To start with "Freaky Fast" should absolutely not be in there description whatsoever. I have ordered from them maybe 3 or 4 times now, mostly online and at least 2 hours before I want it delivered and EVERY SINGLE TIME it is at least 40 minutes late. My wife has a half hour to eat and she can never actually eat her lunch during her break because it's never there on time. This honestly make me furious, but what makes it even worse is there unbelievably bad customer service. Today was my final straw, they were 45 minutes late and when I called they said that they didn't know how long it would be. WHAT KIND OF RESPONSE IS THAT?! You. Are. Foodservice. Ordered food with a specific time knowing that a busy work schedule was going to limit when I could eat. when the food was 15 minutes late I called and was told it had just left the building. It didn't arrive for another hour (an hour and 15 minutes after scheduled delivery time). Wouldn't be surprising, but literally 2 blocks away! (Patient care prevented my being able to leave and pick up myself) Receipt was marked "delay" so called to ask what that meant... person who answered said that "if a bunch of orders start coming in for a particular place, they will delay them all to go out together...". Worst Jimmy John's location in town. Seriously. I love on the Southside, their service to my home, workplace and anywhere else has always been fantastic. Recently ordered from this location using their app around 7:35ish. After 30-35 minutes, I checked to see if I had an email as to when our food would be coming. The email confirmation said DELIVERY FRIDAY. We called the location, a guy said they were closed and they were not sending out anymore. I asked him to cancel and refund my order. He said he couldn't do the refund but would have someone do it the next day. We left the house maybe 15 minutes later to find something else. Came home hours later to find sandwiches on the step. No idea when they got there or how long they had been sitting there and was 80 degrees. It has been 10 days and no refund. I won't order from this location again. read more

Kind of annoying that they don't bother telling you asking for extra salami will cost almost $2 more on my Italian sandwich even though I said no capicola. I mean if I am removing one of the meats would it kill them to let me have extra of the salami? Meat is meat. I would have given a 5 star review before today. We have lived on Franklin Street for over 3 years and have ordered from them 10-15 times in that 3 year period. I had them deliver on Saturday 7/26/14 to my house and they were very quick and it was great service. I called today to have them deliver for me since my 2 year old has been throwing up, I can't leave the house with her being so sick. I was told that they don't deliver to me address! I see their delivery vehicles deliver to my neighbors all the time and we have never once had them say we are out of their delivery area. We are 3.8 miles from their location. At 3.8 miles there should be no reason they don't deliver here. They told me they have a 5 mile delivery area, so why can't they deliver here? read more

I eat here often because it's fast and easy to just grab and go without being fried like other places in the area, but they often clean and sweep when I dine in. Like shake the rugs, move tables and kick up dust and dirt kind of clean, not to mention they were mopping too. It was just after 1pm when I went in to order and as soon as I sat down I felt like it was closing time and I should be on my way out. I can understand recovering a little from the lunch rush but full blown cleaning makes customers feel like they're getting chased out. And it's unpleasant with all the dirt getting kicked up by my food. read more

This place used to be one of my top choices to go and eat. Until recently. I was getting a sub and felt something stuck in my teeth and pulled out a very long curly hair I dismissed it because I know these types of things happen but since they have great service and good food and not to mention I was very hungry. The thought of throwing the sub away because of the hair not only seemed like a waste of my hard earned money but would leave me hungry and therefore causing me to have to venture out into the cold weather and waste gas on finding another place to eat. So I thought of happy thoughts and continued on eating my sub. A few minutes later I encountered another hair. Needless to say I was beyond disgusted, not only was it the second piece of hair in my sub but it was darker in color then the first hair. I'm not sure if the employees there are required to wear hairnets but they should. I am too nice of a person that I would be embarrassed to bring the subject up to manager there. I really don't want to stop eating there but I think next time I'll try a different location. On a short note , maybe because they are so "Freaky Fast" this incident happened. read more

I love the taste of their sandwiches. They are great at making the sandwiches the way you want and they are so fast. Parking is limited but you are in and out so fast that spaces open up continually so just wait a minute or two. The employees are very nice. read more
