally ignored me, Charles replied after two days saying they did inspect and when I asked for explanation about he never replied. The sales manager never bothered to reply. Customer service is very bad whenever they connect me to the sales of the dealership and I never get a reply. Customer relations never replied even after 9 business days that is ridiculous! They are behaving like a small shop not a dealership. read more

He then told me that I have 3 years or 30,000mi of coverage and could have the work done at any AutoNation or at Mercedes Benz Dealership. I also asked him if my MB had Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Warning Assist. Which he quickly replied YES ! Then in the Finance Department, Scott told me I was informed wrongly and that there is no warranty on the vehicle. But, I was willing to let this go, even though it is now costing me $4000 more for a warranty, that I thought was included with the original price I agreed upon! And now that I have bought the car, I found in the glove compartment the original dealer information tag. This car does not have Adaptive Cruise Control & Lane Warning Assist. No complaints about the service advisor. I brought in my 2019 Ford Edge SEL for transmission fluid change, drain and fill. The invoice shows the refilled transmission fluid is XT-10-QLVC. The owner manual says XT-12-QULV, from page 353: "Automatic transmissions that require MERCON ULV transmission fluid should only use MERCON ULV transmission fluid. The use of any other fluid may cause transmission damage." I need the service manager to explain this situation. Transmission fluid XT-10-QLVC is MERCON LV and XT-12-QULV is MERCON ULV. read more

On the day of the purchase they took about 4 hours just to check credit and finish the transaction. Took more time to detail the car. Left the dealership at 12 at night. But alas! The car was all scratched up and dirty. Gave me the car without floor carpets. Returned another day to get carpets and get the car detailed. Gave me carpets from another car. But the car came out with more scratches. Great customer focus, but needs to improve everything else. Will not return and you should not go either. Better places out there. read more
