However this sandwich (the one that shares the same title as the eatery) had mass, girth, and more to offer than I could handle!!! It didn't take long to realize I had neglected to bring napkins to my table... as the juices leached through my fingers and all over my hands. This did not take away from the enjoyment! This specialty had a beef patty as well as a large portion of tenderized chicken. There was ample cheese to attempt to adhere those together. Not possible though. It also came with avocado and grilled onions. Oh such flavor! Alas... All that enjoyment and still... My tray has lingering fries, pieces of bun with drenched onions and lettuce strewn about, and lingering tidbits of beef and chicken that will never make it through my stomach... The buns are fluffy, the patties are cooked well, there is a good variety of options, and each bite feels great. It's a hefty burger, but I finished it with no problem because it was so good. The fries are also good but are nothing too special. I got the cheeseburger combo (burger, fries, and a drink) for $11.45 (w/o tax). It's definitely a bit more than I'm used to paying for a cheeseburger combo, but at least the food is good. The staff are great. Cashier was friendly. I went during the lunch rush, and although there were tons of people and almost no empty tables, service was pretty fast. This is more of a casual place--you're in charge of getting your drinks and throwing away your trash. It definitely feels more like a fast food place, and the inside isn't all that nice. Oh my goodness! Can you say "off the chain"? Why didn't I discover this little gem before now? I ordered the pork chop sandwich and it was delicious! I "heart" pork chops - so I had to try it. The sandwich comes on milk bread and it looks like it's made for 2! Even the French fries are huge! I checked out the table next to me and the people sitting there had the biggest burgers I've ever seen in my life. They really want to make sure you get full and leave happy. After my coworker told me about this place I finally decided to stop by. Went into this place with low expectations and I was blown away. The food is cheap and great. So great I've already been about 6 times. The first time I ordered the buffalo wings. It came with a salad, fries, and a toasted bread that was all awesome. Second time, I ordered a quesadilla. It was so large I had to take it to go. I usually eat all my food in one sitting. Not complaining since it gave me a snack for later. And the third time, I ordered regular wings. It came with all the same sides as the first and was just as great. The few times later I went, I ordered some of the same items and also burger. I didn't take a photo of the burger but like the rest, it was great. I can't recommend this place enough. I only go here for work. I wish there was one closer to where I live. Yesterday my husband and I were excited to try this "new to us" place, due to all the stellar reviews. We're uncertain what all the positive reviews are about‍. My husband had the wings and I had catfish. Hands down the worst catfish I've ever had, I didn't even finish 1 filet. It was the thinnest catfish I've ever seen, 1/8 - 1/4 inch. And somehow it was chewy though not due to overcooking. My husbands wings were breaded and undercooked. He said they were the worst he's ever had. Place is called JLB eatery now. Just had the burgers. Place a pretty good. The actual burger tastes great and cooked well. It has those crunchy caramelized bits on the edges It's seems the patty is hand formed. It kinda falls apart like when I make burgers at home. The bun is awesome too. Not to heavy, not to light. Doesn't fall apart. Crazy magic. The burgers are huge. Is basically 15 bucks for a combo meal, which is sorta pricey I guess. It's worth it though, I took half the burger home. The burger was so juicy and well seasoned and big enough for two people but not absurdly so. The bread was fresh and perfectly buttered and toasted! Ya'll it was so good my husband barely wanted to share it with me and he ALWAYS shares his food with me! I ordered fried catfish and shrimp and it was delicious as well. I ordered burger and onion rings, and my co-workers irder a Buffalo wrap, and 3rd tried to order a grilled chicken wrap saod tbeu don't do that but could order a grilled chicken sandwich? wrap gets her food, and her avatar is so gross brown and gooey and had nearly no chicken all lettuce. The chicken sandwich gets his, and the same avocado is bad.. mije gets to me and smi have fries, no onion rings I said oh I order it oion rings he argued with me about it. Let's nit leave out he barely speaks English, and he's taking orders. It was in my ticket onion rings. Needless to say, we were al frustrated and didn't continue to argue.. Was out in the area replacing both AC and Heating systems for my good friend Jason D's mom so at lunch doing a quick search on yelp saw Joy Love Burgers had opened a new location near by I new them from there Katy Tx location so I was like bet. Let me say they did not disappoint in fact this new location is cleaner and much bigger by 3 to 4 times so large groups welcome. I got the avocado beacon burger with onion rings yummy yummy that burger was delicious and those onion rings so bready yet not greasy in the top 10 I've ever had for sure. These are good old fashioned "Eddy Murphy Momma" (the kind where you need two hands to hold it) burgers served with a huge beef patty, all the Fixin's, and plenty of additional options like avocados, A whole chicken breast, or a pork chop. This is a casual joint where you order and pay up front, and your order gets delivered to you when it's ready. The burgers and sandwiches here are bigger than your normal adult palm! Each combo is enough to feed two! You definitely get your money's worth here. I tried the Chicken Melt, and it was really good. The bacon made it crunchy, and the avocado simply brought it to another level. The fries were quite average though. This place is definitely worth a re-visit for me. Really good, huge burger! I was worried it was going to be a frozen patty but it was not. The angus cheeseburger tastes great! I think they just opened recently and I'm a little worried about their location as it's hidden away...The combo comes with a large amount of fries too which were really good too. They only had one girl taking the orders and I think they might need two. And there was only one server bringing out the food. Regardless the food came out pretty quickly. Overall we all enjoyed our food and hope to come back soon. *update. Came back and wanted to try the Cajun wings which I told were supposed to be spicy but they aren't.
