First time eating at Jimmy John. Was really excited to try it since growing up in Texas I always heard commercials. Just never got around to trying it. I will for sure not be coming back. First off I really didn't like that they couldn't just add mayo or mustard to my order. Secondly the amount of avocado I was given on my sandwich was an absolute joke. Highly disappointed in my first experience here. I will say this though, our sandwiches came out extremely quickly which was nice. Staff was very friendly. read more

12/19/2023, about 8:00 PM. I waited in the truck while my wife went in to order for our family. As my wife scanned the menu, I watched from the car as the female cashier repeatedly wiped her runny nose with her palm and the back of her hand--an absolutely disgusting habit, especially in a food establishment. I sent my son into the restaurant to tell my wife not to order and to come back to the car. We will never patronize this location again. Why does Jimmy John's have such a poorly mannered person working around food? Is there not a manager in this store? read more

The staff we encountered during our visit were very rude and short with us. My daughter ordered a combo and they didn't ring it up as a combo so she had to pay two separate transactions because they didn't ring up a drink and chips. So a combo that should have been $9 something ended up being $11. When she asked for a combo to begin with! The sandwiches were just ok. I had a beach club and it literally had the tiniest amount of avocado spread. You definitely couldn't taste it at all! I asked for a side of Mayo and the lady who I think was a manager looked disgusted that I even asked and then told me it would be a min. Love me some Jimmy John's! I always order delivery service from this location to my workplace and it is fast, easy, and always correct. Did I mention that the employees are also very friendly? My go-to is always the vegetarian, add peppers and Dijon (and if I'm feeling naughty, some slices of bacon). Get a dill pickle instead of chips (although the chips are yummy) for a nice change-up! read more

Ordered through the app and my delivery coming missing a sandwich combo. When I called, the attendant was rude and dismissive. I guess she could not care less, since she makes her salary does not matter if people eats there or not. She never asked me what was missing, or checked if what I received matches the price I had payed or if I would like to have the missing items delivered (and I was ok paying for if needed). When I asked for the missing receipt she insisted I was mistaken and the receipt was with the deliver order. Anyway, I did not make a fuss about, but I deleted the app and will never order or eat at Jimmy John's again. read more

I have been coming here for a while and recently this place has gone downhill. First of all during Covid, there were several employees that never wore their masks but really the reason for this review is the attitudes of this place are unbelievable. I walked in today and the same employee who constantly has an attitude literally rolled her eyes when we came in as if we were interrupting her day. Please find a new job, you know who you are. There are a number of sandwich shops to choose from these days but if you want a fresh sandwich done right the first time and super quick jimmy johns is tge only way to go. I don't usually complain about minor order mistakes but this was just uncalled for. I ordered the ranch to go with both pickles, was charged for them but they didn't bring them with the order. I asked for no lettuce on one sandwich and no cucumbers on the second sandwich. They ignored BOTH requests. Didn't say anything when they walked in to delivery. He stood there and said my total. I moved to Jacksonville a couple weeks ago and was super excited to see that there's a Jimmy Johns here! I came by one of my first days in town and have come back several times since. The employees are really friendly and they make sandwiches SUPER fast. I'm talking 60 seconds fast. I absolutely love their bread and their #9 Italian Night Special (Italian meats, cheese, mayo, thinly sliced onion, shredded lettuce, tomato and a yummy vinaigrette) and #3 Tuna are my favorites. Gotta add the free hot peppers too! My only gripe is that you can't get a free water cup, you have to pay for a cup. read more

Went to eat there. Was told it did not matter how wanted my food served that I was paying for. Manager would not Put vinegar only on my sandwich. Oil and vinegar mix take it or leave it . They do not offer just vinegar despite seeing at least 6 gallons of it sitting on shelf in plain sight. I will not be spending my money there anymore. I had a horrible experience. When I walked in all employees were sitting there on their phone. No one greeted. When I went to order the kid ordering said absolutely nothing. Not "how can I help you?" 0 words left his mouth. Then while waiting for my "freaky fast" subs I was standing there as another poor excuse of an employee almost ran into me to sit at the booth directly behind me just to sit down without saying excuse me or anything. At least I can say their establishment was clean inside. Me and my husband went to this one because we are from California and the ones there are amazing. He picked up our sandwiches which weren't that difficult to make. When I got mine it was ok but the thing is why Would you drench an entire sandwich in mayonnaise. It was oozing out like they put the entire bottle in it. I received the beach club which was suppose to have avocado spread on it and there was no avocado till the very end which I didn't even get to eat since the mayonnaise was such a turn off. Greeted immediately, friendly staff, very clean, great service. I was told it was expensive to eat here, but I disagree. 5-6 bucks per sandwich, and about 2 bucks for chips and a drink. For the longest, I was hesitant on getting jimmy johns. The only sub places that I was willing to go to were Sub-Station II and Jersey Mikes. So, I finally decided to order Jmmy John's and have them deliver to me last week. I must say, they are good. The delivery is fast and the food is tasty. You can either go in and order or order online. I ordered online and it was easy. You also have the option to save your last order online so that way all you have to do is click the button to order again and you are all set. You can also edit those previous orders. Went here for a late night sandwich. Good centralized location, but small delivery range. You can always call up to order and have your food ready to pay for as soon as you arrive. Friendly staff and very clean place. Nice quite atmosphere and the subs always are packed with lots of meat. They also have a different variety of chips. I would tell people to eat here over some other sub spots in the area. read more

The sandwiches are nothing special. With the rave reviews we gave it a try. Over priced sub that left my husband and I pretty disappointed. The bread was the best part. I ordered avocado on mine as an extra and got a dab of what looked to be runny guacamole. Very stingy with the extras. 2 subs with chips and 2 drink cost us around $24. Jimmy John's oh how I wanted to love you but was very disappointed. For one you were out of French Bread it didn't bother us as we prefer wheat but about 15 left because of this. Another thing one of your staff was talking about customers so loud it made for an uncomfortable. I won't completely write this place off and will chalk it up to immature staff and an off day but it will be awhile before we return or I use this company for catering. read more

I am sad with the customer service aspect of this shop. My first time in there and I am trying to make wise choices and I choose a slim roast beef sandwich. As an after thought I inquire about adding oil & vinegar and the manager goes into this dialogue about how the slim is the cheapest sandwich they offer and oil & vinegar are considered part of the vegetables???? I stopped him right there... I understand the concept of food costs. I do not accept that 4 cents worth of oil & vinegar for flavor is going to break the bank... I ordered dinner from here tonight at 609 pm. Figured it would take a little longer because of the time and then they would have to cross over Western, against traffic, to come towards my house. They were here at 621 pm. I don't think I could even get to my car and drive there that fast. Much impressed. Always great food and the drivers are always nice.
