This was my first time trying Jimmy John's and I feel like I missed out! I customized my order: Roast Beef, Lettuce (xxxxtra lettuce), Jimmy's Mustard, Onion, Oregano & Basil. That beef was so perfect! I'd usually be afraid of overly salty meats but this was definitely not at all salty. Really just the right amount. That mustard was also quite distinct and good too. I also asked for extra lettuce (on the side too) and they were happy to give me some. Only wish they had an option to toast the subs and make them hot! I have written maybe 3 reviews ever in my life for any business, I am not one to complain publicly, but this place needs to change something. This has got to be the slowest and most dysfunctional Jimmy John's out there. I'm local and have stayed away for a few months because it is always so slow, no matter what time of day. Things like having the ice machine filled and tea ready to be served are also affecting it beyond the freaky slow speed of things. The drive thru is sometimes a 25 minute wait. read more

Was in drive thru for 45 minutes until 1:05 pm. Excuse was a recent large catering order. Jimmy John's has not been freaky fast for sometime but this was ridiculous. If you only have 3 people on staff maybe don't take catering orders after 10:15 to 1:30. Just sad for Gretna and those who are one a time schedule. read more

If you're looking to get your food in a timely manner, you should pack a lunch, It's gonna be awhile. Like watching paint dry.

First off I got to say it is a chain restaurant there is nothing special about there food from any other Jimmy John's or to compare it to other sub restaurants. With that being said The friendly smiles and willingness to help me choose my sub makes them stand out from most other places that I have ordered from. Knowing that your customers are your only source of revenue and keeping them happy is so very important and they are really able to shine in that area. We don't eat bread and we order the "Unwich" when we come here and it does taste amazing. Very awful experience with Jimmy Johns. The lady that delivered my food was very strange, and there was something off about her. She kept asking if I want to sign a receipt to leave her a tip, but I refused because I had already given her a cash tip. She kept persisting that I sign the receipt and leave a tip amount, and after refusing, she turned around and showed me her back surgery scar that was under her shirt, so I could feel bad for her and tip her more or something. Don't know what she was trying to achieve by showing me her scar. I don't appreciate people pandering for more money at my door. Over all, very unsatisfied with my experience at Jimmy Johns, and they need to be careful with who they have delivering for them. Drive thru is always speedy and one thing I love about this place is its consistency. If it doesn't happen, the owner will make it right!

On my order I asked for my sandwich to be cut in half - it was not. I ordered a Coke - Got Dr. Pepper Asked for NO ICE - I got Ice Left my order on the front counter without notifying anyone It doesn't take much extra time to double-check the order for accuracy. I'm going through the drive-through the Lady in flannel shirt inside was touching all the bread on the shelves without gloves rotating them with her bare hands. When we confronted staff about it they said they would tell the manager, gross I would highly recommend going elsewhere. Yet another sandwich place in Gretna. Thought I would try the JJ here hoping it was better than the one in elkhorn. It wasn't. Why is the bread so hard? I got the wheat bread and the crust was hard as a rock. Plus, it is mid august so why did I get a green tomato. I gave them 2 stars because the meat tasted good and the delivery driver was very nice.
