    Vito
    Susan W.

Sandwich was a 5, service was a 2. I haven't had JJ's in a while and was in the area, so a Vito it was. The cashier wasn't friendly, but wasn't rude either. He was just there ( if that makes sense).Took my sandwich home and it was just as good as I remember it to be. I like the simplicity of this sandwich and the bread is good too. Overall, very satisfying and worth having carbs on the weekend.

Please never close this location because so many JJ have closed in central FL these are my favorite subs of all time! They're freaky fast and I'm always satisfied I crave these sandwiches on a weekly basis. My go to is the Vito or sometimes beach club. Keep this open forever !!

    #9 Italian Night Club.

Love coming to this location. Clean environment, service is quick and staff are super friendly. My favorite sandwich place compared to the other competitors. Their bread is so fresh. One option I love is you can have your bread gutted out. What does that mean? They literally remove the middle parts of the sub for less carbs. Try the #9 "The Italian night club", my fav. Tons of meat if you're a carnivore. Meat combo-Salami, capicola, and ham. Comes with provolone cheese, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and oil/vinegar, oregano-basil. YUM...such a hearty sandwich. Try the BBQ chips with it. Their ice tea is great too! So many different sandwich options! The store is super cold. Great for the summers, but bring a light jacket. Felt like 65 degrees in there with the fans going.

I enjoy coming to this specific sandwich shop because its quiet, relaxing, the staff is very welcoming, and the energy is peaceful. My favorite combo meal is the BLT, their signature kettle chips, sweet ice tea, and that melt in your mouth chocolate chip cookie. For me, the sandwich is the perfect size, the bread, and ingredients are very fresh, and the entire meal is easy on my wallet.

The bullshit $7 "Italian Sandwich" on wheat bread.

I'm only 5'7" tall/short. The $7 "Italian Sandwich" (small amount of bullshit on 2 pieces of wheat bread), fits in the palm of my hand. This is the first and last time I'll ever get food from these guys. The delivery girl was sweet, which helped them get a star.

    Made with love!

I ordered a sandwich and I second Christina C: When they say fast, they mean fast! I placed an online order on their website for a sandwich and chips around 11:40 and about 12 minutes later, I had my sandwich in my hand! Very impressive! And the driver was so polite; he even thanked me for the tip that I added on my card (I guess most people don't tip or something? He was over the moon about it!) Definitely a great choice for late night delivery if you want something besides pizza.

Kinda nasty ham - picked out most of the meat

Not impressed!! 1st visit to a JJ's - always heard great things. I was the only customer upon entering. NO white bread / NO French bread available- only wheat. Girl proceeded to take my order while standing over at sub prep area. EVERY table was dirty yet no one was there. Floor dirty too. Sub = meh!

I would suggest coming earlier in the day vs towards the end of the day as the earlier experience and food was better. I ate their Cuban each time. One lacked pork, but generally the taste was good. The bread was a little soft compared to other Cuban sandwiches I have had, but for what it was, it was good enough. On one visit, I had French fries, and on the other, I had tots. I preferred the taste of the tots over the French fries. Ketchup is rationed out, as you need to ask someone behind the counter for ketchup. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich for my daughter, which she enjoyed. It was 3 pieces of bread and had lots of cheesy goodness, which makes for a delicious grilled cheese. They had a couple of swinging bench seats, which were unique and fun for the kids to sit on. This was a good option for a fairly quick meal. I would eat here again.

I invited a small group to lunch and celebrated birthdays with a meal for two friends....I bought lunch after signing up for the rewards program. I opted to take the requisite photo of my receipt and have the meal credited to my rewards account. The points were never added. There is no customer service phone number to call for assistance. And the phone number at the corporate office only leads to voicemails. So I sent an email. No reply. It's been 3.5 months. A few days ago I decided to call the store for two reasons (1). to see if they could lead me towards resolving this issue before make my next rewards-motivated purchase, and (2) to see if they would be able to pull together a last minute event for 23 people. When I called, I started by asking about the rewards program issue. A young lady announced that the manager had just left the store 20 minutes earlier. She said he could call me the next day when he returned--somewhere between 12 and 4 pm. I said okay and gave her my name and number. The next day at about 330, I had not heard from the manager Dennis So I called the store and a young man answersed the phone. He didn't identify himself, so I asked if he was Dennis. He asked me to hold on a minute, so I did. An older sounding man answers the phone, also not identifying himself. So I said "hi, are you Dennis?" He replied "if you are selling something, we don't want it". I responded "I'm not selling anything, I'm a customer. I'm trying to reach Dennis". The call was then disconnected. About an hour later I called back, hoping that the call had been inadvertently dropped. Again, the young fee-sounding man answered. I explained that I thought we had bbeen disconnected when I called earlier. He replied "please hold on a moment". I said "okay", feeling that the first call had indeed been disconnected. The call then resumed, with the older sounding gentleman answering "hello". I said "hi". The call was again discontinued and I heard silence. I cant imagine why a business would not want to speak with a person who identifies as a customer. I had a question to ask about their process and an order for food that they sell. While this was at one point my preferred spot for my vegetarian diet, I can honestly say that I would not recommend anyone go there, if their service continues at the level I experienced. Why would anyone call a business that repeatedly hangs up on customers trying to do business with them?

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

Once we entered the door we could hear a slapping sound. I walked back to where the kitchen was an saw a gal stretching a huge, long, freshly made Noodle and beating it against the table. Yup, they actually slap the shit out of these noodles before putting them it boiling water. Now scoping the restaurant while waiting we noticed that the place was filled with Asian people. Now, fancy that, an Asian noodle place filled with Asians. Now, in the San Francisco Bay area that is nothing special, but in Florida; it really tells you something. It was a simple menu, and we ordered the appetizers of Cucumber Garlic Salad, and the Chinese Peanut Salad; both of which were out of this world. The Cucumber salad, like many of the dishes at Slap had a tangy Chili Sause, with the Peanut Salad, featured small chopped celery and carrots seasoned in vinaigrette. These were sensational although to be honest, the peanuts were hard to negotiate using chop sticks. We also ordered the Pork Cabbage Dumplings. These simply exploded in your mouth; the taste, the freshness, bolstered by the sweet sauce that accompanied the massive plate of 10 dumplings. But as good as these other dishes were the superstar dish of our meal was the Beef Short Rib Chili Slap Noodles. They brought over a pair of scissors with this dish to cut the noodles which were long and fat. The Braised short rib fell off the bone and was so flavorful. We probably over ordered as we brought back some food which I'm now enjoying as I type this. I must say that this place loved it's chili oil and the inside of our mouths were still singing and dancing with us as we trucked up back to our home planet. We will be back....

The Vibe: We came on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed, which we took as a great sign--and it was. You walk through a fun outdoor patio before heading inside to order, and the space is incredibly unique--colorful, eclectic, slightly hipster, with dog photos and quirky decor everywhere. The line to order was pretty long, but we noticed a few open seats at the bar. We asked the bartender if we could order there, and she said yes--pro move. Skip the line, grab a bar seat. Drinks: We tried the house lager, which was solid and refreshing. What We Ordered: * Homemade Queso + Flavor Bomb 3 * "Famous" Pulled Pork Sandwich * "What the Fig?" Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The pineapple in the flavor bomb added the perfect touch of sweetness and made the dish really stand out. Sandwiches: Both sandwiches were excellent. The pork was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The classic pulled pork was great, but if you like bold flavors, the "What the Fig?" is the way to go--the fig jam added the perfect sweet-savory balance. Flavor-packed and messy in the best way. Sides: Sandwiches come with your choice of Miss Vickie's chips, house-made slaw, or both for $1 extra. The house-made slaw was a standout for me--fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and a unique experience from start to finish. We're already planning our next visit--and next time we're bringing our pup since they're dog-friendly and fully embrace it. Pro tip: Head straight to the bar if there's a long line--and don't skip the queso with a flavor bomb.
