It's Jimmy John's. Freakishly fast and good! It really doesn't get much better. In my book, there are only two major sub chains that do it' more me. Let's just say, they both have a person's first name in the name of the business. Jimmy John's is my go-to for ham sandwiches. They're always fresh tasting and absolutely delicious. They now do "toasted subs" but, I'm not a "toasty" kind of guy, so I can't speak of it. A lot of people are. They also offer a Potato Salad and a cold Pesto Pasta Salad. Both are very tasty. I'm a fan of the Potato Salad for sure. Cookies, chips, drinks....all available as well. Would I go back? I think that Jimmy John's is one of the few chains that has yet to disappoint me. As I travel extensively, I know that any Jimmy John's that I've gone to in the US has always been consistent. Whether I'm on the East Coast, West Coast or somewhere in between, I know that ham sandwich is going to be fresh and tasty every single time. And, it's probably going to be ready to eat before I can get my fountain drink filled. read more

Came here at 6 pm on a Wednesday and they didn't have any tuna made. How do you not have tuna made it doesn't take long to mix tuna and mayo together. I woulda waited 10-15 minutes too if need be. Also ordered the Beach sandwich with no cucumbers. She gave me cucumbers. I get at Jimmy John's I'm not expecting 5 star quality service but jeez I've never seen 2 employees more unhappy at their jobs in my life. read more

Ordered a catering tray of 48 sandwiches. According to their recommendations, it should feed "up to 40 people". I was dealing with feeding 17 hungry guys so figured I was safe. I also purchased an assortment of 20 bags of chips, should have been more than enough food. Most of the sandwiches were of normal size (length), however some of them were obviously lacking in size and content of meat. This explains why some guys ate three sections and were looking for more. Attached is a picture of the last section left that no-one wanted to take. When I picked it up I noticed it had no weight to it. (See the attached pictures.) This is unacceptable. This box of sandwiches was not cheap, but the contents were! This is careless management which I will never attempt to feed my crew with again! Ordered delivery 11/28 and it took over an hour for the food to arrive. We called to inquire about fast delivery being their motto. The woman who answered the phone said, "that's Jimmy John's motto, not ours." Totally rude. read more

Stopped in to grab sammy's for the fam one evening. Was a little tired of the other usual fast food suspects - so we opted for a little different. I had my usual - the Big John. Which never disappoints. My 11 year old daughter even devoured her entire sandwich (unheard of for her) and my son immensely enjoyed his Vito (I think that was the name of the sub he ordered). Extremely rude maybe because I was not wearing a mask when entering from the first girl that seemed to be the MOD. The second girl was equally as rude not saying anything just slapping my sandwich in my hand. I watched a employe with a dirts pointed Dixie cup go twice to the pop machine. Then watched on of the rude ones partially remove her mask and play on here phone and another employee walk around with no cleaner wipe counters and other areas down that seems like if you were concerned about spreading corona you would constantly be spraying a disinfectant. The sad part I visit this location often and order for my office regularly for the last 10 years. I think I'll just look elsewhere. read more

i ordered a turkey tom slim and by the time i got home to eat it there was literally one slice of turkey on plain bread. no tomato, no lettuce, no mayo. just one slice of turkey. spent $8 for bread and a SLICE of deli meat. read more

I would honestly give zero stars if possible. I've been to this location a number of times and have always had an odd feeling. Today's visit will be my last - walked in at 6:20pm to a disgustingly dirty place - I decided to order despite my gut feeling - ordered #12 on wheat - was told they were out of wheat bread. I work at the hospital and will sometimes be able to order lunch to be delivered. I rarely have more than 15 mins to eat lunch. JJ dropped off my order at the entrance, BUT NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME IT WAS THERE. I waited almost 1 1/2hours for one sandwich. The manager had no explanation. I think next time I will go to a more "mom and pop" business and support them instead of a big corporate operation. I think we all should. read more

I used to work for JJs, so I know that they're not perfect. But after ordering from this location several times (as I work down the street), I must say I don't know that I will order from this location again. I have ordered numerous sandwiches and asked that they be cut in half, and not one was cut. Today, I ordered a #12 TBO and cut in half. Sure enough, was not cut. There were also onions on my sandwich. Beach clubs do not come with onion to begin with, and I didn't ask for onions. If this was an isolated incident, it wouldn't be an issue. But I've had enough. I get these are little details that are OK to miss once in a while, but this is every time. The upside, my order got here 10 minutes earlier that I expected. However, I would have rather they been 10 minutes late and given me what I ask for. read more

Felt the same as another reviewer, store states they close at 9 pm I walked in at 8:45 and they acted like I was a nuisance to them and they didn't want to serve me. The cashier was rude and they had already begun closing everything down (drink machine, floors soaking wet, etc.). I worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years and understand that you want to get ahead of closing but you still have to treat your customers that come in right before closing time with respect and give them the service they deserve. Glad we ordered our subs from this Jimmy Johns compared to other Jimmy John's. Bread was fresh, ingredients in sandwich were very tasty & abundant. Order was delivered in a very timely manner. read more

FYI: Watch out for this place. I'm a big JJ's fan, but, this one is by far one of the most inconsistent I've shopped. Bread almost never tastes fresh and the staff is lazy and unkept. read more

I work down the street and they have my sandwich to me within 10 min. Its really fresh and delicious, never have any problems and I'm a frequent happy customer. read more

Bushwood Dr. Elgin location is the worst JJ's, they are never freaky fast (45min +) and their bread is always stale. When you call because something was incorrect on your order they always make you feel like it is your fault. My car is in the shop today and I have no other choice, typically I avoid at all costs. Love Jimmy Johns but not this one. read more

Fast! My sandwich was done before I finished paying. Customer service was wonderful. My sandwich was exactly what I wanted, nothing special but still very good. The guy taking my order was outstanding, especially when considering this is fast food, hence the 5 stars. read more

Today May 2 the website said you had $1 sandwiches but when I went to the store it was closed for remodeling!! How in the world do you advertise that but have the store closed? I'm pretty sure you should have checked your own website and made sure to take down the advertisement if you knew you were going to be closed!! Food always delicious, sandwiches delivered super fast! Only thing I would suggest for improvement is to have a computer tracking system for previous customers because every time I order, I have to go through the whole thing of explaining where I'm located (address isn't enough - they seem to get confused about where my address is). But the food has always been great and they have always gotten the order correct. Even with the confusion on the phone, they always seem to get to my home in a hurry! read more

The Skokie Blvd store in Skokie ,Il. has the worst delivery srvice I've ever seen.Twice it has taken almost 1hr to get our food from the store that is 5 blocks away.The driver informed me that Jimmy Johns is working on Freaky slow delivery! Walked in on my lunch break and there were about 20 bags of chips strewn all over the floor in front of the counter and out into the dining area. For the whole twenty minutes I was there, the bags stayed on the floor despite multiple workers walking right by them and having no other customers to wait on. Before I left, I asked a crew member if they knew the chips were on the floor. She said yes. I said, "Well, they've been here the whole time I've been here" and she said she thought someone was "probably working on cleaning them up". She walked away. When I left, they were still there. If that's how much they care about how clean the dining area is, I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen. read more
