Way overpriced, yes I know, it's even worse through doordash, but we were craving their food. Sadly they royally f'ed up our order. I received a burger with spicy fries (not the garlic fries I ordered) and unfortunately I'm allergic to whatever this spice is they put on the fries instead, so those went directly in the trash. What about the reuben, you ask? Wouldn't know. They didnt give us that sandwich AT ALL. How do you forget an entire meal? So basically I paid $70+ for one burger. And doordash would only give me back $55 of it. So thanks for nothing McGraths. We wont ever be ordering from you again.

All the ingredients were fresh and the quality of the burger was on top compared to other fat good burgers. I love the fries here because they are the skinny fries which ensures that are crispy.. tried the Scorching hot this time and to honest was not too impressed.. it was an oily sauce that didn't have much flavor and was between mild and medium on the heat scale.. The best spicy fries that Smashburger had was the ones they had in Houston texas a few years ago.. the fries were coated with a dry salty seasoning which really made the fries pop out, when compared to the oily ones they have now.... Back to my burger match.. Smashburger clearly wins when it comes to the burger itself.... Compared to the plain dry burger I had at Freddy's. Highly recommend if you are looking for a juicy burger and you want something a little better than the standard fast food places like Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, etc ...

We found the cafe on yelp and we were impressed. We arrived and the place was very nice. Wonderful sports bar vibe. TV's and a nice bar However, not only was the atmosphere boring; the service was scarce. The waitress was nice. But she was more interested in having conversation with the guy at the bar. Serving us. I'm normally not big on giving reviews. But something is off here. Maybe the manager needs to be on duty. But it was obvious that we were not really a priority. We had a party of 4. We initially got the food for the first 2 people first. Then about 10 minutes later the other food came out. We ordered cheap stuff on the menu because initially we got a bad vibe. Like we didn't want to spend $17 on a meal when it seemed like it might not be worth it I'm glad we went cheap.... But maybe not. Our bill for for 4 people with one appetizer and 4 mediocre apps was $98. I can't honestly recommend anyone going here until they get up to par. And also the waitress didn't charge me for a beer and 2 drinks and a fry. I honestly think she saw the bill at over a hundred dollars and maybe was like " let my back some things off to make it under $100." I can't obviously confirm this. Honestly, if you want a beer or a drink; definitely stop through. But if you want to eat and have a family meal; don't go here The waitress was nice but barely checked on us because she was busy having conversations with the people at the bar. Not impressed and won't go here again. Unless I want a drink This place has potential. They just need someone on duty that can guide them. It was obvious that was the missing part. They have tons of potential.

It's in the same group of buildings such as Michael's (around the corner). My visit here was on October 27, 2025. The outside view of the business is simple, but effective. They have a specials chalkboard next to the entrance. Parking wasn't an issue on this visit, but I'm sure it can fill up at busier times. My mom and I were both in the area as she wanted to go to the Michael's store here. When we came inside, it wasn't busy, as it was around 3:30 pm when we got here. We were greeted by the one who would be our server for this visit. He gave us menus to look at and asked us for our drink orders. I generally stick with water with lemon, which I did here. We were there during the time where it was still the lunch menu (though for us, it was more like dinner for us that day). When he came back with the drinks, he asked if we were ready to order, but we weren't just yet. He also asked if we had any questions about the menu and options and gave us more time to mull over the menu. When he came back, we weren't completely ready, but asked a question about the specials of the day. After that, we knew what we would get and placed our food order. My mom ordered the Meatloaf Lunch Special with mashed potatoes and spinach. I went with the Meatball Sub Lunch Special with mashed potatoes, though I don't normally do potatoes that often. After about ten minutes or so, the food came to the table. The food looked really good, and it was hot too. The bread for the Meatball Sub was very soft and easy to eat. The meatballs were huge and made for a worthy meal. The mashed potatoes with gravy was really good and fulfilling too. My mom loved the meatloaf, and their meatloaf doesn't have ketchup on it like some other places do. She loved the meatloaf, spinach, and mashed potatoes too. After we were done, he asked if we wanted any desserts. We both declined as I normally don't do them anymore. Overall, we both had an excellent experience here. The food and service were on point. The food I had that day did spike my blood sugars, but I expected that with bread and mashed potatoes. I don't make a habit of that though. They are a great local business. There are lots of food options to choose from. If you are looking for a place to eat while in this part of Chesapeake, this place is worth coming to.
