Jeremy replaced the torsion springs on my overhead garage door after one of them broke. He explained how the springs I needed were bigger than the ones that had been on my door, and he demonstrated the before-and-after difference on our second identical door (which was more difficult to open and did not stay put when disconnected and open half-way). Jeremy gave me great advice and a good price, which included inspection and recalibration of our motorized opener and a 1-year warrantee on parts and labor. Had Jeremy do a high lift conversion for my garage in 2018 so I could install a 4 post lift. He installed a new insulated door and a side mount opener so the middle guide track could be removed. Did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. He is also super responsive. (Give him a break on the one review below where he was having a bad day. ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE! Absolutely disrespectful! Had Jeremy come out to give me an estimate. I am in the market for a basic garage door, with no opener. My boyfriend is able to install a garage door opener and save approximately $200. I have received over 6 estimates from various companies. I do my research. I am well aware of the model number, brand, color, window and insert name, as well as thickness of insulation needed for my door. I don't want to waste anyone's time. I know what I want. After explaining this to Jeremy, he immediately accused me of being in the garage door sales business. He insinuated that I was getting a "fake" estimate to test the market. He stated that since my boyfriend can install a garage door, we must both work in the garage sales business. Absurd, I know. I assured him I/ we are not, and that I genuinely wanted an estimate. He was relentless. After being accused about 3 times, I felt uncomfortable in this situation and told him I needed to leave. I was getting this estimate alone, and was starting to feel very uneasy by his entire demeanor. Not only was he rude by being relentless in the accusations, but he also flat out called me a liar, when I told him I was getting a garage door opener with 2 remotes, and keyless outside entry for $200. He said if I could get them at that price he would buy stock and purchase all of them. OK, so now I admit I'm starting to get a little pissed at this time. I know he had no intentions on giving me a proper written estimate, so I handed him a sticky note with my email and told him just to email me a quote. When he was proceeding to get into his vehicle, I asked if he was the owner of the company- he said yes. I had every intention on reporting his actions to his superior. He left. A few minutes later, I call him. I wanted to let him know he if he "wanted to buy stock" in the garage door openers I have the model number and location of where they can be purchased. More or less, I wanted to prove to him that NO, I am not a liar. I called him out on how inappropriate his actions were and told him to rip up my email and that I will not be doing business with him. I did not let him get a word in edgewise- I hung up. Seconds later I get a text from him apologizing saying he had a bad day and didn't mean to come off unprofessional. I did not reply. I don't care if you're having the worst day possible, this was no excuse for being treated this way. read more

A friend recommended that I call JK Door solutions when my garage door failed me. Although he couldn't answer the phone right away, I left a message and he promptly called me back. I did not want to take time off from work to be home for the service. He was able to come on the weekend, and I really appreciated that. He was on time, as he said he would be. The repair to my garage door was not simple, but Jeremy was able to complete the job in a very reasonable time frame. He was very friendly and professional.
