Amazing massage that was tailored to exactly what I needed most. Very professional and beautiful ambiance. Will be returning!

Danny was the best, knowledgeable and kind, when I came to him I could barely stand up straight but by the end of the session I was moving comfortably again. The office is very relaxing and warm. Definitely will be back read more

The Google reviews were astounding for this business, but the prices are not competitive. Expect to pay close to double than other businesses in the area. I was a bit reluctant to book but decided to based upon the reviews. Booking: You book online and pay for the service you desire in advance. He has a cancellation policy so be sure to read it. The day before my appointment I received a waiver, covid assessment and questionnaire to complete which helped him to asses what areas he should focus on etc. I was looking for a place where I could have an all over deep tissue massage with focus on the lower back. This was first time visiting and my first time having a professional massage by a man. He is the only person doing the massages. The setting is a house setting. You walk into the room which looks like a living room / massage room. Parking is street parking (no fee) and I can tell it can be difficult finding parking. The street is tight (one way), but I lucked out as someone was leaving as I was searching for a spot. I arrived ten minutes early, and was taken in immediately. Covid protocols were taken seriously. He wore a mask and a face guard. I was able to remove my mask for the massage. He also checked my temperature right after I walked in, and I used the hand sanitizer to clean my hands before and after services were rendered. The setting made me a little uncomfortable as you disrobe in the living room / massage room. He walks out, closes what looks to be a divider door, and ask that you let him know when ready. I have had massages before and had to undress in the massage room but it felt different. I felt like I was undressing openly in someone's living room. It was 90 degrees as the high the day of my massage. There was a fan and possibly a humidifier running, and im sure the air conditioning was on, but I was perspiring when I first walked in through the first ten minutes after disrobing. I asked for water before disrobing and he politely obliged. I began to cool off shortly after. He used a cupping technique in relation to the therapeutic massage. The cupping movement over sore muscles felt amazing. The massage without it also felt great. I was hoping for relief in my lower back area, and did not get this from the massage. It might have not been anything to do with the services he provided it may be related to the fact that I train 5/6 days a week, have not been getting massages as recommended, and it may be time for another chiropractic visit. Overall I plan to return, he was very professional, and the fact that I have always requested a male for my massage before didn't make me feel uncomfortable with the services I received today. read more

I just experienced my first massage with Danny and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. The space is clean, relaxing and welcoming. Danny listened to my areas of concern and really focused on them. He also offered some home exercises that may help with my pain. I will definitely book another session with him. read more

5 stars is NOT ENOUGH!!! I'm a hair stylist working 10 hours 5 days a week and I recently had a baby so my body was worn out. I had pain all over my back, shoulders and neck so bad I couldn't sleep. I'm so happy I made an appointment. Danny is just delightful! So welcoming, and really listens to what you say to him. He makes personable conversation and tries to get to know you, I love that. You walk in and you get a sense of calmness, so clean, neat and tidy. Even cubbies to store your items! Oh, and blackout curtains! (Love those) Danny's touch is just enough to relieve the pressure without hurting. He assessed every muscle that was tight (even the ones that I didn't know were!) He was so detailed and thoughtful about every movement he made. It was such a calming massage that I even fell asleep at one point. The cupping and the hot stones were a great addition! By the time it was over I didn't even want to get up from the table! I left feeling brand new! No more shoulder or back ache despite the huge knots that I had. I'm definitely going to get more into self care and book another appointment. If you're hesitant about booking an appointment, DON'T be. You won't be disappointed! read more

I cannot recommend Danny's massage work more! If you have any need, please give it a try! I came here with a chronic shoulder issue from poor posture that I've been going to Physical Therapy for. Danny was able to give me such an incredible tailored and focused massage that opened up my shoulder and back so perfectly. It was really clear throughout that he was responding to each muscle's need and tension, and adjusting as he went to focus where I needed it most. I haven't felt this good in years--honestly I can't remember the last time my back was so neutral that I wasn't aware of some kind of pain, tension, or discomfort. Really glad to be in the same neighborhood; I don't think there is any other space here focused on therapeutic massage like Danny. Thank you! (Also had cupping done with Danny; a really great experience.) read more

Danny is extremely competent at what he does. He listens and bases the treatment(s) on his expertise, talent, and what has been conveyed by the client. Prior to receiving his service, I'd been looking for a good therapist for months, and was fortunately referred to him by another client. I absolutely recommend Danny, if you are looking for a great Massage Therapist. read more

This was my First session and it was amazing! Time went by too fast lol but it was soooooo relaxing and quiet! I definitely recommend and will be coming back for sure. -Lissette read more

Danny is a great massage therapist. I saw him for myo-fascial release. I've seen a lot of different body workers over the years for old and new sports injuries so I have specific standards for what I need and he delivers. He listens carefully to make sure he is addressing where you are in pain and engages actively to make sure the work is effective. He understands the body, how it moves and becomes dysfunctional. He's also got a nice massage studio space and a good calming music playlist. read more

I woke up with a giant knot in my back and was looking for a massage near my apartment and found Renew Therapeutic Massage. I was able to book a same day appointment and got a GREAT massage. He worked through the knot while also left me totally relaxed. His location is on a quiet side street and is very clean and relaxing. I definitely recommend booking a massage with Danny and will be back. read more

He was awesome. The bulbs he used were magnificent. I had a lot of knots and stress in my legs and shoulders. He definitely helped get some healthy circulation in there. The place was tidy, very calm setting, and he was very professional. He accepts all forms of payment, even cashapp, Zelle, but cash is King! Definitely need to come back for another visit. read more

I'm a chronic migraine sufferer and have been getting therapeutic massage therapy for a long time now. I just moved to NY, so I was looking for a massage therapist to keep up with my appointments since relocating. I found Danny through Yelp and noticed he had some amazing reviews so I decided to give it a try! The massage area is very clean, relaxing, and professional. Danny is so friendly and asks you questions about your problem areas to make sure he's targeting the right places. He does custom massages tailored to where you need it the most! The entire massage experience was absolutely amazing. He targeted all the areas that hurt the most. He even did some cupping, which was something I was hoping he'd do given I've gotten them before. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to find another therapist to do my massages but I'm so happy I found Danny. If you're looking to get therapeutic massage (either for physical pain or just need to relax) I HIGHLY recommend Danny. I'll be scheduling another appointment soon! read more

First visit and I can't wait to return. Very clean, very relaxing environment. Had an incredible massage with Danny. Was suffering from a headache and almost cancelled. By the time the massage was over, the headache was gone. I felt completely relaxed and comfortable. Very professional full body massage and Danny worked on stressful areas that needed attention. Left feeling rejuvenated, aligned and relaxed. Thank you Danny, see you soon. read more

Danny is out of this world! Literally best hour of my life!! I just got back from a physically intense vacation and Danny used expert skill to massage (including cupping!) me back to life! It was magical and I can't wait to incorporate into a monthly self-care regimen. I will 100% be back and highly recommend to all. read more

I'm new to Brooklyn and have been on a hunt for a good massage therapist who does cupping. The last cupping experience I had was with my chiropractor (that should have been my red flag) and the cups kept flying off and did nothing. I found Danny on Yelp and his reviews do not do him justice! He is probably one of the best massage therapists I've seen (I've seen a lot) AND he includes cupping in the massage for FREE. That was insane to me and I even confirmed several times when booking that I wasn't going to get charged extra. He was great and the next day I woke up feeling like a completely different person. I will definitely be seeing him regularly. He's location is in a quiet area and the room is clean. He also follows all proper covid protocols and even does all transactions online to limit contact outside of the massage. I would strongly recommend to anyone with body aches or if you're simply wanting to treat yourself. Danny is the best! read more

Renew Therapeutic Massage - Cupping - Massage Therapy Near Me - Ridgewood, New York

The first time I visited Danny was a little over two years ago. I had issues with my lower back, particularly after starting CrossFit and was learning the proper ways to lift. I have to say it was one of the best massages I've received in my life. I decided for my 33rd birthday this year, it was time to go back (and make it a point to put less time between visits). Boy, was this a phenomenal experience, and as no surprise. Danny asked me what bothered me, and I shared that my left shoulder felt tense, my right side under my arm felt sore, and my left leg is prone to Charley Horses at night. When I say he individualized each of those areas, I am telling you I immediately feel a positice difference in my mobility. Plus it shows what a great active listener he is, and I appreciate that greatly. Do yourselves a favor: book 90 minutes with him. If you're as stressed as I am, consider hot stones and/or cupping. I did both today and I will certainly be back again soon to see him. Thank you, Danny! :) read more

AMAZING work, I left feeling like I was floating! I booked an appointment online and there's an easy online client intake form. Danny is courteous, precise, professional and his combination of massage techniques felt more informed than any massage I've ever had. Hot stones, my first time with the cupping and then deep tissue, all tailored to my specific pain areas. I told all my friends and I can't wait to book another appointment! read more

I just had my first massage with Danny and it was great. Danny was very welcoming to me and was very attentive to what I asked for. I definitely felt my tension and even some energetic blocks leaving me during the session. I went into a deep relaxation.. was in another dimension for a bit. I felt much lighter leaving. I would recommend! Thank you! read more

Outstanding massage!! Very professional and experienced. Methodically works different areas of the body with focus and precision. I've had many massages over the years, and this therapist is one of the best. Highly recommended. read more

Danny is great - professional and thorough. I am ecstatic to have found a practitioner that I want to keep coming back to. The space is clean, safe, and warm. I felt very comfortable. I came to address neck shoulder pain and stiffness. I had a 90 min massage with cupping. I definitely feel better than before. read more

Danny was wonderful -- WOW! The massage room was very clean, nice and relaxing. He definitely made me feel amazing and provided one of the best massages! Booking an appointment online was extremely easy as well. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone looking to get a great massage. read more

Wow. Wowowow. Danny is an actual superhero. I am new to the world of massage, despite having a fairly physical career, and so I didn't really know what to expect. I loved that I was asked to fill out a consultation sheet with all of my issues/injuries/massage hopes & dreams prior to coming in, and was appreciative when it was clear that Danny not only read it, but thought about what work might be most beneficial to me that day. It was lovely sitting and chatting with Danny both before and after the massage -- he is extremely knowledgable in his field, and was able to not only prepare me for what I was about to experience but to give me some ideas about how to take care of myself in between visits. The massage itself was awesome. I'd never experienced hot stones or cupping before, and I am so glad he used them. After checking that I didn't have to run out right after my time ended, Danny went over time at least an extra 20 minutes (maybe more? I don't know I was a pile of mush). I left feeling like a bowl of jello, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I waited a bit before writing this review because I wanted to see how I felt a few weeks later, and honestly, I'm still amazing. I even had a trainer at my gym point out that he saw a massive change in my neck and shoulders since I was no longer holding all of my tension there. I will DEFINITELY be back. Thanks so much, Danny! read more

As a first-timer, I was very satisfied with Danny's professsionalism and patience. I may not have a frame of reference, but 24 hours later I still feel great! It's been a few visits, and Danny has helped me out not only in relaxation but more recently as relief from some pulled and sore muscles. Danny understood how I overextended myself, and his targeted treatment had me feeling better than expected when I woke up the next day. Would recommend for sports pain too! read more

I had my first massage at Renew about a month ago and Danny did an amazing job! I made the appointment because I was having some major pain in my neck and shoulder that was making it hard to sleep. Happy to say I've been pain free since Danny's treatment. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Danny is incredible. Just had my first session and it was everything promised in previous reviews. The location is quiet and the time flew by. Cant wait for my next visit! read more

I've been a caretaker for my mom for the last few months - having left my home in CT to be with her. I regularly get massages for my stress which I carry in my neck, head and shoulders - as I also own my own business and work on the computer all day. Bottom line - Danny was a godsend. I have had many professional massages, and I rank Danny with the best. He is very intuitive, and knew exactly what my body and spirit needed. He used a variety of techniques, moving from one to the next seemlessly, and moving from one area on my body to the next, almost as if he could read my mind! His space is beautiful - a reflection of his soul. Clean, airy, with a zen feel to it that is very calming. I truly felt nurtured and cared for by Danny. I will definitely return. read more

I would highly recommend Danny. You can tell that he is a skilled massage therapist

I went in for chronic pain relief. And, sincerely I had little faith it would work. Danny is a professional, very well prepared and extremely knowledgeable in his field and related ones. He pays attention to the client, makes you feel at ease in a very clean and well designed room. He tailored the massage to my needs, leaving me very relaxed and relieved, and ready to go back. Please don't hesitate to book asap, you won't be disappointed. Best, J Navas read more

Danny is AMAZING. I am a competitive bodybuilding that came in with a super tight aductor issue. Danny was amazing! He was intuitive, and truly cares about giving a great massage and making you feel good. I've been going to Danny for 2 years now, and this review was long overdue. But I can honestly say he's yet to disappoint. A pond meeting Danny, immediately you feel like you're in good hands. Danny's studio is clean airy and peaceful. His sessions are gentle, yet extremely affective. He truly has a gift for releasing tension from your body. Also he does cupping; if he feels your body is in need. ***No additional charge. Each massage is personalized to what your body needs. He works with different massaging tools that I've never seen and it feels amazing! His massaging table has a heating pad so your entire body is super cozy, and the head pillow smells of lavender. oh and his oils aren't greasy nor stinky. And at the end of every massage he does what feels like a reiki session that leave me feeling restore physically and emotionally. Thanks Danny! JRG mommy of 3 read more

I woke up one morning with such a stuff neck and upper back that I could hardly move. With no childcare, on a Sunday morning, I was in dire need of some help! Danny welcomed me and my 2year old son into his home. He whisked me into the massage room, and with such a gentle spirit he got my son set up watching cartoons on Danny's netflix! The massage itself was great and his home studio is lovely. But I gotta say, his generosity and kindness to a stranger was really so wonderful and healing for this weary soul! And my son didn't want to leave ;) read more
