Jimmy John's is a reliable sandwich shop with fresh veggies, unlimited customizable options, in house baked bread, and fast delivery. Get sliced pickles on your sandwich and order a pickle sliced in quarters for pickle spears! After all, "Happiness is a Jar of Pickle Spears"! I usually get delivery with great service! Just add to the delivery notes any details like where to meet you or if you want them to leave it at your door. Recently, I went in the store and could only get the current promotion if I ordered online and then picked up in-store. The internet on my phone was not allowing me to order, so I wasn't able to get the promo, but I still ordered and ate the tasty sandwich!

Turkey picklewich

Jimmy John's is always good. I tried their new picklewich and it was good but I took off the top pickle part because it was pretty salty. It's really not all that big, but with chips it was a hefty snack/lighter lunch. This shop sucks - the service, not the food. The picklewich was made very sloppily, they didn't have my bottle drink in my order, the side of ranch was half full, they couldn't stop talking to help me with pick up. I will always go back to Jimmy's, but there are too many sandwich shops in the area to visit one with crappy service.

Chicken ceasar wrap

My son's first time at JJ. We almost ate a Giant Gargantuan. Reminded me of when I used to eat one back in Austin next to the UT campus in 2002...ha! Shows my age. Excellent, it has kept it's great tasting subs as always. Recommended for anyone with an appetite who likes subs.

We have given this location multiple chances. The first strike was a few months ago when the driver just didn't show up. We waited for hours. No phone call. We never got our food and they charged our card. So tonight we decided we wanted to try again, it's been awhile they should have improved. NOPE. They at least showed up this time. I ordered an unwhich as usual and the lettuce was old & brown. You couldn't eat it. I'm not talking a little brown that could have been over looked, I'm talking brown everywhere. First thing I saw when I opened my meal. I ate the insides but this will be the last time we order from Jimmy Johns. Which is to bad because we do love the food. Thanks Bay Area Jimmy Johns, you suck! :-)

So I went to check out Jimmy John's finally and I liked it. Super friendly staff as you enter and leave greet you. It is your basic sub place. Not a ton of toppings but the sandwiches are a good price and they give you 8 inches. Most places only give you 6 inches. Really who does not prefer 8 inches anyway. I thought they offered a nice variety of sandwiches but they only sell their own brand of chips which are pretty good. Overall a good value basic sub. Hard to beat for lunch

Got the JJ, no mayo, (yuck) and it was really good. Delivery was fast but expensive. Just the Sammie was $8.50.

Everyone was friendly, the service was attentive, and our food came out quickly. I also really loved the vibe inside the deli. The artwork on the plates was such a fun detail and added a lot of character to the place! We also tried the chocolate cake. Unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite, but I'll admit I'm pretty picky about chocolate cake. I make a point of ordering it at every restaurant that offers it just to see how theirs compares. This one was a little too sweet for my taste, and the icing wasn't really my style. Overall, we had a great experience. I'd definitely come back for the sandwiches, friendly service, and cool atmosphere!

I wanted to dine in but decided to get my food to go out of respect of their 8 pm closing hour. I didn't look at what I ordered last time, so I asked for a recommendation. He suggested The Stallone and The Lucky. I ordered, then checked my previous order on Yelp while I waited. Same thing. OMG. I wanted to try something new too. Oh well. Then, while waiting, I had a thought: Wouldn't it be weird if they gave me the wrong order again, just like last time? Well... guess what. Almost. But flipped. They gave my order to another guy. ‍ When he told them, I watched them frantically take my food out of his bag and put it into mine. It was almost closing time, and the guy didn't look like he had any communicable diseases, so I guess there's that plus. But seriously, what are the odds? There were like five guys working back there packing orders it looked like. How does this keep happening? And one of the kids bagging the takeout orders had dark sunglasses on. At 8 PM. Dude, unless it's some medical condition, take the sunglasses off or get the order right. When I got home, the meatball sandwich was, of course, cold--which I expected since I live about 20 minutes away. I'd strongly recommend eating it there while it's hot because it's not nearly as good cold. Kinda mid The Stallone I ordered not warmed up. So it was okay. So, yeah, unfortunately, my second visit came with another wrong-order adventure. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if getting someone else's food is just part of the experience here.

We were ultimately shown to a table directly in front of the kitchen. As we sat there, I gradually began to notice some troubling things. Another Asian group was seated at a table next to one of the kitchen entrances. Later, when they finished their meal and left, another Asian family was seated at the same table. In addition, a Black family was seated next to another kitchen exit. A woman in that group asked to be moved to a different table. The food itself was very good, and the server who took care of us was pleasant and kind. My concern was specifically with the way the host assigned tables. Seeing this seating pattern repeated even though other tables were available made me strongly feel that race was influencing the seating decisions. I found the experience very upsetting. Of course, it is up to the restaurant to decide how it will assign tables in the future. I would be glad if this experience prompted the restaurant to recognize the issue and make changes. On the other hand, if nothing changes, I will consider this to be part of the restaurant's character. I am leaving this review to share what I personally saw and experienced.

We traveled to Galveston to visit the store and restaurant firsthand. For years, we followed Ronnie Maceo's story and were saddened by his passing. Thankfully, his daughter, Concetta, has continued the family legacy. We were fortunate to meet her during our visit. She was incredibly gracious, and spending time with her made the experience even more memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, and we couldn't leave without stocking up on spices and sauces. It's amazing how much history, culture, and tradition are packed into this one place. The gumbo roux is the perfect rich, dark color, and the flavor is everything you hope for--authentic, hearty, and reminiscent of New Orleans. Concetta also shared the weekly specials, giving us even more reasons to return. Needless to say, every future trip to Galveston will include a stop at Maceo's. I highly recommend adding Maceo's to your bucket list. See you there!

Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. Portions were pretty big here and around $12-$15 a sandwich, more than enough for a single person with some for a midnight snack later. There's a good bit of seating inside with some red gingham table clothes to eat over. It's worth the visit if your in Montgomery or after a day on the Lake!

My only disappointment was that the menu described it as coming on a crusty Italian roll, but the bread was soft with no crunch. A true crusty roll would have taken it from great to outstanding. The girl at the counter recommended getting the hot peppers so I got some on the side, and she was absolutely right--I'll definitely be adding those to future sandwiches. My husband ordered the Danza but accidentally received the Dinero. He still enjoyed it and gave it a solid 7/10. We also tried the Chicken Parmesan. It had good flavor, though it was a little too bread-heavy for my taste. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were more than generous. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu.

I was telling one of the servers to please pass along my compliments to the chef and the owners. I was having a rather rough morning on our first visit. The best way I can describe the deliciousness of the food was that I went from being a little bit meh, to a strong to feeling like I was having a warm hug. I ordered the biscuits and gravy my other half ordered the berries and cream cinnamon French toast, and my little ordered the Mickey Mouse pancake with cinnamon. We came back another day and all ordered the same thing again, and it was just as amazing as the first time. The inside of the building is quite rustic. Even though you are waiting a bit for your food, there is so much to look at that time just passes by. Even in the bathroom will keep you occupied, and not just with the normal activities . The staff was amazingly friendly. On the second day, the gentleman server did not know whether the Mickey Mouse pancake should have the cinnamon bun toppings on it (you know,...because kids might start bouncing off of the ceiling), or sprinkles and whipped cream. We requested the latter and he came over and put on a tiny show for my little. The gentleman made a fun little show of putting whipped cream on Mickey and let my little decorate his own pancake. My boyfriend got their sandwich that was similar to an Italian sub, which comes with the olive spread on it. He liked his sandwich, but felt the olive spread was overwhelming and scraped most of it off. He later said that had there been less of it on the sandwich it probably would've been better for him. My stomach was a little upset, so I was looking for something milder. So I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich off of the kids menu. Maybe it's just me, but a grilled cheese sandwich is American cheese on white bread, grilled. Here, apparently children eat cheddar and Swiss on a grilled roll. I asked to hold the Swiss, and went with straight cheddar as American was not an option. It was OK, but nothing to write home about in my opinion. Apparently this is a popular spot, as the tables were full both before we arrived and after we left, but unfortunately, we did not have an overwhelmingly positive experience.
