    Biscuit and Gravy Omelette

Super cute spot, feels like Denny's but a lil homey-er. Had the biscuits and gravy stuffed omelette and lawddd it was tasty, true innovation lol. Our server was such a sweetheart, everything came out fast, I'd just recc skipping it substituting the fruit mix as bits in mine were not ripe, the omelette just left me so full it wasn't even worth sending back.

First time here with my family, and it was delicious. Nice quick stop while we were traveling JoJo our server was great. Their pancakes were so fluffy and tasty and my mom enjoyed her burger. The ambiance is like am average restaurant with some music playing. They also take military discount so that was a plus. Would definitely come back.

Flying J lost their huddle House not surprised So come over here to Jimmy's for some breakfast 12/1/23

#80/2023 Jimmy's Egg originally began in 1980 as a 41 yo Vietnam refugee living in Oklahoma city after doing other jobs decided to venture into restaurant business. Jimmy's Egg was founded. The original location is no longer there there are numerous locations all around their home base of Oklahoma City. Franchisees have partnered up and expanded with a strong presence now in Texas Omaha Nebraska they used to be in Lincoln but the franchise he pulled out and they're no longer there. Springfield and Joplin Missouri Southwest Missouri area Northwest Arkansas Springdale no longer in the Kansas City area where they were franchisee once again pulled out however they are very strong presence in the Wichita and North Joplin area. Open daily from 6:00 to 2:00 at almost every location 7 days a week holidays excluded. They are your classic breakfast Cafe Some have very strong favorable reviews some don't but when you have over 60 locations like any that really a chain but numerous location expansion it's going to happen. This location and Ardmore sits right there off of the interstate ironically across from an IHOP that is not that great and also the fact that the motel if you don't hang out there at night you're not too bad LOL. They do have truck parking for guests. I came in waiting on a load and walked in I was greeted immediately. I sat down ordered up some coffee Took a look at the menu and ordered the Classic combo which consists of two eggs two meats two sides and toast. I got my eggs over easy. My two side choices were the ham and sausage links. Great home fries very nice and freshly cooked on the grill and white toast. Food came out quite promptly tasted very good I had no issues at all contrary to some reviews and my experience was very good if I'm stuck in Ardmore again this will definitely be a place where I will return again for breakfast. On the side note I'm a great link from The Oklahoman news paper with article one can look up Which tells a little bit about the history and this was before the massive expansion and franchisee options throughout those who are interested. It's very interesting what this Vietnamese refugee built and continued working hard until his death from coronavirus in 2020. However the family still keeps the tradition going that he began In fact Jimmy's Egg is now going to be opening a location in Tyler Texas. Still expanding with a partnership of a Texas food group that have successfully opened many locations in the lone Star State. For those that want to read about the history of this really nice cafe and the Vietnamese immigrant who founded it and his story https://www.oklahoman.com/story/entertainment/columns/dave-cathey/2020/12/16/jimmys-egg-pioneer-lived-a-life-that-offers-a-beacon-during-these-dark-times/316735007/

If you're looking for a great diner style breakfast this is the spot. We came on a weekday morning and sat at the bar. We had fantastic service, and we were checked on multiple times throughout our meal. I tried a biscuit dish covered with sausage gravy, bacon, and sausage. It also came with a side of eggs and crispy hash browns. It was a huge serving and was a very hearty breakfast.

Fast service, good waitress, very friendly, good food, good prices. Overall great experience. (I got the "almost healthy skillet" which actually tasted pretty healthy and the potatoes in it were delicious, he got the famous pancake meal or something like that with cinnamon pancakes that were pretty big each and yummy)

Just off the interstate and worth the stop. It was noon on a Friday when my son and I stopped, no wait but steady business. They have bottomless coffee which is fantastic! My kid got the classic combo, 2 eggs cooked to order, 2 meats and 2 sides. I got the keto bowl and it was amazing, go with the potk carnitas. The server was prompt, friendly and fast on the coffee refills. Now isn't that better than knowing if there are gender neutral restrooms?

    Welcome

Very good breakfast. Waitress did a great job. I had 2 biscuits, sausage , bacon and eggs over easy, with s bowl of fruit. How can you go wrong with that ? Correct , you can't !! I must say that the restaurant was very clean an it was a pleasure starting off my long day there. Thank you, I will be back. When in Ardmore, Ok , give them a try Go get Full

It was a cool, Sunday morning and finally decided to stop and try this little place out. Let me…read moretell you that the parking lot was full as well as the waiting lobby. They told me it would be about a 10 minute wait and that was about what i waited before being seating. I knew by the way this place was packed and people willing to wait, that it must be worth it. I was not disappointed. As soon as i was seated i was greeted by my server and ordered a coffee and a Dr. Pepper. This gave me a couple of minutes to look over the menu. Before i knew it, in the blink of an eye and before i could scan over the forst page of the menu, the server was back woth my coffee and drink. While sipping on my coffee i browsed the menu and found what inwanted for breafast. Which by they way, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered the double (see pic of menu for desription) As i watched the room noticing that as soon as a party left the bus boys were on the table quickly to clean and turn it over and the hostess already had the next group ready to be seated. This explained while the wait wasnt as long as expected as they turn over tables quickly. The next thing is knew, my food was at the table, hot and fresh. The food didn't disappoint either as it was all cooked perfectly and had good flavor. My server checked on me as what I consider perfect timing and the right amount of times where you are not bothered but dont have to look around for a refill or assistance. All in all, this place was a quaint little country kitchen, with excellent service and food. They are well staffed to handle the crowds with ease and plenty of cooks to get your food out in a timely and fresh n hot manner. Awesome place.

There were lots of waitresses in there with t-shirts on with Phil's face on them. I guess it was his birthday and they surprised him. It was good to see that they all love him. This is an old cafe. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but pretty expected since we were in a cafe. You could tell there were lots of locals in there. My mom got the blueberry short stack. She said they were great. Came out with three pancakes that had the blueberries cooked inside and on top. Pancakes were the size of a plate. They filled her up and she couldn't eat them all. My dad and husband got regular breakfast items. Toast, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. It all looked good and they ate all of it. I had the chicken fry with white gravy, 2 eggs, grits, and hash browns. All of my food was good. I was a bit disappointed in the gravy because it didn't seem homemade. Hash browns and eggs cooked perfectly. Grits were hot. No special flavors. Sorry I forgot to take photos.

My brother ordered the Sirloin Steak Tips & Eggs $20.15 which consist of Sirloin steak tips* with grilled onions & mushrooms. Served with 2 eggs* your way, golden hash browns & 2 fluffy buttermilk pancakes. I had the Spicy Poblano Omelette $18.10 which is stuffed with fire roasted Poblano peppers, red bell peppers & onions, shredded beef, Jack & Cheddar cheese blend, fresh avocado, Poblano cream & chopped Serrano peppers which I opted to leave the Serrano peppers. Our food was prepared to our specifications and very delicious. Both Ms. Kayleigh(sp),and Ms. Ariel were awesome, and did a fantastic job. I also noticed that Ms. Kayleigh(sp), was also a server. I will start by saying the facilities are very nice but that's pretty much where the positives end. The service was slow, the table side guacamole tasted good but it took so long for our server to make it that our dinner was served immediately after she finished making the guacamole. The food was meh, not horrible but nothing to write home about. Also, it was not served as we ordered it, chicken taco and beef enchilada with red sauce when we ordered a beef taco and chicken enchilada with verde sauce and our daughter ordered her burrito with no cheese sauce and it came out smothered. The margaritas were fair but would have been better if they had been served right after they were made; my fiancé had to go find and retrieve them after they had been sitting on the bar for a while. All-in-all, If you're in the mood for Mexican food, I'd say skip this place and try somewhere else.

Husband had the Burrito Norteno (pork) with tomatillo sauce. I had the shrimp brochette. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The guacamole that came with the shrimp was so delicious. I typically don't care about guacamole but I ate every bite. La Ambiciosa margarita was a bit strong but not to the taste. Careful not to order a second too soon!
