The Vito ..... what a joke!!! Order if you like the bread because their is not much on this sandwich
    Salina Y.

Not only is this place insanely slow for delivery (an hour +) but our sandwiches were so 'light' on everything. My husband ordered the vito and it literally had 2 slices of meat on the whole sandwich and a sprinkle of lettuce.... after calling the store, they explained that they had a meat shortage... seriously? Don't sell the sandwich if you don't have the ingredients to make it... we literally paid $18 for 2 sandwiches that had 1% of meat on them combined... do yourself a favor and skip this place!!!

This was supposed to be no lettuce, extra onion. NOT!!

Wow, how many times can JJ screw up my sandwich. I ordered a sandwich for delivery with no lettuce, they screwed it up. I called and they apologized and sent me 2 free sandwich cards. The free sandwich cards are not valid for delivery so I used the drive thru and ordered a #9. I drove back to my office and what I received was a roast beef. I then drove back to JJ and went inside. They said oh, did you get a roast beef and was supposed to have the Italian Night Out? So that was 2 more free sandwich coupons I got. Now about 2 weeks later I drive thru and what do you know, lettuce on my sandwich when I request no lettuce. I also requested extra onions and there are 3 measly rings of onion. You don't care about getting things right, I'm not coming back.

Slow. Unresponsive. Walk right past me waiting for something i ordered. No eye contact. Understaffed. I'd go elsewhere.

They literally "forgot" to make my sandwich. Super slow, and I understand it was busy but seriously!

A delicate hint of sour, and a soft touch of light rye, with a fresh scent of caraway and onion..... it is a perfect loaf! Chewy, but still supple. they have mastered the craft. People living in Lithuania might be jealous! But such bakeries are rare, even in Chicago nowadays. we live here in California and there is nothing even close to what we remember. But luckily, this little gem of a bakery is making their incredible Lithuanian sourdough rye bread available via Goldbelly. if you are lucky enough to be standing in front of this bakery, run, don't walk inside and buy as many loaves as you have money for. They will freeze well, and they will be the best bread you have ever eaten. If you are not standing in front of it, do what I did. go to their website, and order by Goldbelly. I plan to do it for as long as they remain in business. This bread certainly makes a good sandwich if you slice it thin. But I prefer it toasted, with butter. Or better yet, smeared with Lithuanian farmers cheese that has bits of Caraway. The toast softens the cheese a bit, and you have a gooey treat! If you don't have such cheese (Andrulis is a good brand) consider a good creamy goat or even a simple cow's milk cream cheese spread from good ol' Philadelphia. Honestly, you can just eat it straight from. The loaf. Can't go wrong.

What hasn't changed (yet): Compared to other sub shop chains in Omaha, Jersey Mike's has better and fresher ingredients, and the sandwiches are larger. They also cost a lot more. Ordering is a dilemma, especially if you want several sandwiches made your way instead of Mike's Way. You can give all the istructions up front, in which case some of them will be forgotten or miscommunicated. Or you can supervise each step, which can be an extreme exercise in multitasking. What has changed this year: There seem to be more employees, but they're less customer-focused. The woman who took my order on the last few visits appears demoralized and becomes visibly frustrated, if not hostile, if I don't place my order in *exactly* the way she prefers. On my last visit, she directly ordered the sandwich-maker to disregard my instructions. I hope she finds a job where she can be happy and were she doesn't drive off customers. Prices have increased and discounts have become less generous. Private equity seeks short-term profit over customer satisfaction or loyalty. There have been changes to the menu and decor which haven't impacted me. The menu numbers for the items they still carry seem to all be the same.

We have always had good service at this location and the restaurant is always clean. I personally like the #9 Club Deluxe, add mayo and bacon to it, trust me it's good!

We were staying in Lincoln NE but commuting back and forth between there and Omaha for a few days and on Sunday we hit this one before heading back to Des Moines. She always orders a turkey something... Honestly I'm not even sure exactly what it is and I really don't care. Subs or deli sandwiches really aren't my thing... But Schlotzsky's is probably her favorite! We hit the drive through in this location and were behind a couple of cars. She placed her order and I could tell from her smile they had done what they needed to do when they handed her the bag. I think it was the sheer weight... There are chains that you know when they hand you the bag if it's going to be a good day... You can tell if it's loaded...! Or did they skimp on your order? We pulled into a nearby parking spot in the lot... I already had my Runza waiting for me. She lifted the sandwich out of the bag and it dwarfed her hands. She looked at me and said... "Now that's a sandwich!" I could tell she enjoyed every bite. This Schlotzsky's is in a standalone building adjacent to a strip of businesses. It's easy to access and there is plenty of nearby parking. Service in the drive through was great and the sandwich she got was on point! Shes had ones that weren't from other locations... This visit at this time... 5 stars! Your mileage may vary.

I ordered my usual small original with extra cheese and it did not disappoint. It was a busy lunchtime, but the line moved quickly and the staff was friendly. Someone brings the order to your table but then you bus your own table. It's such a unique sandwich, there's no other like it. Planning to make a return trip next week!

What a difference it makes to be able to glide through the aisles without people pushing and shoving past you. Second, it's clean. The carts are nice (no rickety wheels here) and there are a good amount of smaller ones that come in handy for those quick trips. Plus, they don't clog up the aisles either. Finally, I LOVE the self check lanes. They aren't all clustered together and there are two sizes. The small ones for those in and out stops and my personal favorite, the larger ones with a belt length like a regular check out lane. If you're a crazy organized bagger like me, you will greatly appreciate these lanes. My husband probably does too because our self bagging process has improved immensely since discovering this, which means I'm not nagging him to bag better or get out of my way. Definitely make sure you have the customer card because those discounts do add up - I've had as much as $14 of savings in one trip. You also earn cents off the gallon at Quik Trip. Another reviewer mentioned the Direct Your Dollars program which I hadn't investigated yet, but I will now. I'd say you should shop here but I don't want to it become crowded like all the other stores. Maybe I shouldn't have written this review. Hmmm.
