I had an awful experience trying firehouse for the first time. The first time they got my order wrong, and the sandwich they did give me was literally almost empty of any meat or ingredients. I called and the guy was very nice and offered to remake my order which was great. When I finally ate the remake I was horrified when I found a literal what looks to be a metal cogwheel in my sandwich. Even without the traumatizing metal experience, the sandwich quality is bad! They are so expensive and the bread and everything else just tastes like an overpriced subway. I will never return to firehouse after this. I tried to contact them about this but I never heard back. How can y'all serve metal in peoples sandwiches and not even check that before serving it to someone?! Please go to jersey mikes instead. This is awful. read more

Called in a pickup order and normally they are 5/5 with great talkative people working. Never had a bad experience there. Tonight, the food was just blah. I normally get the Steamer but tonight it said not available at this location on my prior orders and did not even show up on the app. I am hoping it's just maybe a shortage of ingredients or something because going away from that would be a travesty!! I went with the pastrami and it was 2/5 at best. Bread was awful!! It was just not good. I also picked the Baked Lays chips and they were all completely in crumbs. I know the store can't see them in the bag, but it was very disappointing. Normally always a 5/5, but not today. I'm giving a 3/5 because normally they are great. Today 1/5, so averaging them together. Will try them again if they get the Steamer back, if not I guess it's a different Sammich place! read more

Walking in this place gave me anxiety. Small inside, crowded, people standing everywhere. It just felt unpleasant to me. Add to that, you order at the far end of the bar from the door entrance and they have 1 soda machine. The engineer sandwich I got was good, not bad and not great. Daughter enjoyed her veggie. Food is ok BUT service and manager is rude. Manager Brandon Miller told me everytime I come in I am a problem. The fountain drink machine was out of order and no one said anything when I paid for 2 drinks. I asked for my money back and he said go sit down. His tone was rude. My first time at this location and I made it home to an order that was wrong. I came back to the location, gave them the bag and told the acting manager that my order was wrong and he told me that I would need to pay for another sandwich because they can't give away sandwiches. Although he was the one who made it incorrectly. I NEVER came to a restaurant where they messed up my order and I had to pay for another. I immediately called the general manager and it went back to the store. I asked for another number and the helpful young lady behind the register gave it to me. I spoke with the general manager, Brandon, who mentioned that he doesn't know why it would be a problem. I have been in Omaha for about two weeks and I'm realizing how race may have been the problem. This is why people shouldn't judge anyone by their race or the way they look because you'll never know who that person might be. I am a proud owner of 3 businesses. I believe a diversity and inclusion learning should be taught to the acting manager, so in his career he would have a better understanding on how to handle situations as these in the future. It's very disappointing because my mom raved on this location, service and food. On a busy post-Christmas day, we had a few hiccups with our order, but the manager the staff working were quick to fix everything. Waited for 15 minutes at least along side a young mom and another gentlemen. They Never told ANY of us our food was ready. So after we each went up to ask about our food we all found out it had been sitting behind the counter the entire time. to which an horrible young man LOUDLY yelled from the corner "well you should have asked!" i replied with my frustaration and he rudely replie "ok bye lady!!" Wow. I was floored. I asked for the manager and his only reply was "ok thanks for letting me know"......., THATS IT!!?!??!?!?? Wow. Firehouse Subs not only get the food right they excel in customer service. This is one of my favorite places to eat and the staff makes the experience even better. The level of customer service is unmatched. The staff is very professional, polite and always friendly whenever I come in no matter the time of day. I sincerely appreciate the Grayhawk staff for always going above and beyond. If they know you they greet you by name, for those they don't know it's the same awesome level of service. During the peek of COVID everyone was experiencing staffing issues. Firehouse Subs went out of their way to apologize for the wait even though no fault to them. They worked hard to ensure everyone was served with a smile. I will always remember they kindness!!! read more

The first time I went to firehouse years ago I wasn't impressed. But I went to this Location last week and it was good. I got the Italian sub and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and during the weekday lunch hour they were packed. I'm giving 4 stars because the price is a little high in my opinion. Love this place! The Hook & Ladder sub is my favorite- definitely crave-worthy. The sandwich meat is heated to the perfect temp, so all you pregnant ladies out there craving a deli sandwich can go nuts. I ate at least two a week my whole first trimester. Disgusted by experience today. Ordered for Curbside, waited 20 mins past the pick up times and no employee ever came out to help any of the numerous customers waiting. Finally went in and there was a crowd of people waiting for their orders (even though the signs say stay 6 feet apart). When I asked an employee what am I supposed to do for a curbside order his repose was " Just stand there and wait til its ready" when I responded "what?" He then stated " Cant you see we are busy!" Then when i asked for him to cancel my order he said NO! Finally I found a manager who cancelled for me. Glad to see they appreciate their customers supporting them during Covid ... so much so that they no longer need to provide common courtesy or customer service. Very disappointing. read more

Firehouse is the newest sandwich shop in Northwest Omaha. My impression of this place is pretty good upon my first visit. The sandwiches were fairly standard but tasty. They seemed to have picked up where Quiznos left off by offering a variety of toasted subs. I enjoyed the club and my wife enjoyed the meatball. These aren't exceptional sandwiches but they are good and the work that they do in supporting local fire houses is top-notch. read more

Very disappointed. We placed an order online for a later pickup (1/2 hour). Got there about 40 minutes and they hadn't even received the order, even though I got an email confirmation. They said that they received some kind of notification but no order. I was also told that they were having problems with this. They did quickly make up the subs, but I still had to wait about 10 mins. All I got for hassel was a free drink and a bag of chips. Then when I got home, we found out that both subs were made wrong. We asked for no mayo and asked for oil and vinegar on both. They both had mayo and no oil/vinegar. When I called to let them know, all I got was "I'm so sorry mam' ". No offer for replacements or anything for our trouble. After not getting that, I told him that I was very upset and we most likely won't come back. He said "Sorry, bye". The subs most likely would have been very good without the mayo but they were overpriced for what we got. Subway subs are better and cheaper. read more
