I love this market there's so many items to choose from and the workers are always so nice

Every visit to Concessi's is a delight. The absolute friendliest and customer focused staff in every department. The pre-packed food selection contains quite a bit of variety, as does the deli, the cheese dept., and bakery. Everything we've tried from Concessi's has been great. I love stopping in at this market. They have a little bit, of a lot of different stuff. Their fresh food and meat selection is fantastic! I've even gotten rabbit here. Their kitchen makes amazing fresh food and deserts, I got my birthday cake here the last two years! The stores always verrry clean! And the service is quick. I go here for the wonderful sausage for years. One time I got hot instead of sweet, so now I have to watch. They used to have excellent Polish pickled mix. The produce is over priced. I normally get onion rye bread at Trentwood, but I was there- got it home-mold! This happened awhile ago, too! For sure, never again!! I only go for the sausage-no sugar in it, and a big bag of flour. At least they finally started opening earlier. The cashiers are nice. read more

Great local gem for quick stop and go shopping. Excellent deli with lots of homemade selections and international flavors. A great bakery with all kinds of homemade breads, pastries, cookies and cakes. (I recommend the cannolis) The produce is always fresh and the grocery is well stocked and competitively priced. The customer service is abysmal, the cashiers are rude and the options are limited to what a suburban family might consider exotic when they're feeling a little naughty. It's a pretty small place so I can understand the limited options for food but the prices are unjustifiable. I went to purchase a bag of grapes once and cashier rang them up at $18/lb. She had the stones to ask if I still wanted to buy them though, so I'll give her that. She saved me enough money to go buy myself a bunch of produce at Kroger. When you get your stuff on the cashier conveyor, you should pray that you aren't on your phone. These ladies must have had their dogs kicked by someone with a bluetooth in their ear, because there are signs up telling you to finish your phone call like it's the secretary of state and they're gonna ask for your birth certificate to buy a gallon of milk. One time they complained out loud "Wow do all the customer's have to show up at once!?" - it was me and one other person. Don't worry, I'll make it more manageable. Oh and the owner's wife has a few racist tweets, but she claimed she was hacked so it's okay. Hey lady, 2008 called and they want their weak excuse back. read more

The cashiers were great but I had the most horrible experience at the bakery counter when I was picking up desserts for my in-laws' anniversary. The cashiers were great and told me to talk to the head guy (owner or manager). He actually laughed throughout my report of the worker and my encounter with her. Then he said he would address it with her, while still chuckling. The only apologetic ones were the cashiers and it wasn't their fault. Concessi's is a great place to go to pick up groceries for lunch. They have a deli section with meats and cheeses. They offer Boar's Head brand. They also have a section with hot food that they make. And cold salads. I also absolutely love love their honey chicken salad. It's so good. It's a small gourmet grocery store. They do carry wine but no liquor. read more

This is a nice little market. Fresh produce and flowers a bit pricey. A hot food and salad counter with fresh soups. Featuring chicken and eggplant parmesan as well as rotisserie chickens, ribs and sandwiches. A smaller then average market with the basics as well as harder to find imported European items. Fabulous sauces, bruchettas and pastas. A very nice butcher case with fresh meats and seafood not horribly priced, as well as a nice deli offering boars head and excellent gourmet cheeses. A wonderful bakery with loads of yummy goodies as well as an impressive bread selection. A nice market prices a bit steeper then average, but worth a visit and the stores homemade bruchetta is amazing. read more

Definitely my new place to stop. Their meat counter is loaded with options. The Filet Mignon cooked up beautifully. Also a Boar's Head shop with staff actually working so it's open! Also have a lot of different options for pantry items vs Kroger\Meijer. read more

They close at 6pm?? Better hours than a bank if you work there. Customers on the other hand need to shop someplace else if you can't get there before they shut the gate. I started going to Trentwood which is out of my way but at least open for us who work till 5:30pm. read more

I am completely in love with the store, the staff is friendly and helpful and willing to import cheeses that I want from out of the country. I called about a cheese from Cyprus which is called hello, the lady at the counter actually left for a few minutes and went to go find it so I would have to waste a trip. Everything is organize the meat counter has fresh fruit meat and produce I'm so excited that I found something here in Riverview. read more

I just left concessi's and be warned. Make sure you check your prices. Cashier rang up item way overpriced that what I was buying and flippantly said, do you want me to get you a refund. Really, I point out the price is incorrect, the item identifier she punched in was wrong and she just acts like it's no big deal. I guess Concessi's is good at ripping people off. I didn't get a refund, because it sounded like it would be more trouble than it's worth. Just beware. The customer is not their first priority apparently. read more

I've shopped here many times. Smallish spartin store with a few European odds and ends. The help isn't always great so get what you want and get out. I had to edit this one a bit as our last visit was not so great. At the deli there was a LOT of condensation on the glass. So much that you couldn't see anything inside. My 3 year old ran his fingers across the condensation and as I was telling him not to my 6 year old had his fingers on another pane. The employee came around the deli with a squeegy looked at my older son (who I hadn't had a chance to correct yet) and yelled STOP THAT! I mean embarrassingly YELLED. Hey lady... 1. They are children. 2. I AM their Mother. 3. We couldn't even SEE to buy anything because you needed to wipe the glass already. Crabby people are dumb. read more

Always clean. Produce isnt bad. The lunch meat cant be found anywhere else. Many types of procuitto mortadela head cheese kraukawska dearborn and boars head. Lot of cheeses and decent bread. Lot of cool seasonal stuff too. Please support to keep this fine store open. read more

Buyer Beware! Yesterday I stopped in to pick up a few items and purchased 4 jars of salsa. I've been buying the same brand of salsa there for over a year, my family really likes it. Cashier bagged our groceries and by the time we wheeled the cart to the car, two of the jars were leaking & the vacuum tops were "popped". When I went back in (expecting to be able to return them) I was told by the manager that if the jars bump anything that will happen. She then asked me if I bumped them! WTF? The cashier was the one that bagged them, so if they were "bumped", it was the cashier's fault. She begrudgingly replaced the two leaking jars with new ones and then proceeded to make a face at the cashier while doing it. Piss poor customer service! I have NEVER had seals on jars break if the jars are bumped. I found the salsa online, so from now on I will be purchasing it directly from the vendor. I hope this place goes out of business! read more

First time in here and had a great experience. An upscale market with lots of specialty good. Nice looking produce. But the meat counter and deli is where this place shines. They have Swiss variety of meats and seafoods that all look excellent. We picked up raw "sushi grade" Tuna steaks for $3.99 each. Wow! And also the butcher (who had mesmerizing blue eyes btw) tolerated my questions about "what exactly is IN the ground meatloaf meat?" And "how does he think it would do in burgers?" I bought a lb. To try out. Their steaks, chops, and even chicken kabobs and turkey fillets looked wonderful. Some pre-marinated if you're in a hurry. We also tried their cookies (assorted) and they were very good. I'll be back ... If only to talk to the friendly butcher some more! read more

The first thing I need to tell you is how deeply I detest grocery shopping. With that said, I normally try to do a commando raid on a local market every two weeks or so and that raid can never last longer than 30 minutes. Or my head explodes. After working at a large hypermarket for 11 years, I am done with them forever. I prefer the small, intimate, more independent markets. Concessi's makes it easy for me to get in, find everything I need, check out and head for the hills in that 30 minute time limit. There is not much of the processed and packaged drek here--for that, you will need to go to Meijer, or Super K. They have a large fresh meat counter with a great variety of cuts available every day. The deli counter is filled with every choice from low-sodium to fancy imported stuff I can't even pronounce. The produce is not as wide and varied as the larger markets but is full of basic staples and a few esoteric choices. Much of the (few) boxed and canned goods are Spartan brand. They carry butter lambs during the holidays. They have an olive bar with quite a good selection. There is a bakery in the corner with all the sweets you can think of as well as bread. Concessi's carries Oakwood bread, and until very recently, Calder's products. There is a small flower shop just inside of the entrance. You will be able to put together good meals here. It is a small market, and you will not find fifteen different varieties of boxed mac and cheese here, nor will you find lots of frozen breakfast items. There is just good food to be found. And you can get in and out in less than 30 minutes. If Eddie Izzard shopped at Concessi's, he would say he did well here. read more

Oh somebody questioned the facts on 3-12-2018 that I did not talk to the Manager, over the Ladies cutting Lunch Meat. Well even since YOU were not there at the store and its happened a couple of times, it was the Manager in the Butcher Shop the Young Gentlemen who use to work at Ray's Prime Meats in Taylor. He was very nice and he was going to tell the ladies to cut lunch meat the way the customer wants it, And also I was not the only one that complained. Best part I still go there just don't get near Lunch Meat Counter. Great Place... read more

Concessi's is about as close as we can get to a Gourmet Market in the Downriver area, unless by some miracle the guy who owns Papa Joe's has a momentary lapse of reason and decides to build down here. At any rate, Concessi's is very good. They carry Guernsey products and Tony Packo hot dogs. There is a prepared food counter and most of what I have had from there, lasagna and perch, has been very good. Very good baked goods selection and the bakery counter has alot of nice looking gooey and creamy things for sale. This is a place that is worth supporting as it fills a hole in a desolate place for gourmet food. read more

I have never had a bad experience at the Store.Love how they have expanded to carry more Grocery Items.I live about 2 minutes away, so it is sooo convenient for me to pop in and get what I want.Alas a little pricier then say Meijers or whomever, but worth it for the time spent getting in and out in a hurry and not having to walk a country mile from the parking lot.Their Produce is Top Quality and presented very well.Even quick take-out meals are great.Just a great Local Store that sells good quality Food,Meats and Produce. read more

Concessi has quickly become my go-to store especially if I need specialty products - they have a wide assortment of meats, cheese, oils, breads, wine, and many other multi ethnic products. Their deli counter has a wonderful selection and I'm personally hooked on the kale salad and city chicken. They sell mostly local products in terms of dairy, produce, which always looks fresh, and also a MI brand beef jerky my husband loves. I always recommend shopping here to other's. My only suggestion would be to carry lobster tails please! read more

Place was dirty, garbage lined the wall around the vegetable and onion tables. The kitchen counter was dirty with many hand prints on the glass. At the deli counter, which seemed to be the only place without litter, the staff was increasingly unpleasant. I wanted to purchase some deli cuts, which they let me sample (with attitude). The cashier was snobby and unfriendly. The cash register belt had something that looked like blood on it, probably from someones bloody meat. Needless to say I did not place my items on it. It seemed to me they didn't even want my money, like the whole thing was a show. I was so upset by the end of my visit that I just left my items with the rude cashier and walked out. Horrible service and dirty atmosphere, this place doesn't even deserve one star. read more
