I didn't get any photos this time because I was rushing in and out for lunch between work meetings,…read morebut I'll definitely be back! This place is a neat little hidden-but-not-so-hidden gem! Hidden from the influencers, maybe, but certainly not from the surrounding community! I stopped in on a Friday right at noon, and their small parking lot was nearly full. The crowd seemed to be a mix of local office workers and blue-collar guys, which is usually a good sign! How to order: Walk in, grab a drink from the refrigerator, and head right toward the big hanging menu. When it's busy, the ladies behind the deli counter will holler over and ask what sandwich you want before you even make it to the register! Place your order, grab some chips or cake from the shelf or display case, and continue right to the register. By the time you've paid, your sandwich is practically ready to grab. They've got the system down! I ordered the St. Paul Special, and it was delicious! I was starving after my earlier workout, so I devoured the whole thing pretty quickly. It had a great balance of meat, bread, and veggies, with nothing overpowering the rest. My only wish? More of their special sauce! You can also customize your subs. I overheard plenty of people hollering their preferences across the counter: no tomatoes, no pickles, and so on. It's casual, efficient, and part of the charm! There's also a surprising amount of seating inside, which I wasn't expecting from the outside. Overall, great old-school, divey deli vibes! Nothing fancy or pretentious, just a bustling neighborhood spot serving up a quick, satisfying bite. Exactly the kind of place I love stumbling across. I'll definitely be back!

Really delicious food! Wish we would've visited sooner! The…read morehomemade bread is incredible. I'd say it's a cross between focaccia and English muffin bread with a nice buttery outside. We've only had lunch here but I hear the breakfast is just as good, especially the hash browns and tomato jam. We've had the Pool and Yacht, Raffi Luigi and the Gigi. Incredible! Their chicken salad is pulled chicken with white and dark meat, herbs and pepperoncini, etc. Really love it. The Giardinera is nice because it's almost blitzed in a food processor so it's smaller and doesn't fly out of the sandwich when you bite into it. They don't overdo the sauces either. Just enough on the sandwiches. The only downfall is that some things can be spicy, especially the potato salad. Like really spicy. So much so it's all you taste. That won't stop me from going back though. I crave a sandwich the minute I'm done. Oh and they also have a provisions case where you can buy packed items like pimento cheese, chicken salad, etc. Go there. You will love it! Open daily til 3pm. Closed Mondays. Breakfast has a cut-off time depending on the day, but lunch is served open til closed.

Egg and cheese + sausage 2. Egg and cheese + bacon and hashbrowns Imagine the fluffiest eggs, perfectly crispy bacon and potatoes, and the yummiest garlic aioli sauce, all on a warm focaccia slice. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. Skip the weekend rush in my opinion and check them out on a weekday--it made it incredibly easy to find seating and enjoy our food and the ambiance. Service was professional, fast, and friendly! Can't wait to try their lunch menu!

They are lightly breaded and tossed in the King sauce (i believe). It is a really unique flavor and has a slight kick at the end. Dunk it in the Queen sauce (green and my fav) and it cools it down. We also tried the dirty sodas that are limited time. I'm obsessed with the Baja cloud dirty soda. It also helped cool down the heat of the wings. Obsessed! Tables are small - really for two ppl and 3 max. But you can put some together if needed. Lots of to go orders on a Friday night. You order at the cashier, and they call your number when they take your order out. We got the King Rice Bowl, Chicken Shawarma, Gyro Cheese Fries and Gyro Plate. Portions are huge! The rice entrees are easily for 3 people. The wraps at least 2 hungry people. Orders take 15-20 minutes to prepare which they tell you up front. We got the Banana Pudding tres leches & Biscoff-Oreo tres leches to go. The base tres leches cake & cream frosting is really good. The banana pudding was ok but doesn't use real bananas. The strawberry one would probably be really good. We will be back!

Hands down, Kramarczuk's has the best food in Minneapolis! An old, Eastern European restaurant…read morewith a separate bakery attached to it. Has an iconic 50's vibe where wood paneling and booths are king. You order from the counter, pay at the cashier and find a table to consume delicacies made for kings. The Polish Pierogies are amazing a stuff full of meat and tender beyond belief. The Hungarian Goulash is amazing with tasty chunks of beef that is both tender and flavorful coupled with veggies that melt in your mouth. The Cabbage rolls are also very hefty and packed full of flavor. The only complaint (not really) is the huge amount of choices readily available for diners. Making decisions and controlling oneself will prove very difficult. The bakery is heavenly with fruit filled Danishes that caress the taste buds. The highlight is the Napoleanka Custard cake/pie which is one of the best tasting desserts known in history! The flaky crust coupled by the enormous amount of custard filling makes this an impossible item to resist. Kramarczuk's is a staple and cannot be missed!

Grab a tray and order whatever you want then pay at the end. You might want to save a table too before you lineup. It was everything we expected and more. 2 friends joined us and between the 4 of is we ordered most of the menu and enjoyed everything, no notes! Our favourites: cabbage roll, the grinder, beet salad, German potato salad and the Kramarczuk Torte. Will be back for sure!

I immediately started to worry. Unfortunately my worries have slowly " come true" ...and with an extremely upset heart, Crossroads has changed. Scott and Stu had dedication and sheer love of cooking and baking with the BEST of ingredients and exquisite rare perfect use of spices. Their flavors in everything they touched were some of the VERY BEST I have experienced nationally and in my home state of NY where my father taught Biochemistry in the Bronx at Einstein Med School (1955-1980) and where my intense passion for Delicatessen cuisine originated. Coming almost daily to Crossroads truly made my day! I adored EVERYTHING they created. Even shipped a large lemon coconut cake to mom's beloved 90 year old boss at Scarsdale Medical Center 8 years ago! Today: Their rye bread with caraway seeds was identical to Grossinger's. Now almost zero flavor. The broasted chicken if served hot fresh out of the cooker is still excellent. Some of the original spices gone. The lemon coconut cake has zero real lemon flavor just deep yellow coloring, Their pastrami and corned beef also lost 1/3 to 1/2 of their original flavor plus the size of the sandwiches 1/3-1/2 the original size. The new main dishes are almost tasteless. Their original recipes for matzo ball soup, etc are still good - - vary 8-10 rating. They no longer use as much/ perhaps any butter in their coffee cake " breads" which used to be a 10. Many cookies and tiny pastries in the same display case are still good. Compared to many other restaurants today they are now just " an ok". Gone are the days when Crossroads Deli was " TRULY SPECTACULAR "......

I love myself a cheesesteak and I wanted to see if this would be a new favorite I'd enjoy wearing out. They loaded this sandwich with onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. They added some of their pasta sauce on the bottom as well. The sandwich was good, but I thought it needed a bit more flavoring/spices. The bread was some of the softest I've experienced though and the cheese was a good amount. The combo was paired with a pickle spear and a bag of potato chips. This may sound strange, but can potato chips steal the show? Because they did. Super crunch and salty. Yum-O! I tried their coleslaw too and it seemed like to sat there awhile. It was tasteless and I ended up throwing the pint out. I will say the staff here are very friendly and helped me decide on some sandwiches and gave me an honest review of their favorites and least favorites. I appreciate that. I'm sure those chips will bring me back in the future and I'll be open to trying another sandwich.
