My son ordered a combo, asking for a sub with just turkey and cheese. He got a sub with one piece of turkey, one piece of cheese, and all the stuff he asked not to be on his sub. When he returned to complain, he was told that it was the portion of meat and cheese allowed. $13 for one piece of meat and one piece of cheese? They refused to make it right. When my other son asked to buy a new sub, they made it with tons more meat and cheese... Funny how when he wanted a correction, for no further cost, they claimed that was the portions. I don't know if franchises are all run differently, but I rarely go for fast food, but I have gone to this one a few times and have been disappointed each time. For $10 for a plain tuna sandwich, I can buy 6 can's of tuna and a loaf of bread myself and actually have tuna between the slices of bread. There is literally a tablespoon of tuna on each side but a bunch of lettuce. Doesn't matter which sandwich I order, there is so very little meat in it. Not worth it. I suggest going to Jersey Mikes where you can get freshly sliced meat and a sub with substantially more food in it. Despite the convenience of the location of this JJ, I will drive an extra mile. And it's not so freaky fast anymore. I've had JJ from Livonia and the sandwiches are substantially better. read more

Had an issue with the manager being rude a few days prior. Ordered lunch using my birthday reward my free sub. Never have we been asked to sign for our subs and all the years I've been working at the hospital and we always order from here. Today that same manager that was rude came into the work, asking for me to come sign the sub and she was going to refuse to leave my lunch that I had already paid for delivery and tip. The manager's name is Jen. She was the one who delivered the sandwich being rude and then when I called back after finding the food in my hair, she was not helpful at all told me she's too busy and she's working and was not able to do anything and when I calmly explain to her that this was an inconvenience on their part, she hung up on me. Then the manager called me back to tell me that I'm outside of their range (same exact distance (2 miles) from me as the one that is closed). Jimmy John's has become my go-to for a quick, delicious lunch. I order online from the parking lot at work, then start the car and drive the two miles to the Jimmy John's drive-thru. (I love that they have a drive-thru!) The food is usually ready by then, or it's ready in the next minute or two. I've gotten delicious subs with plenty of toppings, and I absolutely love the French bread buns! My favorites are the #9 - Italian Night Club (with light hot peppers added), the #6 - The Veggie (minus cucumber, plus onion), and the #16 - Club Lulu (with extra mayo). I have noticed a few efficiency issues, like today having 7 people walking around bumping into each other and getting in the way behind the counter when in reality they needed 5 or less to run efficiently even during rush periods. Do you honestly need 3 people standing at the sub station elbowing each other with 2 others just wandering around looking bored? When it's a hot day and you just want a sub delivered to you obviously you call Jimmy John's! That was mine and my cousins plan today. Unfortunately that didn't happen. When we called the employees were rude on the phone and told us that they can NOT deliver to us because we were one minute over the delivery time quota (even though we have had them deliver to our exact location numerous times). Now on a customer service perspective I understand keeping their "freaky fast" service but at the same time I wouldn't have complained if they had taken six minutes to deliver my sub over refusing the delivery all together.
