After reading for other reviews, decided to try it out. The burger of the week : chicken with avocado sandwich was good. But I wished the chicken was chicken breast and not ground chicken. However the chicken was cooked perfect with moistness and a slight herbal flavor like rosemary. The seating was comfortable and air conditioned. One could sit inside or outside on the patio. Because the patio faces North you don't get direct sunlight. So outdoor seating is good for most times of the year for lunch. The price is quite reasonable for fresh cooked burgers and sandwiches. Fries were a little on the high side for a small pile : $2. To access the location as a visitor one has to enter from the North/Northwest side of the Arris building, which is next to a Google building.

New lunch option in the area for those that work around Sorrento Valley area. Great daily specials including hot dishes, salads and grilled sandwich and burger options. this place does not get that crowded like Sorrento food court with the Qualcomm crowd which is a plus. I usually go the food truck route for convenience but this place is close to the office and actually cheaper than the food truck options in a lot of cases. I've been here twice last week since i was i was told about the place and I can see myself being a regular here. I haven't had the chance to try their Stumptown coffee but I'm sure I will. Check em out and let me know what you think.

Jimmys is a quick walk from my place of business so it scores high in the convenience factor! I also LOVE the staff here - they're so nice and friendly and love talking to you about your day. I really enjoy the atmosphere - a great place to catch up and catch a break from the day. There breakfast and lunch services are awesome and they offer a great variety for a quick bite to eat, including build your own omelets like I got this AM. Prices are ok, a little high on certain items unless you work on campus.

Their sandwiches are made to order and there chips are delicious!! We eat here at least 3 times a week!!

it saddens me to give out this review! I been going to Jimmys since they open, I have literally more than 20 check-ins sometimes you just forget to do it, anyhow! Service and food use to be great! Lots of options and friendly customer service! I truly believe that since their prices went up, their service and food suffered! Today we went in and ordered a burger with fries which comes out to about 10 dollars, food was ok I had better! But their customer service was so bad! The two guys prepping had major attitude, their body language was not one of a persons who likes to work with others! I literally was about to walk out! I think this will be my last time there! People used to be so friendly, they would welcome you and serviced you with a smile! Today they made me regret going in!

Food is always tasty. Food quality/quantity is great and prices are reasonable compared to the daily food truck.

This spot just gets it…read more I came through recently and was honestly excited before I even ordered food because they had a solid selection of NA mocktails. For a bar, that's not always a given, and as someone who doesn't drink as much these days, that immediately stood out to me. I grabbed a lavender leprechaun and it was super refreshing, light, and just a really nice change of pace from the usual soda-or-water options. It didn't feel like an afterthought, it actually felt intentional. For food, I went with the corned beef sandwich and it did not disappoint. Hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you'd want from a proper Irish pub. The whole place has that classic pub vibe but still feels welcoming whether you're drinking or not. That balance is rare, and I really appreciated it. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, especially knowing I've got solid non-alcoholic options to enjoy.

Stopped by The Field Irish Pub in downtown San Diego for a Guinness and a bite on St Patrick's Day,…read moreso as expected, it was absolutely packed. Despite the crowds, service was impressively fast. We grabbed seats at the bar and were taken care of right away, which was a pleasant surprise given how busy it was. Food-wise, the fish and chips were good, but not amazing--solid, but nothing to rave about. The sausage rolls, unfortunately, were a bit underwhelming for me. I was hoping for a crispier, flakier pastry, but they fell a little short in texture. One thing I really miss is the live music they used to have before Covid. It added so much to the atmosphere, and I'd love to see them bring that back. Outside of big events like St. Patrick's Day, the place can feel a bit quiet, so the music would definitely elevate the overall vibe. Overall, still a great spot for a pint and good service--especially impressive during peak crowds--but there's definitely room to bring back some of that old charm.

My favorite was the Philly cheesesteak. They were also kind enough to make a basic cheeseburger for my 5 year old, and offered free refills for soft drinks. I hate leaving questionable reviews.. but also feel when we researched places we didn't get an accurate story. This is a true neighborhood pub.. the place you come so everybody knows your name. Which I love and can appreciate. But as an outsider it was kinda chaotic instead. A bartender came to clean a table for us. The largest grossest bugger hanging out of his nose, he had sweat marks so large there was no need to lift his arms to see them. He proceeded then to do shots at the bar with costumers. Which again... I totally can appreciate having a good time in a good neighborhood pub. The floors were so dirty around the booths. The menus dirty. Just over all couldn't stay and eat here. Did get some good laughs watching a few very inebriated customers, had some good drinks and went on our way. We personally wouldn't come back, but again if you live in the neighborhood and it's just that place you come to for your hang with friends, it's looks like it's a fun place.

I would say this was probably our highlight of our trip in San Diego. Garrick, the bartender there, was super accommodating.
