The salmon, soups, salads, everything is good! My husband and I go quite often. They have a diverse menu with a lot of options for everyone.

So... I'm gonna keep this short and simple. Two guys that worked here at around 6:50PM-7PM on May 9th were corny and goofy. One tall and one chubby. The tall one dropped the black Mat that the food goes on, on the floor. He then tried to pick it up with his foot but failed (view the cameras). He ended up picking It up with his hands just to get back to making my food and ALMOST touched my food with those same hands but instead he touched the paper my food is laying on and realized he didn't change his gloves. The chubby one, charged me 25 cent for a cup of ice and fyi no fast food place worker gives a hoot about charging someone for a cup of ice. This one I'm just salty about but no biggie. Decided I would hit up Jimmy John's today. Let's start out with everyone was super friendly and the place is really clean. Ordered a Turkey/Ham/Cheese with lettuce, tomato and mayo. The bun is a chewy type. Had a bonus of getting a free cookie which I chose the Red Velvet Cookie which is a new flavor. It had white chocolate chips in it which made it great. Dirty store, doesn't look like anyone ever sweeps or wipe down table tops. Slimy deli meat, hard bread and questionable freshness of items (pretty sure I got food poisoning from the "homestyle potato salad") This location also has rude/disrespectful employees. You walk in and the whole store smells of marijuana. This location is franchise owned and it's obvious the owner doesn't care who they hire to work in their store. Everyone wears headphones so you have to repeat what you need more than once. Slow service. Bathroom was disgusting. Manager has an entitlement attitude. Overall awful location. Don't order the Smokin' Kickin' Chicken if you want your money's worth. Usually I have no problem with this Jimmy John's - my usual order is the Country Club with a pickle and chips. Always accurate, always delicious and filling. I ventured from my norm yesterday and wanted to try the Smokin' Kickin' Chicken. I was very disappointed. Usually my sandwich feels pretty hefty. When I pulled my Sammy out of the bag, it felt like JUST BREAD. I opened my sandwich and was surprised by the lack of chicken in my meal. For the price, there should have been chicken in every bite. The food is great, unfortunately the delivery is anything but "freaky fast". I waited almost 2 hours for a delivery that was supposed to come to a location less than 5 minutes away from the restaurant. When I only have so much time to eat between clients and I end up with my food closer to lunch than dinner time, it's sort of a bummer. read more

Just had lunch there with my husband earlier today and their sandwiches are truly an upgrade from subway. I just felt like my sandwich was kinda dry. we both had the bootlegger club which had turkey, roast beef, veggies and just a smear of mayo that i saw. Jimmy John's, either you're great or just OK. I have put this off because I can't decide. You have a lot going for you. This is a particularly great location for me. You generally live up to your freaky fastness. Between the people working behind the counter and the drivers, you always have more people working than are in the store as customers. The sandwiches are great; you have no problem crafting them exactly how I want them. The ingredients all seem fresh or freshish. Totally devourable. However, you pounce on me as soon as I open the door. Maybe there is another sandwich worth trying, but I don't know because you're taking my order before my eyes adjust to the light. And, by the way, your cookies taste horrible. Plastic play-dough chocolate chip. That almost drops you to one star. So bad. But the convenience and tastiness of your sammies will win the day. I discovered that this location existed, purely by accident. As it turns out it's in the same strip mall as the Monte Carlo restaurant which I come to on a semi-regular basis. The staff and management was nice and they had never heard of Yelp. So I got to explain that to them. I ordered my "regular" which was the italian sub and it was as tasty as I remembered it. The real question is it as good as Jersey Mike's? I think it is a tad closer to my home but maybe not close enough. read more

While visiting my sister in Grand Rapids, MI one weekend she was all bent out of shape because Jimmy John's limited their delivery area and she was no longer in it. OMG.. she ranted, called the manager and was all over the internet reviews pages!! I thought she had lost her marbles... Long story short, there is a Jimmy John's 1.5 blocks from me and that is what we had for dinner tonight. No wonder she was carrying on ~ that sub was pretty dern good! And the complete order for 4 people got here QUICK!! I texted her and even sent her a picture of my meal. She sent me back a picture of her middle finger and said she is still mad about it. Let me preface this thought by saying I get consistently good service and food from here. I order from them a lot and will absolutely continue to do so. But here's what I think: I feel like the best measurement of service is how you fix mistakes. Things happen, nobody is perfect, and things don't run smoothly all of the time. But how you react and correct situations is what really sticks out in my mind. I work in a large office near this restaurant and we do quite a bit of catering order with them. They are fast, delicious, and reasonably price. When my order came late today, the manager himself came to my office to offer an apology and gave me some extra sandwiches to pass out to my staff to make up for it. This was even after he had adjusted my total over the phone. The fact that he went out of his way to express his concerns about what happened and that he would do what it takes to keep my business is pretty amazing and very appreciated from this reviewer. read more

Jimmy Johns on Shrock Road is one of my favorite sandwich joints. Every time I have gone there (or had it delivered), the bread is excellent, the ingredients are fresh, and put good portions on the subs. Also, due to some allergies my family has, the fact that their stuff is all freshly made is a huge bonus and my entire family can eat there. Jimmy John's has become my favorite place for subs...until today. I noticed the menu was different, and needed help finding something close to my usual choice. I was very disappointed in what I got. Right away, my husband said, " it feels different. It's not as heavy." I always found it to be a substantial sandwich, and I usually saved half my sub for the next day." It looks as if it has less ingredients. But the most disappointing part was the roll. The rolls have always been da bomb! Always fresh-tasting and chewy. The one I ate today was thick and hard on the bottom, as if it had been over baked. Overall, it was not as fresh and flavorful as I've had before. It almost seemed stale. I'm hoping this was just an off day. I'll Jimmy one more chance, and if it's not better, I'm off to Jersey Mike's for my next sub! read more

I probably eat here about once a week because its right next to my work, and i like convenience. The average time it takes for them to make a sandwich is about 1 minute. Which is awesome for me since i only get a 30 min break so i can spend more time enjoying my break rather than waiting for food to be made. This location of Jimmy John'sis superb! They are always very quick, the store is always very clean and the prices aren't too bad. Their giant club sandwiches don't look very big, but they do pack the meat on there! The giant (whole, sliced anyway you like) pickles are savory too. My favorite part has to be their chips. They're baked and not fried, so they are better for you and they come in many flavors. They remind me of a kettle chip almost but not nearly as salty. read more

I have been here a few times when it has been very slow. For this reason the food was always correct. Although, yesterday I went during lunch time when there were more customers and they messed up my sandwich AND my friend's sandwich. I got the veggie sandwich with extra mayo, alfalfa sprout, and no cucumbers. I ended up getting a sandwich with no mayo, cucumbers, tomatoes that tasted like they were starting to go bad, no alfalfa sprout, and TURKEY and though they called out my number. This was very disappointing for me as I have been a vegetarian for five years now. They put a thin layer in between the cheese, so even though I checked it before taking a bite, it was not visible. I recommend going there when it is slow or checking your food before leaving. read more
