This was our 1st visit! And we loved it! A great place to stop when driving through town. We had the humble burger, fried chicken sandwich fries and mocha shakes! Burger was fresh and flavor. Chicken sandwich super yummy, I lived the sauce and homemade pickles. The fries might be my favorite, and don't forget the amazing fry sauce. We were able to sit outside with our dog at a table. The only thing I'd ask is if the sidewalk was cleaner, I'm not sure if that's a city job or not. We will be back for sure!!!! read more

Check out Rachel B. review from March 8. She is spot on! Overall a great meal at a great price. Another review here is annoyed with them charging fry sauce. I am ok with that...if it was larger than a thimble! I agree that this is kind of ridiculous...super small portion... they certainly are not losing $ on fry sauce! Come on HB...give the people what they want! Combo includes a soda which you can get a bottled gourmet soda (Weinhards Black Cherry, yum). But overall...this is a good place. read more

Humble Burger - Fries are delish too. Check out the tiny fry sauce though (sad face emoji here). - Burgers Near Me - Moscow, Idaho

Burgers were super tasty, and I love the college town burger joint feel. Staff was really cool and made sure we were happy with what we ordered. Our daughter's boyfriend asked me (her dad) if he could ask her to marry him. humble burger will always be special for that ! read more

This place is really good. Very basic burgers but they are still really good. The service was good too & wait time was good. I think I can use the word "good" one more time for good measure. read more

I got a double cheese burger it was really good, next time I think I'll just get a single because the patties were much bigger than expected. It had nice flavor but a bit salty, good sauce, and I really enjoyed the pickles. Seemed to be house made or fresh pickled cucumbers, some sweet with a tang. The service was super nice and fast plus the inside was nice and cool/easy to navigate. read more

Delicious smash burger. The service was very fast and friendly. The fries were a bit crunchy and I probably wouldn't get them again. But the burger was amazing. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and family friendly. read more

I made the mistake of ordering the veggie burger as it was very dry so I assume it was overcooked.

I used to really enjoy Humble Burger, but charging $0.50 for a tiny container of fry sauce is honestly ridiculous. Fry sauce used to be free, like it should be. Now they're nickel-and-diming customers over something that probably costs them pennies. And it's not even a large portion. It's a tiny plastic cup that barely covers a small order of fries. If you actually want enough sauce to dip comfortably, you're suddenly paying an extra dollar or more. For sauce. It just feels cheap. When you're already paying premium prices for burgers and fries, adding a surcharge for basic condiments leaves a bad taste in your mouth before you even start eating. It makes the whole experience feel less "local burger joint" and more "how can we squeeze another dollar out of you?" So disappointing they have become such a cheap nickel and dime place. read more

Love Humble Burger's new location in Downtown Moscow! Clean interior with plenty of seating - even a few place outside! I love that people can watch the food being made, and the staff is so friendly! Limited menu, but it's so hearty and they cater to those who are GF! I wish they had more conventional drinks (Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, etc), but the food itself surpasses my complaints about drinks! Hefty and filling and they even have a punch card for items you know you're going to order again and again! The meat, I believe, is locally sourced too. Excellent establishment! read more

Very tasty smash burger which is simple and straight to the point. Meat, cheese(xtra cost) pickle, red onion, and their humble sauce(which is like a mac sauce with more flavor). They use a good bun too! Fries were on point and i like skin on. They were fairy priced for the burger but a lil pricey on other items. Also they lacked options like adding bacon! That's the only reason they didn't get a five star. Service was great with a gastropub like ambience you'd expect with a burger place. Chai milkshake was worth the buy but wish it was larger cuz it was delicious. All in all, if you're lookin for a burger outside the fast food norm. This is a good spot! read more

Food was great! Love a good smash burger and fries that come with Fry Sauce, not ketchup. I'm not a fan of people who sit and take up space when they've finished their food, particularly when space is limited. I think it's up to the staff to help these people along especially if they're no longer ordering/buying more things to consume on the property. Move along y'all. Humble Burger - #1 combo - comes with fries and a bottled soda - Burgers Near Me - Moscow, Idaho

The Humble Burger and fries were simply top notch. All ingredients were fresh and delicioso. First burger we had on a 7 day road trip and it likely ruined the chances for any other burger to compete. read more

Food and service is outstanding. Definitely recommend this place for a great burger. Only downside is they don't have a lot of seats inside but there are seats outside in the back. read more

Humble Burger makes the best smash burger I've ever had. I love that they don't shy away from what a smash burger is supposed to be: thin patty with extra crispy smashed edges, awesome pickles (I always get extra), grilled onions, American cheese, special sauce, and a solid bun. It's a no-frills burger but the flavor beats most burgers you can find for even more money. You can tell that they care a lot about the ingredient quality and the food is generally very consistent even when they are packed. If you're looking for a thicker pub style burger it might not be for you, but if you appreciate the smash style burger you cannot miss this place. read more

Amazing burgers. Very unique flavor profile - great simplicity. Awesome service too. Highly recommend this place!

Asked for a recommendation from coffee shop next door and this is where they pointed me. I almost walked out when I saw the burger is really plain and one of the things they put on the burgers is sweet pickles (not dill) Decided to give it a go anyways minus the pickles and somehow the burger was still incredible. Next time I'm rolling through - I'm bringing my family here. read more

My favorite burger. Most everything is homemade. I recommend a single patty. I try to go every time im in Moscow.

If you want your burgers bloody and mooing, this isn't the place for you. If you want crispy caramelized edges and delectable sauce, go here. Be prepared for a bit of a wait though -- this isn't McDonald's and everyone else wants one of these! read more

I'm going to keep this review short & simple. Decent service. Great burger 10/10 really. Fries were terrible didn't even seem fully cooked. & the large fry was actually not that large lol The nuggets were more batter than chicken, and just not good overall & the sauce cup was so small the nuggets didn't fit. But again the burger did what it was supposed to do. read more

The thin and crispy edges and Special sauce makes humble burger the best burger joint in Moscow! Their fries are also pretty great especially with their own world famous fry sauce! When available the Chicken sandwich is pretty good too! Personal service is great, no impersonal kiosk here, just great folks making great food. Eat in or outside both spaces are clean and comfortable. read more

The food was great however, they weren't following proper procedures with handling food. I constantly saw food being handled without gloves like the cheese burger bread, and burger meat. I saw the bottle opener fall multiple times on the floor and was never cleaned. While I was waiting for an hour to get our food I saw only one person wash their hands one time. Finally after the last ten minutes we were here two people out of the 5 put on gloves. The rate is all based on how the food was handled. read more

The burger is one of the best in town, plus a good price. The ranch is the best ranch you'll ever try, so make sure to get it. I do recommend getting an extra meat patty since there is a lot of bread though. Also I recommend doing take-out because the place is usually packed and not enough seating. Otherwise the food is great. read more

Best burger I've had in a long time definitely would get again super crispy and chewy at the same time

Just OK. Wouldn't come here again. The hamburger was over sauced, the meat to bun ratio was too high, and the onions were placed incorrectly at the bottom of the bun instead of on the top next to the pickles. Overall, it just wasn't a satisfying hamburger. The French fries were over saturated with oil and needed some salt. Wait time for food was also pretty high. I think Five Guy's set the bar for how long it should take to get your food. It should be very quick. The open kitchen model also makes the restaurant super loud. It was so loud you could barely hear the music and had to shout to talk to somebody else. Again, it also fell short compared to Five Guy's in that it didn't even have a self service station for salt and pepper. You have to ask the front house staff. Overall, not that good. Hoping they will improve and get better in the future. read more

The burger patty itself was good in a thin patty, crisped on the edges way and the fries were good, not great too. Looked like fresh made fries. No lettuce They have house made sparkling lemonade. I drink lots of lemonade I make, thiers was different but good. It comes in a 12 oz glass. No refills. Water was from a big jug on the counter, ice got it somewhat below room temp. The order of fries came with one small paper sauce holder. I bought another for a quarter. We were the only customers inside and a mostly empty grill still seemed like a long wait. read more

Took over half an hour for me food and the place was not busy. Really good food but wow what a wait for a simple burger.

burgers are delicious and the way they are grilled adds flavor and texture restaurant staff is laid back and pleasant read more

This is the best burger on God's green Earth. If you don't like smash burgers, grow up. The buns are soft and like pillows supporting the main cast of beef and cheese and pickles and onions and special sauce. I want to take a bath in the special sauce. The pickles are homemade and you can really taste it. The lacy bits of crispy beef on the patties almost bring me to tears. I get a number 1 combo with a burger and their crispy, crispy fries (always add cheese) every time. For my drink, I alternate between their iconic homemade ginger lemonade, a local cider/beer, and one of their scrumptious milkshakes. Bring back the French Toast Milkshake!! When I eventually have to move away from the Palouse, I will shake my fist to the heavens and swear, for I shall lose the food experience that has brought me true meaning. Eating here is a near religious experience and I recommend it for all. read more

Burgers get 5 star Fries get a 2 star Drinks get No star They were out of bottled soda, the only thing they offer, and the lemonade is horrible! Not sure why the busiest burger shop in Moscow can't sell fountain sodas??! Sure makes a burger better to drink a soda! Thank God Mingles is across the street with soda read more

First thought of this place is hipster hang out. loud boomy music but cant quite make out the vocals. just a steady boom boom boom. small crew working seems busy. long line. the girl taking orders actually stopped taking order 2x because their clothesline that holds the orders filled up. ordered a 2 doubles, fries and soda. their soda selections are goofy canned things like kombucha and no sugar cola and fancy italian flavored water. they did have house mage lemonade and ginger lemonade. we tried the lemonade. it was good but a very small cup. burgers were ok. good flavor but burned around the edges. fries were small, broken and not crispy. not the best not the worst. would definitely give them another try. read more

Visiting from out of town and wanted a good burger at a reasonable price. Humble Burger knocked it out of the park. Burger was perfectly seared and smashed. Housemade sauces were impeccable. Great beer selection. Service was fast and friendly. Price was great and location is perfect in downtown Moscow. Perfect experience, no notes, loved it! read more

Nice place! I love the modern exterior and interior of this burger joint. Staff was busy when we came in for lunch but we ordered quickly and food was out before we knew it. I got the #2 Double Humble Burger combo with fries and a Ginger Lemon Lemonade. Fries were good, I wasn't obsessed with the fry sauce just because I think it had dill in it. It just wasn't my kind of fry sauce. The burger was good but a double was so much bigger than I thought it'd be! Next time around I think I'll downsize my meal. But give this place a try, it seems to be a Moscow must! read more

Great smashed burger, nice seasoning. Quick even though busy. I'll try the milkshakes next time. read more

Humble Burger is a nice little place in downtown Moscow. More of a modern, trendy look rather than a classic burger joint, which I am not a huge fan of. First of all, they get bonus points for fiscal policy. I ordered a meal but didn't want a drink, and they didn't charge for the full meal. Took like a buck off. Either that or my mental math abilities are just awful. Regardless, most people probably don't care that much but I thought I would mention it. More for just the thought rather than the dollar. Burger was very good. Hand made, good quality meat. Melted cheese, good bun. Big fan. Fries were a different story. Stringy and not cooked right. Small fry bag was too small, which I would have cared about more if the fries were better, but just in case people like those kind of fries get a large. Part B of fiscal policy- this place is too expensive. The buck off was nice but in my personal opinion the burger and fries were too much. And that could be connected to the fact that I didn't like the fries much... but overall that was my opinion. Would consider going again, but it is more likely try something else. read more

Simple menu, super well made burger. Look this isn't 86 ways to have a burger. Flat top meat, brioche bun, cheese, sauce and house pickles. Get a beer for $2. Great place for fries too, super crispy. Food is amazing, burgers, and fries have great taste and texture. Can be a little bit slow at times but all around pretty good. Only reason it's not a full five stars is the fry sauce. Container is tiny and they charge extra if you want more. They would at least give two or 3 ounces read more
