As a West Coast girl, I have to say the East Coast White Castle definitely tasted different compared to the location in Vegas. We decided to stop by the drive-thru to finally try it while visiting Orlando. They were using AI to help take orders at the drive-thru, but unfortunately it kept getting our order wrong, so we ended up placing the order with a real person instead. We ordered the 20 burgers and 4 fries deal -- my husband chose 10 original sliders and 10 cheeseburgers. Personally, I enjoyed the cheeseburgers more than the originals. The sautéed onions really made the burgers flavorful and gave them that classic White Castle taste. Since we went through the drive-thru, we didn't really get a chance to explore the inside ambiance of the restaurant. I heard about White Castle from a friend, so when we were coming back from Disney, we stopped by for some sliders. We went to White Castle around 10:00 pm and were surprised to see the drive-thru and the restaurant packed. I went inside, looked at the menu, and ordered Chicken Sliders and Chicken Rings to take away. It took about 15-20 minutes for our food to come. We started with the Chicken Sliders, which were crispy, tasty, and honestly, one of the best sliders we've ever had. We arrived and it was not busy and while navigating the self order kiosk the cashier called us over and said she would be happy to take our order for us. I appreciated that. I've been seeing a lot of restaurants start to use AI at their drive-thru and White Castle is one of them. I stopped at White Castle before heading home to Tampa it was really hard ordering with the AI. It kept saying there was many items out of stock, but luckily I was able to get Alex on to help me place my order. He was so nice. Help me with my order and also get me a coupon for the inconvenience for my next visit. The wait for our food wasn't long. I only got a few things mostly their original sliders and their mozzarella sticks. Both are really good. I want to preface this review that all fast food is inherently bad for you and pretty much poison for the human body. With that being said, this White Castle location did not disappoint. I went late night and was satisfied with my craving for some sliders, fries, and onion chips. The onion chips are very good and were a large portion for a medium. So I'm not a big fan of the AI taking orders at the drive-thru. It had a hard time understanding my husband when he was ordering and he tried to order one fish slider and somehow waited up with two. He tried to tell the AI to remove one of them and then we ended up with three. So he tried again and then we ended up with four. So he said help a couple of times and it put us through to a employee. Who was able to lower the amount of fish sliders back to one. When we pulled up to the window to pay we could hear the car behind us yelling at the AI because it was misunderstanding him as well. You may be better off ordering inside. I got the fish slider and the chicken slider as well as the chicken rings. All of them were okay for fast food. I definitely prefer it to chicken options over the fish. But I wanted to give it a try because I've had the burger before and I'm not a big fan of all of the onions. The chicken rings paired well with their honey mustard sauce. I figured since I was in the area I might as well give it a try. So it wasn't exactly super romantic because the lights are bright and it is loud, because it is, after all, still White Castle, but we loved how they went all out with special menus, decorations, real cloth tablecloths, and even little battery operated candles on each table. There was also a photo op set up near the front. The servers were just so nice! I only wish they would institute a better way to tip on this one night a year, because we don't usually have cash, but since they don't typically accept tips, we couldn't tip with a card. After a long day of shopping we had decided to try out White Castle for the first time ever since it was an option that was nearby the Orlando Vineland Outlets. Now...I have had the frozen burgers before from the store so I was super excited to finally try out the restaurant itself... and I must say it was just alright... When first arriving the building itself looked huge from the outside with tons of available parking for easy access. The inside seemed clean and nicely lit. It was actually a slow night surprisingly with not that many people dining in. We were greeted immediately and everyone was very kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations. We ended up ordering a box of 20 sliders w/ onion rings, cheese fries, and mozzarella sticks. The food came out fairly quickly and I enjoyed the variety of sauces that they hooked us up with. As for the food... it was ok.. nothing really to write home about. It tasted pretty much like normal fast food. Overall, it was a good first experience at an actual White Castle restaurant. Being from Miami, we don't have White Castle easily accessible so when visiting Orlando recently we had to swing by. This location is clean & spacious, there's even a completely separate building for mobile orders so the main restaurant doesn't get overwhelmed. Upon entering there are two touch screen kiosks where you'll choose your meals & customize them to your liking. Got a couple burgers, some fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken sandwiches, even a chicken & waffle sandwich. Price wise, everything is fairly priced. They are slider style so figure around 2-3 is probably enough for a hungry person. Employees were friendly & the food was made pretty fast. Tables were clean & some even have charging ports. As someone born and raised in Jersey this is our staple we had to try. This place is huge and is something new to see. I've been here multiple times. Even on Valentine's Day last year. And to say I love the service. The ladies here are wonderful, the only thing I would say is that the cheeseburgers taste different than they do at other places. Had family from out if state that never tried them before and their unique taste won them over. We stayed traditional with plain burger, cheese onion sliders with French fries. As someone from NY visiting Orlando I was really impressed in many ways by this location of White Castle. It's very clean, and the food was much better than up north. The oil in the locations near me tastes like it hasn't been changed in weeks, at this location the French fries and onion rings tastes super fresh and amazing! I'm docking stars purely due to their drive thru system which is AI based. The first time I visited I placed my order on the left hand side drive thru machine and it completely froze, I asked for human assistance and nobody came through the intercoms so I was getting beeped at for holding up the line and decided to pull up. When I pulled up she said the order didn't come through and gave me an attitude as if it were my fault. I said the system is not working and they ignored me as if I was the idiot that didn't know how to use it. The second time I made sure to order on the right hand side and the AI thing worked although it's very annoying you can't make any alternations to your order and it hears what it wants to, the line was very long that day and took about 45 minutes to get our food. Again the food is fine, for me the customer service isn't too friendly and the drive thru system needs to be reevaluated. I'm not against the advanced technology of using AI for the drive thru but at least get it right and have people on standby to fix what's not working. read more

I ordered 12 sliders - half with cheese for myself and my husband. I ordered 2 cokes too. The cost was a little steep from what I remember, but I figured inflation hit the sliders too. They gave me two cans of coke instead of fountain which I thought was weird, but wasn't upset. The burgers were traditional and tasted just like I remembered. First time visit from Miami. AI takes order at drive thru. Didn't work. Went into restaurant to use kiosk to order. Although 10 employees getting orders prepped it took 20-25 minutes.
