I order Jimmy John's at least once a week for lunch since I do not leave work to take my lunch. Online you have to specifically click for them to include mayo packets and napkins, and several times now this location has left out the mayo packets. Not a complete deal breaker, but it is obviously careless when it is done multiple times. First, I will give you the good news. It's Sunday afternoon, and your watching football on television all day. The bad news, is that you are hungry and have the worst immobilizing cold of your life. You can't even feed yourself, and all the pizza delivery joints will be crazy busy. Thankfully, there is hope. Jimmy John's delivers. Not only the do they deliver, they deliver amazing! All of the sandwiches at Jimmy John's are fine. I imagine they all taste similar with minor changes to ingredients. Basically, it's bread with a mix of things on it. I really can't tell much difference between the vegetable sandwich and the turkey club in flavor. The best thing about Jimmy John's is the delivery. I ordered my sandwich and they already had my address! Wow! I am not sure how they did this. My sandwich arrived in 15 minutes! My sandwich was less than ten dollars and they still delivered it! Ok. So I will say that the after the first couple of times I had eaten at JJ's, I was appalled. I couldn't believe the cost for a super ass thick loaf, of hoagie and a few slices of meat and cheese was. I vowed to never eat here...bread, no substance. I'm sorry, I am not the guy who enjoys eating a salad between 2 pieces of bread. To me, veggies are just filler to make the sandwich look bigger. Absolutely ridiculous. You get more in a sandwich at Subway, which for me, is still too much bread. I guess you could get a sub here then go to Domini's and get one there with the pound of meat they put in there sandwiches and lunch for a week. Not that I mind the fat sandwiches from Domini's, at all. YUM. Any who. As of late, my mind has been changed, in regards to the sandwiches at JJ's. My other half brought me a sandwich, or UNWICH, that was absolutely delicious and has ended up being my favorite. Incase you want to try it; Slim 5, UNWICH, add turkey and bacon. Get a side of the Kickin' Ranch. It's awesome. Now remember, I said my mind changed about the sandwich. It didn't about the price. I guess I should be grateful for the new rewards program. After 2 previous purchases, today I was able to use a reward to get a free sandwich. Even still, after you add turkey and bacon, a bag of chips and drink, the total still came to $7.95. DAMN! $1.85 each for the meat, $2 for the pop and $1.60 for the chips. I worked at Pizza Pipeline for over 4 years, I know that fountain pop does not cost that much, let alone the 20oz. cup. How is it a 20oz. fountain drink is more than a bag of chips, that takes a lot more to manufacture?? So, all in all, if you can deal with the price, try my version of the Slim 5. JJs is a long standing lunch favorite of mine, but the staff here were so rude to customers. Not impressed.

I ordered a sandwhich and paid extra to add cheese and guacamole, and I also added cucumbers and asked for no lettuce. I received a sandwich with only bacon tomato and lettuce. I live on W. 10th Ave., two blocks above their delivery radius and they refused to deliver to my house. So I called the location on 29th Ave. to see if they would deliver to my house and no luck. I'm literally two blocks outside of both JJ's radius and neither of them would bend the rules or speak to management to deliver to me and my disabled family member. I think that this corporate rule needs to be a lot more flexible considering I'm two blocks out of their delivery radius and they need to find a better way to accommodate their customers. Start by saying there are several excellent sandwich places in Downtown Spokane. Not to take away from them cuz they are all different in their own good way. But I keep finding myself coming back to Jimmy John's. And I know it's not just cuz it is new. I guess it actually shocks me that with all my travels that I have completely missed out on a JJ's sandwich. Since it has been open I think I have been there 5 or 6 times now and after doing a little homework I found out there are JJ's are all over the US. Thought I would put a word out. I will say this, the bread is awesome, very fresh ingredients, love adding the peppers, everything i have had has been great. The staff is really friendly and I know they are new and everything but it always amazes me how many they have on staff there but about the time I'm done paying they are handing me the sandwich at the other end of the counter. Crazy fast!!! So if you're in a hurry this might be the sandwich place to go. I haven't tried the pickles yet but every time I get a sandwich they try to sell me a pickle?? I'm not sure if they get paid on pickle sales commissions or if they are really just that good? I guess I will have to give it a try sometime. Highly recommend read more

Second call: 2:23 PM I live 6 minutes or 1.2 miles away so I call again and am told by Willie I was not told the driver had left yet and he had no contact with the delivery driver. He then pretended to lose connection with me and started saying hello over and over so I hung up. Third call: 2:26 PM I call to cancel the order because it's been 44 minutes since I got the confirmation email and in the past I got sandwiches within 7 minutes at a different location in town. I'm not sure if I spoke to the same person this time, but he tries to put the blame on the manager from the night prior not prepping enough, to which I reply that's not my problem and is no excuse for not being prepared at 2:30 in the afternoon. UPDATED REVIEW: 3 STAR I took my complaint to their website as well as their Facebook page and I was reached out to by the daughter of the owner of this particular store and had a sandwich credited to my account. The breakdown is 4 star sandwich, but 2 star delivery service so average of 3. This time around it took 31 minutes from the time I hung up the phone to receive my sandwich. This an updated review. As I wrote before, my boyfriend and I get food from here all the time. But unfortunately we have decided to never come back to this particular restaurant. A month ago, we were ordering food from the drive through and the lady asked if we wanted chips. I said "um, yea sure!" And someone on the mic responds "no yeas around here. " After I said excuse me? There was a moment of silence and then a man took over and finished my order. I pulled up to the window and they acted like nothing happened. I felt like I was being nice but telling me it's not a "yea" but a "yes" was really immature. Like come on we are hungry and just want our food. When I asked about it the lady said "someone just left their mic on". Yeaaaa and they got caught.. but this isn't why we are leaving a bad review. I get it, we all make fun of customers when they aren't listening.. I guess? The bad review is about two days ago when we went back to get dinner. (Don't judge we forgot to leave the chicken out to thaw) the next morning we went for our normal run and had to stop just to throw up on the side of the road!! We both didn't share any food except for Jimmy Johns that day so that's how we narrowed it down to that. We ran back home to blow up the toilet (thank god for two bathrooms) and had everything coming out on all ends. Sorry if it's TMI but I swear it was worse than it sounds. My manager and I ordered two subs. She ordered the plain tuna #3 and I ordered # 2 Big John. The sandwiches were delivered and when the tuna sandwich was opened it was dripping wet and the bread was soggy. The worst tuna sandwich my manager ever had - it was tasteless! My sandwich The Big John was not wet but the bread was supper hard. There was hardly any meat in the sandwich and the lettuce was old and not crunchy at all - it tasted bitter. The delivery fee was told to us that it would be 35 - 45 cents and came out too 1.92 instead. Worst lunch that I have ever had, and it was my first experience with Jimmy Johns. I love all jimmy johns. I'm writing my review on this one specifically, mainly because I was just visiting Spokane and was in a rush to get home. I got my food, paid, and was out of there within minutes. There were so many jimmy johns all around, and this one was closest. I always order the same thing- a #4 with cheese. (Turkey tom) every time it lives up to my standards. There was even one time when I ate jimmy johns for both lunch and dinner. They were both equally appetizing. I don't think I can ever get tired of it! On the bad side, because of jimmy johns, it's hard for me to eat at plain sandwich places like subway. It's just a downgrade. I will always love jimmy johns. I just wish they would put a jimmy johns in maple valley, wa and enumclaw, wa so I can have delivery and lunch near my school and my house. On top of it all, they really are "freaky fast". Wasn't even done paying when they handed me my sub. Been to jimmy johns a hundred times, and will go five hundred more. Plus they're cheap. Go jimmy johns! read more
