Best bread i've had at any Jimmy Johns ever! Perfectly cooked. Good job y'all. Also freaky fast.

I love Jimmy Johns but seriously it's a chain. I can make a better sandwich. Go to a local and stop chain yanking!

I love places like Linda's. Out East, we call them diners. Linda's is more of a roadside cafe…read more The menu is immense, with an all-day breakfast. Most items are homemade. On this lunch outing, we were with our daughter and cozied up to the counter. Linda's often has a line waiting for a table. My wife loved her French Dip, and our daughter said her Eggs Benedict was fantastic. I was excited to see liver and onions on the menu, but alas, it was beef liver and tougher than a junk yard dog. Service was fun, professional, and accepting. I came from a meeting and was wearing a stylish, trendy suit, not the usual attire at Linda's. However, I was dealt with just fine. No one gave a rip. Prices are cheap, cheap, cheap.

We figured most places would be busier because it was the day after New Year's Day. We waited just under 15 minutes to be seated. The staff did the best they could to accommodate each party that came in, while moving through the line to fill tables quickly. I will say the café is on the tighter side. The booths are small, and the tables...well, they're kinda on top of each other. A couple who frequents the café recommended we try the "Fritter Toast". It comes in three flavors. We ordered the blueberry and let me tell you, KNOCK OUT! I wish I had only ordered that! I did order a breakfast special and it was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary for a breakfast joint. The food came relatively quickly and the portion size was big! Especially the pancakes. I will say, and other reviewers say the same, if you're looking for a small town feel, with friendly staff, Lindas' has some work to do. We didn't feel welcomed. Some of the staff were down right crabby and standoffish. If we don't go back, I won't be sad. But, I will need to figure out a way to get my hands on the fritter toast.

The bread on it was so soft, perfect thickness for a sammy. Very satisfying and a hearty size. Came with a bag of chips. Will be stopping again! However, after being here a handful of times, I've experienced pretty much the same level of customer service with each visit. Walk in, stand there for a bit without being greeted while watching the woman finished her task, wait for her to be ready for me to place my order, and kinda end up feeling like I'm bugging her by doing so. Not welcoming or seeming happy by my presence. (Not that I'm someone to be excited about by any means, but like... I don't know. I'm a customer trying to support a local business?) The first time this happened, I tried to just shake it off and assume this person had a crazy day, been working hard and just 'can't even' at this point. Just wanna give the benefit of the doubt, because I'm not exactly a people person either. However, after my fourth or fifth time now, I've had this same experience where I for some reason feel like I should be apologizing to her for ordering. I don't know, man. The food is top notch. I love it. But I guess I'm disappointed with the lack of any bit of enthusiasm whatsoever, and the level of awkwardness I feel from the staff because of that. (?) I'll likely keep ordering food from Greenrock, because like I said, it's definitely great. Just hoping the customer service part will improve.
