I was really hoping for something here, since I live so close. I have back issues due to my work…read moreand after a pretty bad night, I was hoping to schedule a massage and get relaxed, as my back was a seized bundle of nerves. Unfortunately I never got to the massage, since the office gave me the runaround. I called in to schedule a 30 min Swedish massage and was told that the first available appointment was at 11am. I confirmed that 11am was a good time for me and gave all of my info to the receptionist, confirming again that my appointment was at 11am. Not ten minutes after I got off the phone did I get a call back from the office, saying that the massage therapist had a conflict and would I be able to reschedule my massage to 2pm? A little irked since my day was now thrown out of whack, I agreed, figuring that at least I'd get a little relief from my terrible back pain. Again I confirmed that the new time was 2pm. Just 5 minutes ago I received another phone call from said office telling me that now the therapist would not be able to come in at all and I'd need to reschedule my appointment for another day. That was enough for me. I even asked if they had someone else available and said that this was the only therapist scheduled...Well what, are you closing your whole business for the day then? Unfortunately they have lost my business for good now. I was hoping to establish a relationship with that office due to the good reviews here and the convenience of the location. If you can't keep your story strait and you want to give me the run around, you aren't getting a second chance. If this office truly only has one therapist a day, the receptionists should make sure that they know that one person's schedule to the letter to better facilitate clients. In the end all I get is a negative yelp review to write and a bottle of ibuprofen to try and settle this back pain.

Well, surprised that the owner would even respond in such an immature manner. I suggest you take…read morethis second updated response as a lesson on how to accept criticism. Clearly your ego is inflated from all the other clients you have. What works for them may not work for everyone. You should be ashamed of responding to an honest review as if you're being attacked like a child. First of all why would anyone be jealous? Comical actually. What does jealousy have to do with providing an underwhelming service. I purchased this service as a gift and am a more than capable of conveying the message for my partner. We assumed based on other reviews you would be a good fit. I have the free will to express that you indeed were not a good fit. Clearly by your attitude you have some inner work you need to focus on. Sometimes experience doesn't necessarily mean quality. Yes you have knowledge, skills even, but maybe they are outdated. Maybe you should ask how strong of a massage someone wants. Especially if someone is physically active they may require a stronger more firm massage. Maybe your body is tired and you try to get away with doing the bare minimum. Whatever the case I suggest you clean up your cluttered office space, and adjust your attitude. Consider me your karma. I would give you zero stars if I could. This is not some random person. We have an actual receipt of purchase. Hope you have a the day you deserve.

Since it had been a long time since I've had a massage, I made an appointment with Kathleen for an 80 minute session based on her glowing reviews. She has an easygoing personality and made me feel comfortable from the get-go. Kathleen explained the different massage techniques that she uses and after asking which areas of my body I wanted her to focus on, she went straight to work on my muscles, customizing along the way. Kathleen indicated where my trigger points were and told me that if they're not taken care of early on, they can take root and spread. That certainly explained why my body felt like it slowly turning into stone. By the end of the session, I had completely melted into the massage table and was able to move my neck and shoulders freely again. Needless to say, I booked another appointment right away! I recommend that you do the same!

I've met with several different therapist at the office and they were all good. My boyfriend actually recommended that I request for KiKi. She was his favorite. I did and the rest was history. I ONLY booked with KiKi from that day on! Her firm and meticulous strokes would have been enough to win me over, but she also takes the extra steps in creating ambient lighting (pillow case over an x-ray film light box...so creative!), playing soothing music from her phone, and warming the oil she uses. This is all at a sterile, fluorescent-lit doctor's office! I knew that if she paid that much attention to the details in a medical environment where it wasn't necessary, she'd be mind blowing in her own healing space. I've had many massages in my life and I like deep pressure, but what feels good may not necessarily be what is good for the body. In some cases it can even cause more harm. Having a massage therapist that knows how work out the kinks and also has a medical understanding of the body is crucial. I don't think I understood that before meeting KiKi. Love her! Highly recommend her!
