Hmm...well these are my thoughts on Firehouse. I ordered the under 500 calorie sriracha beef sandwich and a cup of chili. The chili was okay, however wouldn't order it again at almost 4 bucks a cup, it was not worth it. I would much rather have Wendy's Chili way better and way cheaper. The sandwich was good, the beef tasted very similar to Arby's roast beef. The sandwich served on a whole wheat hoagie type roll with lettuce, tomato, cheese and sriracha sauce, along with mayo, which I got on side The sandwich was good, however way over priced at 6 bucks a pop, sorry not worth it. Very immature employees. I came in to order with a coupon, while I was placing my order 2 females came running in jumping up and down yelling at the top of their lungs while 2 of the female employees did the same, there apparently friends. I looked at them until they stopped yelling so I could finish placing my order. They didnt honor my coupon, the "acting manager" I could barely understand because of physical medical issues. I fealt sorry for her when I first walked in because she was the only employee actually working while the other ones were just standing around listening to videos on there phones... but after her telling me "if I dont like it I can go somewhere else" I lost all respect for her as well as the other employees for being immature. Been wanting to try Fire House subs and my choice did not disappoint. Clever Fire House decor, bright red tables, clean and looked organized. The young lady working was cheerful and my order was ready in a timely fashion, prices were comparable to most other food places. She thanked me for stopping by. I ordered the medium sub, the Italian and it was in a paper bag with the name on it and it came in a sturdy carton like container which was lined with paper so the sandwich was safe from falling apart, I hate that. Sandwich looked impressive, was cut in half and it was delicious, fresh and a generous amount of ingredients. I really liked the sauce. The bread was impressive and freshly baked. Recommend you give them a try and support our downriver business so they can keep their doors open for our community to enjoy. read more

I made a DoorDash order which is a whole other snafu but the restaurant cancelled my order (they stated that they did not cancel it, but I do know how to read) so then I reordered and then got 2 deliveries! I called the restaurant and the woman I talked to was SUPER rude. DoorDash was kind enough to take care of the issue, BUT I will never order from them again. Common sense if you see more than ONE order, maybe call someone..... but according to her she did not have time. The forgot my chips BOTH deliveries and made the sandwiches wrong both times! Until today after eating at dozens of Firehouse Sub locations throughout the country and always experiencing good friendly service combined with excellent food. Today while in transit to a Jersey Mikes I saw the Firehouse sign on a newer building/newer location on Ann Arbor Rd., in Plymouth MI so I turned around and dined in. The help looked and acted like MN ICE protestors, piercings all over their faces, wildly colored hair. The service was a complete joke followed by eating spoiled food (Steak & Cheese & a Meatball sub to eat half of and take the other half home). Firehouse is probably the only place I'll gorge on the food as its always perfect......until it wasnt this afternoon. I've been barfing up my lunch for the past hour. Food was grossly undercooked. The bread wasn't even toasted it was very doughy. Due to the fact 99% of the locations I've frequented are great places to dine I'll most likely continue to frequent Firehouse but will never step foot in the Plymouth, MI store again. I personally do not like throwing up nor having my stomach ache as much as it currently does so I'm not trying to discurage people from eating at their competent locations. Just avoid the Plymouth, MI store unless you do like rude service offered by degenerates and throwing up after a long day at work. read more

I placed on on line order. Could not enter this establishment to pick up my order. They do not have enough staff members to have the lobby opened. So I waited in line at the drive through for 22 minutes for an on line order that was ready 22nd it's ago. Hot food was cold. Cold sandwich was soggy. A family visit told young lady our first time I ordered the Brisket Sub large , Club Sub large and Meatballs Sub large all on Wheat and 2 be combos. So like 35 bucks kinda weird vibe, workers nice just not helpful to explain how your system works. Zero mention of loyalty club to get discounts, zero mention of dozen plus hot sauce. Just zero dead heads, no welcome, no Thanks for visiting just plain Jane robot employees, kinda like your Subs nothing special we all agreed. I love Firehouse sun but was disappointed with their customer service today. I ordered a kids meal which comes with a drink. I received everyone's order except the drink. When I called they tried to blame it on the delivery service. I said they can only deliver what you give them. The person that I spoke to said well we don't see a drink on the order... but you know it comes with a drink correct? Yes but we didn't see it on the order... ok so I was required to give my phone number and email.. Why? I know it was just a drink but I only requested what I paid for. I personally do not like their food but my husband does. He orders the same sandwich all the time, the spicy cajun chicken sandwich. Today someone made the sandwich completely wrong. They added tomatoes (my husband is allergic) and no cheese (it comes with pepper jack) and no extra mayo as requested. When I called them I spoke to Sean who claimed to be the owner. He asked me to bring the sandwich back and he would make another one. I said to him well my husband has already started eating on it minus the tomatoes. I ordered food from Firehouse Subs 124 E Northfield Dr, Brownsburg, IN 46112 through Doordash on August 8th 2023. I ordered the veggie sub on a gluten free roll. I had ordered this sandwich before and enjoyed it. But this particular time was an absolute NIGHTMARE! After having eaten 1/3 of the sandwich already, I took another bite, and ended up with a chunk of metal the size of a quarter inside of it! It was thick heavy metal that looked like a latch or a buckle of some sort. The cheese was melted in and around it, so whatever it was got put into the toaster oven with the food! I've already made a complaint to Doordash, but still awaiting a response. I have tried to contact corporate, but I cannot find consistent information, or even a working website. If I am unable to contact anyone about this, I will be taking this story to the media. read more

The meat has definitely changed to a lower grade. Completely changed the consistency of the sandwich. The meat (Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef) used to almost melt in your mouth. It would make the sandwich a bit wet (not soggy). You had to just keep eating it and not put it down - which in my opinion is always a good sign of a good sandwich. I would have rather paid $3 more for better meat (we all know costs have gone up) than pay $12 for this blah sub I got today. read more

I'd leave zero stars if I could. Placed a $71 order for my family of six, get it home and my sub has a clump of hair stuck to it. I called to get it fixed and was told they were closed but if I save the sub until tomorrow, they will remake it for me. Bought a gift card to give as a gift this week. Opened it up today to find the card is disgustingly dirty! YES THEY SELL RELOADED CARDS! it looks like it's been in someone else's wallet for a long time! Called the store to have it replaced & I was told that there's nothing they can do. Asked if I could buy a new gift card using this one as payment & was also told no. Called corporate & was told the gift cards are owned by an independent company & that they also were not able to help! Kinda' surprised by all the mediocre reviews. My husband and I both agreed after the first bite that this place is WAY better than subway and one of the best subs we have had. The meat was warm and full of rich flavor while the bread was warm with a slight crisp. I hate how subway 'toasts' their sub and the bread is hard and flakey; this place toasted it just right. We will definitely be going backs. Kids eat for $.99 on Monday and Tuesday and get a fire hat. Total bill for one medium sub and one medium sub meal: $16 (which included a donation to a fire academy). Worth the money. Had another couple subs a few days ago. One was the new pastrami Reuben. It was excellent, as was my go to sub, a large Firehouse Hero. Outstanding quality. Been hearing so much about how great the subs are that I decided to stop in. I got the New York Steamer, corned beef and pastrami, and was offered a sample of their chili. Chili was good and tasted homemade. The sub was good but was small. I was offered to double it in size for $2.50 which I declined, but seems that would have been the best bet. The best thing I discovered here was that they had a variety of hot sauces for your sandwich. I noticed the "Bone Sucking Sauce" which I have seen in gourmet stores and had been wanting to try. I have to tell you it was the best all purpose/barbecue sauce that I have ever had. I went out the next day and bought 2 jars of it. Overall a good experience here but I think Penn Station and a couple of local owned does as good a job or better and gives you more for your money. read more

While I was looking arount I saw Firehouse. I was hungry and I saw the drive thru and took a look at the menu. After looking I decided to get the Firehouse Signature Sub. They had 3 sizes and I Chose the 8 inch. The Service was impeccable and the Sub waS FANTASTIC!! When I got home to to eat it I was just floored how good it was! I felt like going back and getting another! SO Good! I will be back with everyone I know! AWFUL customer service! The cashier "Morgan" left me speechless with her rude behavior. She clearly lacks all the characteristics needed to work in the service industry. Poor child has some swrious behavioral issues. To make the situation even worse the so called manager "Samantha" was standing right beside her during our entire interaction.
