1. I had a very unpleasant gross and disgusting experience. While ordering carry out in the dining room. I watched the person preparing my food put the burgers in the microwave. While still wearing food preparation gloves, she pulled her cell phone out of her back pocket, texted someone, and then put it back--all without changing gloves. She then used the same gloves to handle the wrappers and my buns, pulling the dried out, shriveled meat from the microwave. This was very unsanitary and concerning. 2. My Baconator sandwich was dried out and shriveled, and it only had three pieces of bacon instead of the six it was supposed to have. I felt shortchanged by this. 3. Price compare the store Woodhaven store Baconator $8.49 / Brownstown store $5.89 same exact sandwich. Junior Bacon cheeseburger Woodhaven $2.85 / Brownstown $1.60. Stopped once again because of convenience. The service here is still sub par. We entered through the drive through this time and was greeted by a woman who seemed less then Happy to be taking our order. Everything seemed fine until I ordered a plain hamburger with not topping and asked to add lettuce. The employee asked if is a single or a Jr, I replied I need a plain hamburger with just lettuce on it. I was then informed lettuce comes on it. Drove up to pay and get our food and was greeted by employees (I think they were employees but inside because everyone was dress casual there.). Food was ready in a timely manner we quickly checked to see if everything is there. Finally got home to eat but found the hamburger has all kinds of condiments on it including mayo (have an allergy to an ingredient in mayo). You have one job and I know it is hard but it shouldn't be. Why is it so hard to get a completer order right from this place. This place sucks. Every time we order there is something wrong or missing and we don't order any special setup, so it's hard to understand why it happens all the time. Also, don NOT order from their website for a pickup. It will schedule your order for the next day and the store is useless if you want to cancel. Wendy's corporate help line won't get you anywhere either. Tried to get a refund for food I NEVER RECEIVED and was still charged for. Now that Chik-fil-A is open I'll never go here again. Incompetent, rude, and unhygienic looking staff. They have no idea how to troubleshoot any issue whatsoever. I tried to use my rewards, they said it just "wasn't working" and there was nothing that could be done. I used all my points trying to show them that i wasn't trying to pull one over in them and they insisted they weren't going to honor that (which is the least they could do, seeing as i used 900 points on a 300 point burger). Placing order and after each item the drive through lady kept asking is that all (no we weren't taking our time by ordering slow) paid for food, park and realize we're missing a sandwich, "no biggie" go around drive through to let them know we're missing the chicken jalapeño bacon burger, go through to windows and they hand us "our sandwich" open it up and wrong sandwich, drive through again to let them know it was the wrong burger, get to windows after another wait, get our "sandwich" same WRONG burger but this time with HAIR in it! Go through again and say wrong sandwich and a strand of hair is mixed in, get the correct sandwich but frozen in middle. Park again and realized the other burger we ordered without cheese had cheese but the cheese was under the burger and someone tried to "scrape" it off. Not cool since cheese is an allergy. Call speak with GM Shelby. I've worked at other Wendy's before, so I generally stay away from them since they're overpriced and poorly operated. The old slogan used to be "It's not fast food, it's Wendy's." No shit, there was never anything fast or affordable about a Wendy's. But, this one is the first in the area to have a makeover, and I hope these new model Wendy's start taking over their ancient designs. This one has comfortable booths, a lounge area, and a big screen TV. It's very posh. Their newfangled pop machine is awesome too! You can pick from dozens of different kinds of pops and flavorings. I had a vanilla ginger ale with my pretzel burger combo, and I was in heaven. It was also amusing to watch an old couple try to use the touchscreen machine and all its options. If I'm feeling Wendy's (a rarity in itself unless I have coupons), I'll go here. read more

Spent over 30 dollars on food. All four of our fries were frozen and hard as hell. Had a bogo chicken sandwich, first one was fine second one was rock hard as well. I would understand if they were understaffed but nope there was a employee kicked back in lobby with her feet on the table watching tv in the lobby. I've been to this one on several occasions. Foods wrong order, or forgot food item, or get salads with no forks. There was a time after they did a remodel and it was freezing in the lobby. So much so i could see breath, fog on windows, and other customers walked out from being so cold. I also told them i have allergies to tomatoes and guess what was in the middle of my food. Glad i checked before eating it. Workers are lazy and make excuses to why they don't have items. I've worked food many years ago and i get not having things time to time but it's alot of the time.
