If you're looking for a true deli experience, this is a great spot. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and your food is brought right to your table. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The menu offers something for everyone, including a well-stocked salad bar, baked potatoes, and a great selection of both hot and cold sandwiches. The salad bar had a good variety of fresh toppings and ingredients, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it's a solid choice for a casual lunch or dinner with plenty of options to satisfy different tastes. read more

Everything is always so delicious, and I love ice cream, one thing I would complain about because yeah, is that bad? Is the parking lot such that there are no lines anywhere, and so everyone parks too far away or too close, and you can't even see where the handicapped parking spot is unless you're really looking, and I don't know if that's the property manager's fault or Jason Daly's, but I want other people to think about it, and I would think that if this is the place, it's okay. read more

My baked potatoe was burnt. And barely had toppings. I heard good things about this place and was excited to try it and i was disappointed. The size of the potatoe was good but topping were skimpy and I could barely go to the bottom of potatoe without getting burnt potatoe. read more

I have been several times for an early dinner. It's usually fairly empty at 5:30. My friend always gets the salad bar which is fresh and plentyful with lots of options. I tried the muffaletta the first time because I had heard about the traditional New Orleans sandwich and it was quite good especially since I love olives. A subsequent visit had me trying the Chicken Baconn Ranch potato and it has been my go-to ever since. My friend laughs because he says it's the only item at any restaurant that I stop talking long enough to finish. It's so good but I would love it if I could add black olives to the toppings. read more

Jason's Deli is delicious! I ordered the Amy-O Turkey sandwich, spicy seafood gumbo and a side salad. The sandwich has turkey, lettuce, tomato, red onions, avocado, mustard and pepper jack. One of the best cold turkey sandwiches in town. The interior is clean and spacious. Service fast and professional. TC took my order and did a great job of explaining the salad bar and drink process. If are wanting a good salad and sandwich check out Jason's Deli! read more

Ordered from DoorDash and we had a great experience. The meat was piled high and had fresh ingredients on the sandwiches we ordered. They have so many options to choose from I think we'll order from them again. read more

Gotta love Jason's deli. I've been there several times. One of the few places in Omaha where you can get good pastrami. Being from New York City pastrami is life. Kinda like the mid western ranch dressing obsession . They never miss. Great service cozy atmosphere. GO TO THERE!! read more

Their sandwiches have plenty of meat and when I've had the soup and sandwich option I've also enjoyed their soup.

There are not many places to buy a salad in Omaha. When I have a longer time for lunch, I'll drive from base to JD for a to-go salad. I only really go here for salad. I have not tried their other options. Greens: arugula or iceberg or spinach...take your pick. I usually go spinach. The iceberg is often white. Veggies: A good, fresh selection. They have what I desire: broccoli, carrots, and onions. Toppings: A good salad is impossible without good bacon bits. They have them in spades. Good, large croutons. They have a couple of types of cheese. Dressing: I really only go for ranch. It's not the terrible abomination out of a bottle. They have a nice, home-made buttermilk ranch. Cleanliness: Bar is always clean. Service: very kind and helpful team. Over 18 months of doing this, I've never had a poor interaction. If you've read this far, you must have a specific taste in salads. Go to JD ASAP. :) read more

I mean it's a chain, right? Nationwide? Deli can't be too hard to nail? I don't care. I've got 2 picky eaters. I have a food-mood that swings like a Midwest screen door. There is always more than 3 hearty and filling soup options in the winter. I love Jason's Deli. The muffuletta is ALWAYS good. The beefeater is super filling and fresh, crispy not crunchy bread. Kids meals!? Crazy big for the buck and healthy choices. Good bowl/salad option. Salad bar is fresh...and some good unique options. Kids are ALWAYS on their best behavior...because...Free Ice Cream? Dad's always in a good mood...Free Ice Cream. The place is clean. Bonus. Staff? CRAZY NICE. Always Fast and Fresh. Try: Beefeater Sandwich Muffuletta read more

If you follow Kosher, Halal or vegetarian diet steer clear. I ordered a baked potato and asked for them to hold the bacon bits. My potato arrived and there were still several bacon bits on it. The manager stated that the bacon bits are next to the cheese, and the bacon bits get in the cheese, and I should just expect to get some. I don't know why he thought that explanation was acceptable, but I'm now furious. They did remake it but with a lot of attitude. read more

Manager Steven is amazing. I ordered from Maryland to send to my Dad in Omaha. Steven made sure the order was perfect. Super thankful to be able to send my Dad good food from so far away. Thank you Steven! read more

The food was good as always. Just really disappointed over how dirty things have become. It was a matter of picking between which table looked the cleanest. The benchs and the walls were gross. It makes it harder to want to come back for the food. read more

Oh how I've missed THEE Jason's Deli. The Santa Fe chicken sandwich is one of my favorite, along with the California club and so many of the other sandwiches, pastas and probably the best salad bar in the world. Why is there not a Jason's deli in Seattle??? I fell in love with you in Denver, and this weekend. I stumbled across one in Omaha. And there's a few here too. if you have not tried Jason's deli, do yourself a favor and take it from me the Santa Fe chicken or the California club, and get the fruit and whatever this dip is oh my. The fruit dip it's creamy and sweet. I'm sure it's probably not good for me but it's good for my mouth. read more

I went in for a nice lunch feeling good and I bought a 2 trip salad bar. I got my one salad bar trip and got to full. I then went up and asked if I could take the second trip home in a Togo box and the older gentleman said no I cannot so I was wondering if I could get a refund for the one trip I didn't get and no response. They need to have better service here. read more

In the past a meal at Jason's Deli has been a bit chancey-- sometimes everything looks clean and neat, and sometimes it doesn't. Today was one of the days when they were spot on. They reinstated their salad bar and it looked to me like the tables are a little further apart than they used to be. Staff weren't wearing masks but I was. Bookguy was a little disappointed that the salad bar wasn't an all you can eat salad bar anymore, but that can probably be blamed on Covid. Nevertheless he was completely satisfied with his lunch, picking from many favorites that he's always had in the past. I decided not to do salad bars anymore due to Covid. Too many people near the sneeze guard or under the sneeze guard. I chose a caprese panini and mac & cheese as a side. Fresh mozzarella, organic spinach, Roma tomatoes, pesto aioli, herb focaccia made the sandwich delicious. The mac and cheese was exactly like Kraft in the blue box that you make at home. If you like Kraft, you'll love this but for me it was just meh. Our lunch was just that- a satisfactory lunch. read more

The food was great but the service received was horrible. I ordered a to-go order# 527227186497, walked in to be greeted with one word "name" by a bald gentleman with glasses in a Jason's Deli uniform. I gave him my name "Brown" which he then checked the two ready bags, walked away without a word and started running the dinning room register. I assumed it wasn't ready so I stood waiting. A lady in civilian clothes (possibly management) then waited on me, asked my name, re-checked the bags and confirmed "Emil Brown?" I replied yes, she brought me the items and confirmed the order. The rude gentleman still at the register blurted out "was it the wrong name" which she replied "no" plus I chimed in saying the order and name were correct to which he just glared at me. The lady thanked me as did I, then I departed. His rudeness was uncalled for, just plain ridiculous and hurt my impression of a location my wife and I have visited numerous times with great outcomes. If this is his customer service capability, he is clearly in the wrong industry. Management needs to have a word with this individual because he will surely display this behavior with others which is totally unacceptable. read more

we went to the Omaha dodge location and the staff was extremely rude. we ordered 2 kids meals and only got one and instead of fixing the issue, they argued. when they finally agreed to make the second kids meal it was half asses with only 2 strips and no chips. extremely unprofessional. won't be back to this location read more

We ordered Jasons deli tonight through GrubHub, and our order was delivered without our dessert that we ordered and was paid for when we called Jason's deli they said that was not their problem, but GrubHub's problem to me you stand behind your product that you have put together and given to the delivery driver I'm very angry and will never order from Jasons deli again read more

We love Jason's Deli. The one closest to us in St. Louis closed so we were happy to see this one in Omaha when we were visiting there. We love their salad bar and this one was great. Everything is very fresh and items are frequently replenished. Jason's used to have all you can eat salad bar (get a fresh plate), but during COVID they changed to one-trip. That is my only complaint -- Bring back all you an eat salad!! read more

Absolutely unprofessional I stopped into the Dodge St deli on Dec 23rd and when I came in the manager identified by her name tag saying she was ..was sitting on the counter on her phone in full view of customers. Sitting on the counter is unsanitary I will not be back as obviously this is acceptable behavior if management is engaging in it. I would have given no stars if that would have been possible. read more

Excellent tasting salads. Everything else? Eh. We didn't realize it wasn't an all you can eat. Had we known we would have filled up on our lunch salad a bit more. Very disappointed tonight. We called in a to go order for a Beefeater sandwich, a Papa Joe's sandwich, 1-BQchips + 1 regular chips at about 9:18 p.m.. Paid. They stapled the bag shut (probably a clue...). I get home. 2-Ruffles chips. No au jus for the Beefeater. My Husband needs the au jus to be able to eat the sandwich. I call. I am told we do not get au jus unless we specifically request it. (We always order this sandwich & never had this issue before.). The menu says it is served with au jus! Very disappointed. LESSON: Service varies. Even though you pay the amount on the menu- you might not get what was on the menu or what you ordered. Open the bag before you leave. Cannot trust them. Be even worse if you are paying a delivery charge, also. I know this kind of thing has frustrated others- why can't we get what we ordered? read more

Jason's Deli - A description (from the menu) of what is supposed to be included w/the Beefeater Sandwich. - Sandwiches Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Such a great Ruben Sandwich!!! Service was awesome and deli was very clean. I will be back.

Ate here two days in a row for lunch ...both visits the place was packed. I asked a cashier for the to go side about the Irish Potato soup and she brought me a sample. It was delicious!! When the cashier asked if I wanted bacon & cheese on my bowl of soup.....is that really a question?!? Absolutely! The salad bar had its usual fresh choices. The soup was a good ratio of creaminess and chunky potatoes. This soup has moved into my favorite for this place. Service was as fast and we were able to get in & out relatively quickly. read more

Walked in for lunch around 3:30pm, this place was dead, not a single person in there...Paid for the salad bar, the salad bar was f'n disgusting, food all over the place, looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile. I started to get my food, all the lettuce was wilted, about 1/4 of the rest of the items were with out or almost out, at that point I walked back over the manager and asked for my money back and left...Really disappointed in this location as I love Jason's deli's... read more

Food was over priced, salad bar was dirty and low stocked. Felt like eating in a cafeteria.

Very clean and friendly however thought prices were a little high cornbread was not too great more Sauerkrout then anything. BLT was ok lacking the bacon just thought 27.00 was a bit high for 2 sandwiches. I have always loved Jason's we will try again probably later but have to admit was a little disappointed since I hadn't been there for almost a year read more

Jason's deli is usually an easy choice For lunch. Very extensive menu with sandwiches, soups, pasta, baked potatoes, and salads. I like to get the salad bar as well as their giant baked potatoes. On my most recent visit, the lettuce was a little wilted and not that great, but this is typically not the case. They have lots of topping and dressing options and I love the little cornbread and gingerbread mini muffins. If you have never had one of their baked potatoes I highly recommend it! They are ginormous. I can usually only eat maybe half and take the rest home with me for another meal. They take up an entire plate to themselves! I would say this place is very family/kid friendly as well with the amount of options available on the menu. And they offer free ice cream, which everyone can enjoy. read more

*Sigh*... Okay. So I'm aware that this place has a pretty decent rating. Tons of great reviews with plenty of happy customers. I was excited to try it out. I'm sad to say that was just not the case for me. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, idk. I went in on a Sunday evening around 4ish. Now although the service was friendly, the food was not. I ordered a California Club with a side of fruit. Everything on that sandwich scratch that... Everything on the plate was old! Even the plate itself was old & dirty. The strawberries & melons were near fruit death! Now the side salad was good. Probably because I'm the one who made it. Salad bar seemed to be clean. But that sandwich, I really wanted to like it. It made me sick for two days! Oh and not to mention it smelled of old Mop water! (The resturant, not the sandwhich) Just old & stank on this visit. Not what you want when you're trying to enjoy your old, dirty sandwich, right? It was nauseating! And the price... Criminal!! I'm not sure if I'll return. If so, it won't be anytime soon. If I were to eat here again I would just settle for the salad bar. Seems like a safe bet & the only thing worth the money. (Boy, can those pictures be deceiving!) read more

Jason's Deli... you're okay by me. I rescind my earlier pineapple-chicken-salad fueled rant and would be glad to have you catered again. Yesterday I had a well compiled turkey on wheat, the fruit you brought was fresh and bountiful, your store-brand potato chips had ripples, and the desserts looked good (though I can't speak from experience). I'm even eating the aforementioned chicken salad as leftovers RIGHT NOW, and it's actually good... that alone I thought was worth an additional star. read more

Having only tried this place once before at a marketing meeting. I really was blown away on how big the inside was. The decorations on the wall really went well with the atmosphere. The menu is full of great items to choose from. The salad bar they say is the best in town. I'd have to agree! I choose to get 1/2 a sandwich (The New York Yankees sandwich - corned beef and pastrami!!!! Bread was kinda of soggy but I also let it sit there for quite a bit because I also choose the huge salad bar. The salad bar is fresh and has plenty of options to choose from. They even have free ice cream!!!! The sandwich was very good and the salad very filling. I think when I try this again I'll just go with the salad because that's plenty for me. Keep up the good work Jason's Deli. read more

Jason's Deli is a consistent winner when it comes to lunch for me. A 'chain' restaurant, but in this case, the food is good and appears to always be consistent. I love the Beefeater sandwich, pretty much my go to meal. My wife likes their soups and the salad bar, and my daughter likes their kids size cheese pizza. I have also had their food catered into my work on many occasions and the sandwiches always look fresh and taste good. Simply put, they are great for lunch, with consistent offerings time after time...and free ice cream after your meal :) read more
