Where I live, the motto of Jimmy John's is "freaky fast." But this particular location was scary slow. When we arrived there were no employees to be found near either the cash registers or the food prep area. This too is highly unusual for a Jimmy John's, which typically has the speed and efficiency of a Ford assembly line. Five minutes later, two employees arrived. One guy both took our money and made the subs. Slowly. Also, they forgot part of our order. Once the food was done, the employees once again disappeared to their back room sanctuary. I get the feeling they aren't comfortable interacting with customers. Would probably try them again, but it's weird how they bear no resemblance to the Jimmy John's service we know and love. read more

This place is subpar. I've tried it several times, not sure why. Each time the sandwiches have sucked. I don't even have high expectations, but 30 dollars for two sandwiches you'd think they'd have more than one slice of meat. read more

Food is great service sucks. Management should think about not hiring just teenagers and maybe hiring people who want to work and be there!! Very unhappy maybe they need new management. EVERY-TIME I go there the drive through wait is at least 20 mins. Which sucks cause the sandwiches are great. I'm sure this sandwich shop will turn out just like Quiznos's. Its impossible to order online, every time we've attempted after filling out order, CC info etc it says they're unable to process order and to call location but NOBODY ever answers. we've also stopped for a quick bite before movies etc and they've been closed..at 6 freaking 30, WTF? If I could give this location zero stars I would. I'm not expecting five-star restaurant service but when I order something and I have to wait in line for 30 minutes to get 2 sandwiches, I don't need a side of attitude to go with it. Please don't act like I'm inconveniencing you with my simple order. I didn't ask for an eye roll because you couldn't hear my order. I didn't ask you to look at me like I'm wasting your time. Just 2 sandwiches to go... This isn't just a one time experience...they're pretty consistent with the terribly long wait times (signs and ads all over market "freaky fast"...I don't need THAT fast but a drive through for sandwiches should be a little fast, right?) and really bad interactions with customers. Love the staff and attitude of the owner and staff. Sandwich bread is the best. Better than other sub sandwich's. Love this place.

Extremely poor customer service. Apparently, there's a "policy" stating that they are to refuse taking a customer's order due to being "understaffed", with four employees. Really? If you're that damned "understaffed", then close your store altogether, instead of giving excuses why you're not going to do the work you were hired to do. There are plenty of other restaurants that will take food orders, who have far fewer people on staff, and won't argue with a customer. Such a shame, too, as during the height of the pandemic, TWO JJ's employees gladly filled my to-go order. And these people want $15 an hour? read more

We have been long time customers of the local Jimmy John's. The last two times I have pulled up in the drive thru to place an order I have been told that due to catering orders they will not be able to get your order for at least 10-15 minutes. Sadly it seems that the people running this place have decided to put their walk up customers on the back burner. The food is very tasty it is about what you would expect at the normal sub shop. Order a sub, maybe some chips and a drink. They make their own branded chips which you know if you were in there. Great food would definitely recommend. read more

I went here a week or so ago and they were out of BREAD! It's a sandwich shop! It was a major bummer. I tried again a few days ago, and they were out of pickles. Crazy how they were out of things twice in a row. I'm curious how often it happens. Their house made dijon mustard is to die for though! Kaitlyn is an exceptional employee and if she chooses to work at Jimmy Johns I can only assume it's an exceptional place to work. Our order was great, exactly the way we ordered it and exactly what our grandson wanted after receiving chemotherapy in Spokane. Her attitude and kindness were truly a blessing to us at that time. She is amazing at being friendly and professional and is truly an asset to the Jimmy John chain. Jimmy John's is my go to sandwich shop. Great to see that they opened a new one across the parking Lot from Red Lion hotel.

Normal jimmy johns food. So that's good. However. Going through the drive through, ask for mustard twice. Get the food, zero mustard. Walk inside and ask for 4 mustard packets, they give you 3. Wtf? This isn't rocket science. Also, going through drive through, they handed me a drink with orange soda all over it, and no napkins. Crap service gets a 1 Star. read more

First time at Jimmy Johns, order a unwrapped regular #5 ,with all the extras, lots of luttice which is nice plenty of dressing so it wasn't bland , Now here's the BUT. .....No tomato or cucumbers or mustard if it was in it it could have been in the dressing,? New Jimmy Johns customer! I've only eaten at Jimmy Johns 3 times, all at the Lewiston location. All in all, as advertised, fast and pretty good. You don't get all the options for your sandwich like some places, but the subs are pretty good. The turkey tom and club house are so far my go to, but curious to try others. On my most recent visit, evidently the person at the drive thru thought I needed to expand my options. I ordered 2 club house subs, and after reaching home realized I received i club house and something else. I'm assuming it was an Italian or something similar. It had salami and other mystery meat, no turkey or ham. The sandwich was ok, but i'm not a huge salami fan, so definitely not as good as the club house or turkey tom. All in all, still give Jimmy Johns 2.5 stars. Would have given them 4 if they hadn't screwed up my most recent order. Fast is good, accurate is better. read more

First time to any Jimmy John's. Long time valley residents. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were made with high quality and fresh produce. We were surprised by the construction of the sandwiches, but then we are not used to ordering here. For example, I ordered a tuna club. I think I know what a club sandwich is. But it was a sub! Okay, it was still good, other than a little bland - a sauce offering would have helped. Two sandwiches, two soft drinks, and two chips brought our bill to $21.00. The medium drinks were $1.90 and the chips were 1.50. I'm thinking this is on the high side. We were there about 1:30 and there was only one other couple in the place, but it was very noisy. Not the place to go if you intended to visit or do some business during lunch. The construction was not made to dampen the sound. I couldn't identify the type of music being played. We will give it some time before trying it again. read more

I ordered a large #2. That's what I got. The mayo was thicker than the meat. Hardly any lettuce or tomatoes. I thought Jimmy John's would put subway out of business. I went into the restaurant to get a menu to take home. I was excited to have a sandwich shop that delivers and have been told that the food is good! I asked if they delivered up to the Orchards and was told they deliver up to Bryden Ave. in the Orchards. I live between Bryden Ave. and Burrell Ave. so 1/2 block above Bryden. They told me they couldn't deliver to my house! Boy was I disappointed and said so. Apologies were given and I was told that it was a corporate rule that could not be broken. I probably won't be having any Jimmy John's anytime soon and yes, I am disappointed, I really wanted something besides pizza delivered. read more
