Tuna "Melt"
Nicole K.

Good spot to grab a quick bite during lunch break. Unfortunately, the Tuna melt I ordered had unmelted cheese and wasn't all that warm which was very disappointing. The bison burger was decent if you have a few minutes to wait. The seating area is very modern and clean.

This week's special - grilled cheese with prosciutto and sundried tomato spread. It was yummy!

Beautiful indoor/outdoor space with lots of seating. I really love the turkey avocado panini, it's so delicious! The breakfast sandwich is also super tasty and they have weekly specials that are consistently good. The only things I'm not fond of here are the tuna melt and the pizzas. They also have some grab and go options like premade salads, sandwiches, pastries, chips, etc. They get decently busy at noon so I recommend ordering online for pickup or going in around 11:45 to order your lunch.

a variety of foods on display

Great food and coffee. Friendly staff as well. Highly recommend. The turkey avocado panini is my favorite.

Took off the 'fresh grilled chicken' because it was inedible.

The food is good quality and comes in handy when you don't bring a lunch to work. A nice place to have where you work.

The food I did get was delicious, my friends and I shared the garlic fried rice, jalapeno bacon and souffle pancakes. It was beyond delicious. Definitely would recommend anyone go here. PLANNING A BIRTHDAY HERE? READ BEFORE YOU GO!…read more I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and while the atmosphere was amazing, the experience had its downsides. The wait was TWO HOURS! After waiting 15 minutes in line on the stairs, we were told about the wait. The restaurant was also difficult to find, tucked up a staircase in a hidden area, with no designated waiting area. We had to wait near the elevator lobby until our table was ready. The food and drinks were just okay, nothing too special. However, the atmosphere was beautiful! My favorite feature was the unique glass bathroom with its unusual toilets and sinks. FINAL THOUGHTS: Beautiful ambiance, but the long wait and lack of a proper waiting area took away from the experience. If you're celebrating a birthday here, plan ahead and be prepared to wait!

Food: - Flat iron steak: delicious and super tendy with a nice crust. Came with an arugula salad - Fish of the day: today was rock fish with a creamy panang/thai sauce and it was DELICIOUS - Duck: my table's favorite dish. You can make your own tiny tacos and the macha chili was seriously the best thing ever - French fries: nice horsestring fries, cant go wrong - Tuna crudo: super light and citrusy and flavorful, but only like 5-6 pieces - Chicken skewers: this honestly fell really flat. Would not recommend, i'd say it's the worst thing on the menu and surprisingly fell short. Doesnt feel like it belongs on the menu. - Brussel Sprouts: really good and unique with a peanut butter sauce - Mac and cheese: yummy but nothing special Overall was a great experience but I'd probably only come here on special occasions. Their drinks were also fantastic - the cantaloupe was super tasty. Shoutout Ola for being the best waiter!

Staff were friendly and informative,…read moreand they do live music mostly on Fridays and Saturdays (artists are listed on their website). Tom Kha Lins ($18): The standout. A creamy blend of gin, cream of coconut, lime, lemongrass, and red chili oil. Light and refreshing, with a lightly boozy kick at the end. The sweetness builds as it sits, likely from simple syrup. Lamb Meatballs ($15, $12 during happy hour): Moist and very herbaceous, with aggressive gaminess. The tomato sauce is noticeably over-salted, and the pecorino romano gets lost behind the salt, herbs, and meat. 6/10. Paired with the Tom Kha Lins, even the cocktail's sweetness couldn't wash away the sauce's saltiness, so that pairing isn't my favorite. I Got Ube ($12): A fun, unusual take on an ube soda, made with mint syrup, lemon juice, and sparkling water. The ube hits first, then lemony notes that shift into a grape-like flavor, with lots of acid and bubbles throughout. Interesting, but not to my taste. I preferred the Tom Kha Lins. Verdict: Come for the cocktails and the laid-back atmosphere, and time it with the live music. Go easy on the salt if you order the meatballs.

Lots of seating for our group, we ordered mostly "breakfast" items. I shared a Sage Chicken & Waffle Tower - which was excellent. We didn't notice much sage in the chicken coating, but it was delicious and extra crunchy. Great waffles too, with crisp bacon baked right in. The place was quiet enough to have a conversation. Would return.

The texture and taste are all pleasurable. I had the banana pancakes, with two over well eggs, crispy bacon, with potatoes. I couldn't complete it all, I took my leftovers with me. The orange juice tastes as if it's fresh squeeze! The service was kind. The feel of this restaurant is home. I adore the restaurants that were once a house turned into a place of business. Something about it spiritually makes me feel a bit grounded into history. I love the fresh rosemary they place in the dish as well. Such a unique touch of earthy-love I'm just glad it wasn't a hour wait or longer how I was repeatedly warned. We got seats right away. Could've been due to the construction on the street near by. I'll definitely return whenever I'm in town.

Thank goodness there was room too, because wow oh wow. It has been three weeks and we keep talking about that happy hour. LOL I appreciated that their happy hour menu wasn't all snackable appetizers; there were smaller-sized dishes for those less hungry, too! I ordered the Kiwilango slider + fries, my mom got the HH fish & chips, and my dad got the wagyu smash slider. Plus $10 beers, of course. Everything came out quickly and beautifully portioned, which made getting dessert (magpie ice cream cake) a no brainer. Delicious!!! I didn't stray into their full Kiwi-based dinner menu, but I can fully vouch for their happy hour, the cozy, charming vibes, kind and attentive servers, and flavorful dishes. Would absolutely recommend and will be coming back next time I'm in town!

We made a reservation for 10:15 which mind you, you have to put a credit card down and we got there early, around 9:42am. In the reservation we asked to be seated inside but we got seated outside. We decided pretty quickly what we wanted and we kept seeing servers going back and forth passing our table but no one had come to our table to offer water or ask us our order. I had a view inside where the bar is, and I saw a lot of servers, many of them just standing around so it was annoying that we had not gotten anyone to check in on us. Finally around 10:07 someone came to check in and tell us there was a "mix up". We just ordered our food, which we shared the cure. Then another server came to check in again. Which interestingly enough, he served a table across from us who got sat down way after us. The food was okay. The gravy was the best part. The bacon was not crispy, needed more time to cook. Some of the tater tots were good while others were way too toasted. The eggs were meh. We spent $31 on ONE dish and bad service and yes we left a tip even after that service. Disappointed that the quality and the service has gone down. Won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend.
