Fantastic food! One of the BEST burgers I've ever eaten. The only reason I didn't give them a five is the unnecessary way servers are dressed. I was uncomfortable with how short their shorts were. Came on a Saturday night. Good live music was able to get a good seat. Food was good. Had the chicken and waffles. The only complaint was the chicken was a little dry but the addition of the egg and bacon to the traditional chicken and waffle dish was a nice added surprise. One of my favorite places in town. Many probably go for the girls (the servers to watch or patrons to meet-lol), the pool table, or to watch sports, but my husband and I go for the food and drinks. It is not a chain, so the food tastes very fresh. They have a big bar area with a large selection of popular and local beer on tap. They have a back patio area for smokers. I strangely get cravings for their cheese fries and boneless chicken wings from time to time. I know they are probably really bad for you, but sometimes you just have to indulge. read more

Ok....I'm from San Francisco-land of GREAT restaurants but I gotta say this place rocks on many levels. First time to Arkansas...walked in to a fun and alive joint...had a turkey burger which was tasty and tried 2 of JJs own beers-seasonal and wheat both of which had good taste. The service was great. Went here on a whim for lunch We were kind of in a hurry so didnt get to enjoy the place as much as we would've liked. I was actually surprised at how fast we had a waitress stop by our table considering how busy it was and to you get to pick anywhere to sit. Staff was friendly and food was great. My friend order the fried jalapenos and I even enjoyed those and I dont eat jalapenos at all. We were out of town and wanted to find a "local" restaurant and found JJ's on Yelp. We were glad we did This place is a bar/grill/restaurant. It is loud and fun. It was close to Halloween and all the waitstaff were all in costumes. 5 stars for the fun atmosphere. We ended up getting 2 JJ "world famous" cheeseburgers with fries, a peach margarita, and JJ's IPA. All good bar food and prompt service- 4 stars. A Tuesday evening and the house is packed and rockin'. Stumbled upon this pub-n-grub as I drove around to investigate the area. Bar service is slow but the fellow crawlers are warm and friendly. Couldn't believe this locale wasn't already in yelp. The bartender didn't seem to care one way or the other. As a business traveller I enjoy rubbing elbows with the happy & friendly locals. JJs is a popular bar in NWA. The menu has a ton of options and the food is pretty good. Service is also good! Great option if you're looking for a place to have some beers while you eat! I was really impressed by their customer service with my take-out order recently. It's a bar. If that is what you want, you'll be happy. I had heard the food was food. Food was fine. Being named JJ's Grill not JJ's Bar, I expected more. I had a hard time getting past the overwhelming smell of beer when I walked in the door. Guessing the floor was covered in it or something for the smell to be that overwhelming. If you're looking for a place to go solo or hangout with friends, JJ's in Rogers is the place to go. The staff is very friendly and professional. My servers are usually Christina, or Lydia. Both do an excellent job. The other servers that I've had that are great are Avalon, Aileen, and the Taylors (yes there are two of them. One is tall and one not so much). No matter how crowded the bar is, they will sit down with you and answer any and all questions that you may have. The managers that I've met are Dan and Kelsey. They both are more than willing to help in any way. E.g. They run food, deliver drinks and are more than willing to answer all of your questions as well!! I'll jump right into it. I ordered the philly cheese steak with sweet potato fries and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The cheesestake was surprisingly better than i imagine! The pieces of steak wasa bit thicker than the usually thin slices of steak most restaurants have. The meat was seasoned well yet still juicy and tender. It came with onions, bell peppers and mushrooms on it, i added jalapeños. There was a crazy amount of mushrooms and onions that fell off soon as i closed the sandwich to bite it. More is usually better however it mad it a lil sloppy and although the meat was nice n thick it still was less than the veggies. The sweet potato fries was average. Good and fresh tho. The soup was great! I wish i would've ordered the soup first or asked for the tortillas on the side because the lost the crunch while i was eating my sandwich. Plus i could've took it home if i didn't allow it to get soggy. It was delicious tho! The atmosphere is cool. I was the only black person there but i was fine and didn't have any trouble. Obviously ppl were there getting drunk but everyone held there liquor well and was having a good ole time. Only reason i gave 4 stars is because is took 15/20mins for someone to even acknowledge me as a customer but other than that they were all nice and checked on me periodically. If I'm ever in town again I'll def come back. Hopefully a little earlier and preferably no alone. Lol read more

Decided on this place, because it had a variety of food items! Pulling in I was kinda of hesitant, it looked like a bar, and I had my son with me. He said, oh let's go, so we did. Walked in...yes, it's more of a bar than a restaurant. Service was very quick, friendly waitresses & food was good!! We were in & out in about an hour....even though the place was packed!! Live bands at a later time of the evening....definitely a place to go for an enjoyable evening with friends. My son loved it & kids eat free, so it was a win win. I got stranded in Bentonville for the night and it's also the night of the college football National Championship. The manager at the hotel recommends I check out JJ's just on the other side of I-540. I should probably mention that the reason I got stranded is due to snow. Walk in to JJ's and it has the feel of a true local's bar, worn wood everywhere and a local band playing 70's rock. I'm here to watch the game, so I sit at the bar. The servers/bartenders were fine, mostly female and wearing Hooter's type attire without the branding. Not a bad beer selection either, they had Chimay Blue in a bottle which surprised me. The chicken ceasar wrap was ok, nothing special though I did like that they gave you a choice of tortilla. Not a bad place to pop into every now again, but I could see myself getting tired of this place quickly. read more

First the good stuff: The burgers are great. I will totally recommend the sweet potato fries to everyone that walks in the door.. Live music is usually good, whoever does their booking does a decent job. Mostly local. $2 Margarita night is the bomb dig though. The Meh: If your a guy, the Hooters-Style turned Gretchen Wilson waitresses attire is the ticket. Me, still being a female, I don't mind the denim mini shirts and tank tops, but regardless of how attractive the girls are I don't want to see someone's belly ring dangling near my fries and sammaches.. I do wish some of the bar staff were better trained on what the drink menus consisted of.. Either cut the menu down or give the gals some homework. Not everyone wants a domestic draft.. Don't expect to go to JJ's to watch a game.. There is, I think, one TV above the bar. If you have a large group with you, be ready to NOT have a table big enough. It is always packed.. Last but not least, the PARKING LOT.. or lack thereof is NOT private. I cannot tell you how many times we have parked in the neighboring Office Depot/Starbucks parking lot. read more

This is a fun and relaxing sports bar and casual eatery. I went with my team after a righteous kickball game. They have live music and $1.99 margaritas which makes JJ's even more attractive. I had the Philly cheesesteak and home cut fries. Both were very tasty. JJ's is not the healthy choice, but good when you want to be bad. I think they have some semi-healthy choices, but you have to look for them. All in all a good time and I'll go back. read more

I was in Bentonville for a few months for work and came to know of JJ's, which was conveniently located within walking distance from the hotel. In getting to know some of the locals, I learned that JJ's one of the local favorites, and for good reason too. They have live music many nights of the week, the beer selection is vast, and the food is pretty darn good. The burgers could be better though, I am not sure what the problem is, I think it might be the bun. I generally go with the fried chicken wrap (with a spinach tortilla) or sometimes the catfish. So, if you find yourself in a longer than expected consulting engagement with Wal-Mart, do what I did, go to JJ's. read more
