ows french fries in a paper container

Dirty dining room. My teens got obsessed with this place and we would order about every 2 weeks. The last time we ordered, our medium fries were barely filled, not even hitting the top of the container. I actually called to complain and a teenager had nothing to say. We thought we would try one more time today to order. See the picture of our sad medium sized fries. They look half eaten. No fries fell in the bag either. Rip off!

as you can see we have no food! - Two Chick-fil-A cups with straws are placed on a table in a fast-food restaurant, with a person sitting nearby and the counter visible in the background.

Chicken sandwich was semi frozen, expensive for fast food you would think they would cook it all the way .

Sure, they had some hiccups at the opening, but that is to be expected with any new restaurant.

I went back because I really wanted to try their Korean Fried chicken wings. If you've read my…read moreprevious review and then you know that I applaud Cloud Tea for providing different ethic cuisine (especially korean) here in the LITH, Algonquin, and CL area. I had no lunch plans and I knew exactly what I wanted for lunch. I arrive and the girl at the counter was having a bad day and I could tell. She avoided all any eye contact with me, she did not want to engage in any small talk and she was there to receive a pay check and that was that. Ok fine, I get it we all have bad days, just get me my food then. I ask her "how spicy is the spicy check wings?" So goes, "they are alright spicy." WTF, I'm giving a puzzling look and I'm not sure how to respond to that statement but whatever, I get it your cat died, your bf just broke up with you, your car insurance just went up 5%, sure I get it. I place an order for the spicy chicken wings and I wait. I take in the ambiance and it's a great place to chill and grab some bubble tea and lunch. I wait about ten mins and my wings are ready! When I walked up to get my wings I noticed there was some mochinut and I had to get some! I get three flavors, strawberry, taro, and green tea and then I head home to sample the food with my family. First up were the wings, they were scary looking but in a spicy kind of way. Was my stomach and whatever after comes after ready for these wings? I sure hope so! So I went in for my first bite and I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were super good! The flavoring and everything was fire, flame, hit the spot good. And the spice level was 'alright' (see what I did there?), it had a kick but nothing that my kids couldn't handle. My wife enjoyed the wings as well and she said they were good. I'm glad I stopped by and got the fried chicken wings to try because they were amazingly delicious and I'll be back for more. I finished off my lunch and tried some mochinut and they were good as well and you don't have any complaints from me on the food. The service on the other hand, get a new girl who wants to come to work and put on a smile. Like I said I understand we all have bad days but for me to write it in my review it must have been really bad. Great job on the food Cloud Tea. Happy to have you guys in the area and keep up the good food. You've earned your 4 start review.

I get the sense that I'll be a repeat customer after having just such an experience. Aside from the smile, I saw a restaurant that's clean and inviting. But that only covers me walking in the door. Let me just jump to the food. I got 20 wings, bone in, breaded. They were made fresh and handed over steaming hot in an aluminum tray (they were meaty and delicious). I also got a cheeseburger, which was just loaded with toppings in the best way; nothing fancy, just a burger that you can't put down, half because it's so good, half because it's best to keep it all contained in your hands. It's great to see this restaurant here and I look forward to stopping in again soon to try even more options.

A Disastrous Dining Experience…read more After months of anticipation, the grand opening finally arrived. Eager to experience the hype, my family and I placed an order, expecting a culinary adventure to rival the best Chicago has to offer. Unfortunately, our dining experience quickly turned into a nightmare. The first red flag was the missing items from our order. Despite being ordered directly from their website, these items weren't simply overlooked, they knew they didn't have any suggesting a lack of attention to detail and potentially poor organization within the restaurant. However, the most alarming issue was the under-cooked food. The bone-in chicken was served raw and bloody, posing a serious health risk. It was a shocking oversight that could have had dire consequences. Even the boneless wings, which should have been a safer option, contained bone fragments large enough to cause injury. The flavor profile of the dishes was equally disappointing. The mac and cheese, a comfort food staple, was bland and lacked any discernible seasoning. In fact, most of the food seemed under-seasoned, leaving a muted and unsatisfying taste. It's disheartening to witness a new restaurant with such potential fall short in such a fundamental way. While I understand the challenges of opening a new business, it's crucial to prioritize food safety and quality. Serving under-cooked food is not only unacceptable but also dangerous. I hope that this restaurant takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary changes to improve their food preparation and service. It's essential to invest in proper training for kitchen staff and establish rigorous quality control measures. As a customer, I expect to receive food that is not only safe but also delicious. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I urge others to exercise caution when considering dining here until they can consistently deliver a quality product.

Typical…read more This place has to be paying for reviews or getting reviewed by friends and family because the food here is awful. The chicken is dry and tasteless, the sauces are about as basic as you can get (tastes like somebody just googled recipes for each flavor and slapped it together) and the price is fairly expensive. It reminds me a lot of food you'd get at an event venue...just made to get out the door quick. I ate the boneless wings, the "sando" (god I'm sick of that word, it's not cool to anybody at this point), fries, corn and Mac and cheese. The fries were actually superb but I'm not convinced they aren't just standard fries from Sysco or something because I've had identical fries elsewhere. I'm not even particularly picky with my wings/chicken, but this place is a 2/5 at best. This town has Dave's, Canes, Wings etc and Byrd's...there's no reason to lower yourself to these standards
