They seem to have really started cutting back on the amount of meat on a normal sandwich. 2 1/2 very thin slices of salami and 1 1/3 very thin slice of capocollo. Service is usually ok, but today was unacceptable. Online order pickup and two sets of customers came in and got their orders after they received the order. One set of customers finished eating and left before I received my order. There were 4-5 employees working the sandwich line and counter. This location has a drive through which is very convenient. I tried the $10.99 kickin chicken wrap which was actually quite toasty hot. I'm not sure if it was the ranch or the jalapeños that made it kickin. The chicken was good quality and the ingredients very fresh. Also, the kickin chips were spicy ranch too. Unfortunately they have kinda went down hill. In the beginning, Service was not great but they were still learning and then it became OK after they got some people that done I feel like. However, today was disappointing because I feel like if you're charging almost $14 for a sandwich and small drink. You should have some protein on it, not overload it with vegetables and give you a couple pieces of meat. I feel like it's a vegetarian sandwich. Wow! What a C R A P P Y #9 SANDWICH! I refuse to go to the tramonto location (the people suck, and the service sucks!). But my wife bought her and I each a number nine sandwich wrap. I guess it tasted OK, but that was after I got them nasty thing open. They apparently washed the lettuce before making the wrap, but didn't bother to dry it off so the sandwich was soggy and completely soaked when I got it. It ran all over the place. Just opening it up. It got all over me all over my chair all over my shirt. It ran down my stomach. It was terrible. This is just one more reason not to go to Jimmy John's especially this one. A very bad experience. Let me say I almost never go to Jimmy Johns because they are far from where I live, but they are opening one close, but its not open yet. So I thought I would try another one out. It happened to be "National Sandwich Day, " November 3rd., so as is typical sandwich places have deals. When you go to the Jimmy Johns web page in giant they have their offer. Buy a 8" sandwich, get a Picklewich for 50%. So basically 25% off your order. A Picklewich, for those wondering was a limited time sandwich using a pickle instead of bread. So I add the sandwich and Picklewich to my app. but no discount. So I just go there to order in person. I say I want the sandwich day deal, and they are confused. Luckily I printed out the web page even including their "terms" for the deal. After explaining it three times, to three people, each apparently higher up the rank, I finally get the discount. Luckily, nobody else was in line, because it took at least 5 minutes to get this resolved, and again, nobody else was in line. Its a bunch of young people, that obviously don't follow offers given by their company. Very sad. My wife and I were very loyal customers, at least a few times a month. While consistent we had been continually surprised by the continual increases in your prices. Now it has gotten ridiculous to the extent that last week we bought our usual #9 & #5 with only chips. What used to, 4 years ago cost $16-$18 increased regularly to now almost $30. When we questioned the cashier she said that the store was regularly raising prices every 2 months and has gotten so bad that she said that she can't even afford to eat there anymore. We are done. We will be going to J Mikes or Firehouse, or make our own for 1/3 the price. We know prices and wages have gone up but not near that much and not every 2 months. In the beginning when they first opened it was like every other JJ's and a decent experience. However in the beginning of 2023 we started having orders wrong.... so wrong to the point where we drive by this location to go to the on Deer Valley. Last weekend we decided to give this location another shot since we were in a rush and went through the drive through. Ordered 2 sandwiches and neither sandwich order was correct (while checking in the drive through) luckily, the end of the drive though is by the entrance so I went inside to attempt to rectify our order. They say they will remake the sandwiches. However, not telling us that the remake order is now at the end of the line behind everyone else that has ordered since we ordered. As mentioned prior, we stopped because we were in a rush. So now like 10 minutes later the first sandwich remake comes out and again is incorrect so right back to the counter I go behind another gentleman also having issues with his order and returning a sandwich. Needless to say it took the staff 5 tries to make it 90% right ; yeah they NEVER got it right, it's a (#9 with no Mayo, no onions, no oil, add Jimmy peppers, cut in half) and on the FIFTH one they still forgot to cut it in half. At that point I was so late I had to leave. Not only that the attitudes portrayed by the employees and complete lack of an apology or concern for customer satisfaction was completely appalling for any business who wishes to have their doors remain open. If I could give less than one star I would. Every time we have gone here they have managed to either mess up one of our meals or they just plain don't even have any bread to make a sandwich. Tried to give them another try tonight only to get home and my sandwich have no Turkey or bacon on it at all. Just tomato, lettuce and hot peppers. Tried to call to rectify the situation and the phone just rings and rings with no answer. This new location is very disappointing. The last 2 times I picked up an order, they messed up my order. The first time, I came home & there was NO MEAT in my sandwich. The second time, there was lots of lettuce, pickles and cheese, with ONE slice of turkey. I had been Giotto the Aqua Fria Frwy location where my order was always great. I started going to the N Valley Parkway location because it's much closer, but if I want Jimmie John's, I won't go to N Valley Pkwy location, maybe they need more training, but I'm not impressed. read more

Great place MOST of the employees treat us very well and overall our experiences have been good. However, one of my children went there the other day and came back sobbing. An employee by the name of Avery had said some very cruel comments and called my child a d*ke when she thought they were out of earshot. While my child was ordering, this employee was extremely passive aggressive towards them as well. On top of this, the other day, I went through the driveway and that same employee Avery was on her phone and completely off task! I'm not someone who writes casual reviews for sandwich shops but as a regular customer at this JJ's location I feel compelled to. We live directly in the middle of two different Jimmy Johns locations, but we always choose to come to this location over the other because of one thing, Avery. When customer service is largely dead anywhere else, I know that coming to this shop I'll be greeted with the warmest welcome and the most attentive sandwich making experience with Avery. She's just always so friendly and eager to make sure everything is top notch. She's just always buzzing around the shop with a big smile and can-do attitude. I'm just super grateful for the wonderful experiences I've had coming in and wanted to recognize her. I hope the management truly knows what an asset to this restaurant she is. I was in the area and wanted a quick bite. I noticed they had a drive thru and only two cars in the line. I though perfect! Well...it only took 20 minutes to get to the window! Then sat there for 10 minutes waiting for my sandwich and drink which was already sitting there next to the soda machine. They seemed really disorganized and incapable of multitasking. hmmm where to begin? Maybe with the non-delivery...Don't expect delivery from this place unless it is Monday-Thursday...Forget about it on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (even though there are 6 workers there, sorry 2 workers while the other 4 pick their noses and watch) they turn off that option so it has to be picked-up. So you order combo's for the whole family and go pick it up. Fill up your drinks and they don't have drink carriers. So all the food is in a box no bags (owner/operator) is too cheap to buy the Jimmy John's bags? No drink carriers, last month was.."we are out right now here is an extra box to put them in will that be ok? Sure thank you for that"...this time..."no we don't have them" then stares blankly with no neurons firing at all. Ended up leaving the drinks not sure how Jimmy John's expects 1 person to carry a box full of food and 3 drinks open the door to get out and then try to get into their vehicle...maybe that is why they aren't doing delivery because they don't want to spill the drinks in THEIR car..but to hell with the customer's car.
