Best customer service and amazing sandwiches and always very fast!!! Best location in the area

After being a huge fan of Blimpie, Subway and Jersey Mike's, I thought I'd give Jimmy John's. First the bread is very skinny. Next they don't have many veggies at all (I prefer lots of veggies). Then they rip the bread out of one side (which I'm paying for something I'm not getting). Their meats and cheeses are pre-sliced elsewhere, placed on storage then shipped when ordered. Not any different from Subway but totally different from Jersey Mike's which freshly slices as the make the sandwich. That's why Jersey Mike's coldcuts have a better taste. Then the deal breaker, they only have an oil vinegar mix. You can't just get vinegar. Problem is some people don't want fattening oil or can't have oil. And their price is just $2 less than Jersey Mike's but $3 more than Subway, all of which are in the same area. I went to the drive thru and ordered the #7 combo. The cashier was rude and keep staring at me funny like I just killed a member of her family. I do not know what is going on. I was completely nice to her. The sandwich is good though. Hmm...that experience just confused me. Why did the cashier put in an extra effort to show her distaste for me? Today I tried Jimmy Johns from this location. Thanks to the generously of my co-workers I got to try the Pepe, which I thought would be rather plain and boring, but my tastebuds were surprised by the amount of flavor that was in the sandwich! The bread is soft and crisp (can really taste the freshness in the bread). My only gripe is the mayo was a little too overpowering, I would've like a slight dusting of mayo instead of a heaping portion. Overall I was satisfied with this experience. I may have to go in myself and see if my experience is the same getting it delivered as it is in store. read more

I'm say I was disappointed with my order today. I decided to use the drive through for a quick lunch Option. The customer service was great, but my food was not. I ordered a #15 unwich and when I tried to eat it it fell apart cause the just wrapped a bunch of lettuce in the paper to hold it together. Staff were great. Completed transaction quickly. Nicely explained my options. Sandwiches were made way quicker than I expected. I thought they would be a mess having been made so quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to find picture perfect sandwiches. The parking situation was tough in such a small area. Entering and exiting the driveway can be a challenge if not making a right turn into or out of the driveway. We have ordered from JJ's many times over the last couple years with varying degrees of success. Today, though, required a public review just so other customers can be aware before they order what to expect... Ordinarily, I appreciate their speed and the politeness of their delivery people. I rarely have any trouble getting the food here (which says a LOT; our apartment is buried is a huge complex and drivers often have to call me for directions because they can't find the place). And, on average if there are order mistakes, they are minor; a missing item they are quick to replace or something. Today, however, I chose to try their new "large" size sandwich. I paid an extra $2 for avocado on a massively huge double sized (about 15 inches) sandwich. It came with none. My daughter's sandwich was completely wrong, but I am unsure if that was my error, the apps, or the store, TBH, so I don't hold that against them. I called the store just to ask that they refund the extra charge back to my card since the $2 worth of avocado was not present. They asked me to look again. I took apart the WHOLE sandwich to confirm, no....... I was very correct. But a refund? They can't DO that. *blink* Excuse me? They could offer credit for a sandwich in the future but I could not use the app to order, if I wanted to use it... which is, of course, HOW we order, generally. So.... this helps how? Finally, the manager offered to send out the sandwich my daughter had originally wanted (which was half the price of if the sandwich credit they were offering) and avocado on the side for my 15 inch sandwich. Sounded like a great compromise! Fast forward to second delivery. My daughter gets her sandwich, which is good. My "avocado" was less than a tablespoon smeared between some provolone cheese. For a double length sub. WTF? It was almost insulting. But, my kid was happy, so I let it go and thought "hey, at least they tried". Then I realized they nearly poisoned my kid and THAT is why I am posting. My daughter is a Type 1 Diabetic. One of the reasons we chose JJ's is because we can get an accurate carb count to give her insulin so she can eat without her blood sugar getting dangerously high. When I placed my order, I also ordered a large lemonade for myself and a DIET (read: no sugar) Coke for my daughter. Her blood glucose level should be about 120 on average at any given time. About two hours after she finishes eating, I get an emergency alert on her blood glucose monitor that her blood sugar is a whopping ***400+***!!!!! These are numbers that if not immediately reduced will put her in the hospital and potentially a diabetic coma! When we examined HOW this happened, it would seem instead of giving us the DIET coke we ordered, they gave her REGULAR, sugary coke, which she was not capable of processing. Again... are you freaking KIDDING me?! We have spent the rest of the day doing everything in our power to repair the damage to my child's health. It is 6:45 pm right now, and we had lunch about 1:30pm... my daughter's blood sugar is still over 350. If it doesn't come down soon, I am going to have to start testing that the high glucose levels aren't causing ketones in her blood which will eventually cause ketoacidosis, a dangerous blood sickness that is a result of length blood sugar highs that literally makes one's blood acidic and can lead to coma and death, if untreated. I am NEVER trusting Jimmy John's with drink orders again, as they are fountain drinks and there is no way to verify what they are without imbibing them. I am deathly allergic to artificial sweeteners, so I can't test it ahead of time, and I cannot trust them not to be wrong. I gave them two stars for the partial attempt to fix the sandwich. But I can't trust them any longer. So, my advice... if you have no dietary restrictions and don't care about order mishaps, they're great. If you do.... just go to Togo's-- they actually have HOT sandwiches (like pastrami) and give you sealed drinks in bottles so you know EXACTLY what you are putting into your body. read more

They make my job easier as a receptionist when signing for the sandwich and knowing who its for. One could say Jimmy truly mastered the art of simplicity in food and with fast, fun and friendly service to top it off. There's a certain "je ne sais quoi" about JJ's ingredients coming together especially the fresh bread. There's nothing particularly unique about the sandwiches itself... I hear everything is made and cut fresh throughout the day. I would certainly put them at the top of any list when it comes to fresh sandwich chains. Store fronts have always been creatively decorated with fun signs and messages. This location is no exception. It's just fun to read some of the crazy things they put up. It helps this one seems always busy and clean. The guide to peeing styles in the men's restroom was hilarious. I had a kick out of that. The Emilie gal that works there is pretty awesome too. I ordered on a day that they were swamped and short drivers. They were not freaky fast, but that's ok with me. I understand situations happen, it's how they dealt with the situation that earns them the five stars. The sandwich was delayed, but still delicious and and exactly how I ordered it. I called to check on it. The girl who answered sounded busy and racing a mile a minute. She was courteous and checked my sandwiches status. When my driver got there, he was kind and courteous even though you could tell he was stressed. He remained professional with me and earned my respect. I called the store awhile later, so I didn't bother them when I knew they were busy, to give a compliment on my wonderful experience. Wow what a sad day for Jimmy & John too. I called in to place an order and the first guy answers and says please hold and completely forgets about me. So i hang up and call back. The nexy guy answers and he sounds like he's about 69 yrs old and EXTREMELY hard of hearing. I literally repeated EVERYTHING I said back to him. The most excruciating part was when he took down my debit card info. There's 16 digits and he's seriously typing each digit every 3 secs. If you've ever typed a sentence before you would understand exactly how long it was taking. Then after all that repeating and all the the slow typing he has the audacity to still get it wrong and have to go back and retype it in again. Lol by this point I'm actually fuming and wanting to hang up but I stick it out till the end, only to have this old fart hang up in my face. They're lucky that Yelp wont allow 0 stars. read more

Excellent place to order lunch! Especially since I often can't leave my office for food, I really appreciate that they deliver! The food is always tasty, and the employees are very friendly. There have been times that they are short staff or short delivery drivers, but the few times I've had to call to check in, they are very courteous and patient, even when I can tell they are super busy. People sometimes have off days, but I've never had a bad experience with them! read more

Super bummed about this place. I had a really rough experience with one of their drivers once who just rudely barged into my office (which we are a locked down and secure facility) and she practically pushed me out of the way to get to my desk to have me sign the receipt. I told the manager and He was great and gave me a $15 credit.... the problem was the credit was never applied so I had to try and explain my situation to the next manager. She was nice enough to honor it and let me have the $15 credit. So now I am using the $15 credit and my driver gets completely LOST!! And don't get me wrong, some addresses are difficult.... but when I am LITERALLY across the street and I can see your front door and it takes you 25 mins to bring me my sandwich.... that just isn't "Freaky Fast" The driver called to tell me she was lost about 15mins after I ordered. Then at 25mins I called the store and they tried to tell me that she wasn't lost but had 15+ orders to deliver. I'm confused.... isn't your motto "Freaky Fast"?!?!? Why would you put 15+ orders to ONE DRIVER. This store is just disorganized all around and cant seem to figure it out. Such a bummer, because the sandwiches are so good. I looove jimmy johns. I love sandwiches they have and how quick it is all made. I love the turkey, lettuce,tomato, cucumber, mayo, and avocado spread sandwhich (add bacon) !! It is soo delicious! Why is it so hard to get Mayo and Mustard packets included with your delivery from this location? The receipt clearly says "TAKE" on both, but I only receive them on maybe 1 of every 6-7 requests.
