Came in for a requested smog on vehicle as it was due by DMV and was met with a nice man who very promptly took the vehicle from me. The problem I ran into was when time for payment was due. Online they advertise as the cheapest price in Riverside at $39.95, but the man tried to charge me an additional $17. He then tried to argue that the online price has to be mentioned at the start of service to be honored. Why? Is the online service substandard then?? I was firm on the business honoring the advertised price, which ultimately he did, but how many other customers were cowed into accepting the higher price with this type of attitude?
