And looking at the stupid app there's no way to cancel my order! I would not have made the order if I would have known when I checked-out on the app it was going to say a 30 minute wait, but in hindsight 30 minutes would have been great! My particular Five Guys is always been off, but the "buy one get one" for Cheeseburger Day is/was absolutely not worth it! Lots of people have walked in to order, but the staff shut the register down and were not taking orders before we even walked in at 7pm! So people left mad... The cook making the burgers just chew out a customer that had been waiting an hour he said. The guy walked up to the counter and asked the cook how much longer, and got chewed out by the cook, and I'm not even joking, Video attached. Update: Ordered at 7:05pm, didn't get our food until 8:25pm. Then the burger wasn't even good, meat not seared, and the bun was rock hard from sitting on the grill for over an hour that I saw...and missing 2 toppings! They expected to be insanely busy, so I'm sure the design of the door was especially for those busy times!! The only thing I don't like is that you have to enter from around the other side just to get to it. There isn't a direct way into the place. Maybe this was for those busy times as well? As soon as we sat down, a basket of freshly baked bread/rolls were placed on our table. I have to say, their bread did live up to the hype. They were soft, warm, buttery, slightly sweet, and came with their famous whipped honey cinnamon-y butter. The butter was good, but I preferred eating the bread on its own since it was already slightly sweet. Also, bonus point for the free bag of peanuts on each table for dine-in guests. We ordered the 12 oz. prime rib and the 12 oz. New York Strip. For sides, we got baked potato, green beans, loaded baked potato and house salad. The baked potato was tender and fluffy on the inside, and the green beans had a lovely smokey taste because it was cooked with bacon. The house salad was your basic restaurant quality side salad, nothing special. They did deliver on the loaded baked potato as it was stuffed to the max with fixings. The meats were perfectly cooked.
