Driving down from Minnesota stopping in Bentonville we found JJ's grill and we were looking for a good sports bar to watch the games. Unfortunately the inside was fully packed so we sat outside where there was only two TVs but it worked. Waitress was very kind and the atmosphere was cool. There's a lot of TVs and there is a pool table, which is a really cool part. Food was solid I wish I would've tried the catfish nuggets. They looked good. Wings were ok. I was in town on business and looking for a walkable spot to catch Monday Night Football--JJ's turned out to be a great find. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was warmly welcomed by Lauren, who took great care of me all evening. Friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations--she made the experience even better! I kicked things off with the loaded queso, which was seriously loaded. Packed with seasoned ground beef, it was hearty enough to be a meal on its own. Definitely worth ordering. Lauren also let me in on a fun house special: if you order a burger, you get to "flip for it"--call the coin toss correctly, and your burger is on the house. A cool and playful touch that adds some excitement to the meal. I went with JJ's Famous Burger, and it lived up to the name. The onions were grilled into the melted cheese on top, which was a surprisingly delicious twist. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Whether you're in town for business or just passing through, this place is absolutely worth a stop. I'd go out of my way to come back next time I'm in the area! read more

Stopped in to hear some live music while I was in town and am pleased to report that the atmosphere and the food were just as good as the music! Had a wonderful time. Dirty Flannel Shirt put on a great show. Make sure to tip them, we really enjoyed their variety of music. We had the chicken pineapple wrap with fries and the chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries along with Mac& cheese. The wrap had a sesame peanut Asian sauce which was delicious! Fries were just the right amount of crispy. The Mac & cheese - perfection! The chicken fried steak cooked perfectly. Service was a little slow but to be expected on a holiday weekend. Came to town for work and found this place in Yelp...did NOT disappoint! The atmosphere is awesome with live music and a bar. Awesome time! Service was friendly, timely and overall great! We had a group of six and started with loaded queso I had the blackened chicken sandwich and it was DELICIOUS, especially paired with homemade chips! Yelp asks me - do you recommend this business? Hell yes, I do. Came here recently on a work trip and enjoyed it so much that we had dinner here three nights in a row. Every night me and one of my colleagues had the catfish dinner. Really delicious catfish with two sides. The selection of sides here is dizzying. I had side salads a couple of nights - I recommend the Greek dressing. The fried mushrooms were on point, and the fried banana peppers were a hot item - so good that on our first night they ran out! This place was full of locals and regulars - we weren't the only people there each night, and the ones we saw repeatedly were there like family. Stopped by JJ's Grill for a last-minute bite and drink. We shared the nachos and a drink, and unfortunately, it was a pretty mediocre experience. The chips were stale, and the nachos felt more like a bean dip with a few toppings, rather than the traditional nachos I was expecting. The drink was fine, but overall, the food didn't impress. Might be okay if you're in a pinch, but I'd probably skip it next time. read more

What the heck J.J's? This place was once my ultimate favorite a few years ago. I bragged about it to a friend of mine....get there and get margaritas that were 16 dollars between the two of us. Mostly ice...placebo effect at best...A watered down margarita mixer is not the margarita I loved back in the day. July 31, 2025... after failing to find a place to eat at Buffalo Run Casino in Oklahoma we worked our way down to Rogers, OK. Coulton's steak house was closed permanently so we found JJ's. And we were glad we did! Ordered a simple burger and it was GREAT! Tasty and fresh. Slider burgers were good too. $1.50 beers during "HAPPY MINUTES". The fresh cut fries were blanched and fried perfectly. Staff was very nice as well. The only fault we found was that the salsa was runny and did not stick to the chips. But it still tasted good. I really enjoyed JJ's. I was staying nearby while on a motorcycle trip and asked the front desk for a good local spot. She immediately suggested JJ's. It was a great place to chill and get some food. They were packed the night I was there, and the crowd was fired up about some Arkansas football. Random chants and cheers were breaking out, which was awesome. They had a local three piece band doing music, and it was great. They were super young, but very talented. I had the "Big Bad Jack Burger", which was a ton of food and very tasty. I was hoping for a bit more heat, but it was still delicious. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be back for sure. read more

JJ's, how do I describe you? The Atmosphere - Sort of Twin Peaks-ish atmosphere. Dark. Definitely a bar vibe. Dingy. Loud. Servers wore short cutoffs and low tops. The bar was very full at 5 pm. Seemed to be a lot of "regulars." I was one of very few female customers in the place. (deduct half a star) The Drinks - Cheap and aplenty. Can't complain about $2.99 frozen margaritas, even if they do come in a small glass....although they were advertised for $2.50 on Tuesdays so I am not sure why I was overcharged for my frozen mango margaritas. I didn't complain there so I'm complaining here. (deduct a star) The Service. My server was super sweet and attentive. Wish I could remember her name. Food came quickly and she kept me hydrated. The Food. Mediocre and lukewarm. I ordered the jalapeño burger. Wasn't too bad but would have been better hot. Sweet potato fries were tasty. (deduct half a star) Therefore 3 stars. Will I return? If you want good food in a bar-like atmosphere and very slow, disinterested service - this is the place for you. We are regulars at more than one of their locations and the food is always great. But you will wait. For everything. A long time. Regardless of how busy they are or are not. And most of the servers will be uninterested in the service part of their job. We've waited well over 10 minutes to be greeted by the designated waitress - that's just to get menus and a drink order going. The service side goes down from there; but again the food is pretty darn good. Try the Philly cheesesteak with the fries, or the catfish or the tilapia - all good options. In past years the service has been better; more in line with what one expects at an establishment like this, not sure why it's slipped in recent months at both the Rogers and Bella Vista locations. Apathy seems to be the brand the servers are trained to display once they finally come to your table. As an example, it took 15 minutes for a light beer to make it the 12 feet or so from the bar to our table in a half filled restaurant; could easily have ordered from the bar and drank it in that time. Not saying don't go there - please do. Just be prepared to wait. A lot. And don't expect a lot of concern to be shown or an apology for that wait. read more

This is a great place, the first visit I was impressed by the bartenders that make it a point to welcome bar guests and remember you by name. If you sit at a table the waitresses are also awesome, so service has always been on point from my experience. The loaded queso is really good and would definitely recommend trying their burgers and wings as well. The live music is also great. We chose this restaurant because of the high ratings on yelp plus they had a substantial menu. One plus is the large menu where everyone can find something they like. I ordered a sandwich with pulled beef in barbecue sauce and macaroni and cheese on the top. It was flavorful, and you definitely can't eat it as a sandwich! It needed a knife and fork. I appreciated the variety of sides as well. I ordered the broccoli salad is a healthy side option. It was very flavorful. Two negatives about this restaurant: it was so loud we could not talk to each other. The music was turned up to a high-level. At 8:30 PM on Friday night, there's a live band. I did appreciate that. When we first arrived, they were playing the radio at full blast. Another negative about this place is the way the servers are dressed. As my husband stated, it felt like we walked into Hooters. This was a cool spot to visit. A very laid back bar with neat little trinkets around the walls. There was a DJ on the night that we went, and they were having a Halloween costume contest. Staff was nice and were all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip and fried banana peppers which were pretty good. The dip was good, but nothing special. I ordered the pineapple chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. The wrap was fantastic! It was juicy and the flavors of the pineapple with the chicken were very unique but tasty! The sweet potato fries were okay - they were very squishy and not very warm. My husband ordered the fried egg burger which he devoured, and a side of onion rings which were also just okay.
