We are from San Antonio and was driving through town wanted a fried pie so we dropped this place that my wife recommended. The people are friendly the pies are fabulous they have great flavor they have sugar free fruit they have meats a great variety to choose from. Don't drive and pie at the same time they will fall apart and you'll crash.. lol In all honesty they are actually very delicious and they cook them fresh you can't get any better great job Y'all.

Love stopping at this place whenever driving on the way home. There's always a line most times it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the counter. Love the pineapple fried pie. Just wondering when we're going to be in the area again

We decided to stop by here on the way to Dallas to try some fried pies. I've always driven by this place but never stopped and I'm so glad I did today. We decided to try the blueberry and chocolate peanut better cream pies. I got the Burberry. It was. A hard choice of which pie to try, as they all look fantastic. The crust was so good and the filling ratio was perfect. My boyfriend got the chocolate peanut butter cream fried pie and thought it was good, but had a large amount of filling. He ate it all though. Granted we did feel pretty full and heavy after eating them, but it was an enjoyable experience for us! The crust was flakey and not too oily. The service was prompt and the worker told me the top flavors people were buying. Blueberry was not on her list, but I tried that one anyways. The inside was clean and there are many tables to chose from

The fruit pies are ready as soon as you order them, but the savory pies take approximately 10 minutes because they make them to order. The stop is warm and cozy with a mountain inn ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They all seem to enjoy their job.

The atmosphere is charming kind of like a cozy campsite vibe inside. The bathrooms were fairly clean, nothing remarkable but decent enough. As for the fried pies, I don't have much to compare them to since I haven't tried many elsewhere. They were okay, not amazing, but not bad either. I personally didn't enjoy the crust and ended up leaving it on all of the pies. Since they're fried, they're definitely rich and very filling. Service was good overall. Our savory pies took about 10 minutes to come out, while the sweet ones seemed to be premade and ready to go.

The fried pies, both sweet and savory, are AMAZING! The coconut cream is dream worthy! The chicken and vegetables had so much flavor and wow. It was a tad busy but they are quick and efficient on getting things out quickly. Loved the souvenir cups too! Prices are fair and the eat in area was clean. The only issue was the lady taking our order was super rude. She snapped at my daughter because she tried to take her pie when she sat it down on the counter. I did not appreciate her tone and for no reason really. Had it not been for her it would have been a perfect stop.

This place is awesome. Their friend pies are so good. Got the Tex-Mex and a pecan. Both were delicious and easy to eat while I drove.

Omg what a sweet sweet surprise off of the highway! Definitely a must have if you are driving on this highway. I got the chocolate pie and the blackberry pie and both were perfectly sweet and the dough was so fresh and cooked to the perfect crisp! This is a mandatory stop for me now.

This is a yearly stop when taking our kiddos to summer camp! The service is fast, friendly, and the pies are fried perfectly. This time I also tried a broccoli and chicken fried pie because I really wanted something savory! Safe to say it did not disappoint. Make sure to stop in when passing through. You'll be glad you did!

Looking for a quick lunch on our way to Natchitoches, we stopped at Arbuckle Fried Pies just off of I-35 near Davis, OK. We both ordered chicken and vegetable pies. Savory pies are made to order, which takes around 8 minutes. They come out piping hot and require a few minutes before you can comfortably enjoy the pies. You order at the counter and select the table of your choice. There is ample seating. The venue is very casual and dinner ware is disposable. The chicken and vegetable pies were very tasty. The flavor is very much like that of chicken pot pie. We were both happy with our choice and enjoyed lunch. It was quick, easy, and good.

Tasty! Simple and delicious but not fancy. These fried pies are so wonderful - both fruit and savory are always so good!! We've been faithful customers forever- since the original gas station location in Ardmore. Favorites are the coconut cream, pineapple and cherry, but we've never had anything that's not tasty. Be prepared to wait in line to place your order, but it doesn't take long. These dedicated people are efficient and will help you decide on how many you need to bring home! Always a favorite stop to or from OKC to Texas.

Amber's Sweet Shoppe - The 1st cake is what Amber made! The 2nd cake is what it was suppose to look like!

So, I ordered a Birthday cake from Amber's Sweet Shoppe in Ada,OK for Ally's 9th Birthday party. I…read moresent her a design over Facebook Messenger (thats the only way she wanted to do a business deal). Her FB has a 4.9 stars, I thought that was pretty impressive so I gave her a shot. I want everyone to know the HORRIBLE experience I had with this woman! She told me the design I wanted for a quarter sheet would be $65 and a $25 deposit. I was fine with that. So I gave her my credit card info and told her to charge the $25. I asked her TWO times, "Are you sure you can make this design?" Her response, "Yes, no problem!" I went in on Friday to pick up the cake and I about had a heart attack! She came out of the back and actually snapped at me and said, "Whats wrong with your cake?" I said, "Why is the gymnast a little stick person and why does the cake have holes all in it like its melted?!" She said, "You are the one that wanted Buttercream, thats what you get!" I told her she better fix it and her response was, "I have other cakes orders, so I wont have it ready until 4:30." 30mins before my daughters Birthday Party and I am staying out in Vanoss! I left, got halfway down the road and called her because I was thinking...thats not my problem she took on a job that she couldnt perform and didnt get it right the first time, so how was he going to actually fix it? I told her I wanted my deposit back because she didn't make me the cake I was suppose to have. She said, "Nope and the reason the cake had holes in was because I was an hour late to pickup the cake(I called at 2pm to tell them I would be there within the hour) and it had been sitting out in the heat and Buttercream isn't perfect." I checked my email and I never told her to use Buttercream. I sent a design of a cake and it was in Fondant. So, why was she blaming me for using Buttercream? Why was she blaming me for the cake melting in the heat when she should of put it in the refrigerator? Why was she blaming me for her mistakes? Why was she ruining my daughters Birthday party that we flew 1,600 miles for to celebrate with friends and family? Why was I being treated this way?!?! All I did was order a cake that she said she could make!! I ran to Walmart and they were so amazing! The girl in the bakery, I believe her name was Corrine, whipped me up a Gymnastics cake for Ally in 20mins! They honestly saved her Birthday. I will attach the picture of the cake, and they used Buttercream and it was perfect! Later on I checked my credit card and Amber Walker had keyed in my credit card info and charged me the remaining $46.10 for the cake I never received. I confronted her about it and she said not to contact her again. She charged me $71.10 for a cake I never got. After my experience, I no longer believe that her almost perfect FB page is legit. She even blocked me so I couldn't make a review. Im starting to the think thats what she does to her unhappy customer so nobody knows what they go through.

Definitely cannot recommend this place for ordering cakes. Though prices are on the high side, I…read moretook a chance and made an order 5 days before the birthday party. I paid upfront and agreed on a time and day of pickup. I tried calling the day before to confirm the time of pickup for the next day but nobody answered. On pick-up day, 15 minutes before pickup time I got a call from them telling me that the cake wasn't ready. Upon enquiring, they hadn't even begun with my order and they said it might be another 2-3 hours for it to be ready. I requested a refund (which they did give back right away) and vowed to never EVER go back there. It is one thing to charge expensive prices but being pricey on top of an utter lack of professionalism is unacceptable on so many levels. They really don't have a clue on customer service and they didn't seem that apologetic either. Even if their cakes are semi-decent, never ever again!
