Went for dinner with friends. I got the gyro. And it was delicious. The fries very tasty and fresh. The staff was very accommodating and kind. There was a lot of seating inside they also have plenty space outside. Soda was what you expect lol. They're have a room that I guess can be a party room. Prices are fair what i expected to pay. have been coming here for years.... lady at the front is a nightmare. I placed an order online and got charged an extra $2.50 for "cheese" after never being charged before. Went to Chubbys last week for the first time. The gyros were great. I had the dinner which comes with a Greek salad. Salad was fresh and the Greek dressing was spot on. I want to especially give a shout out to the counter staff. They were so friendly. Will definitely be back. read more

We ordered a rib eye steak sandwich.It was a skinny slice of muscle, sinew and fat. Absolutely unchewable, instantly went into the garbage . After calling the restaurant and complaining, we were told to take it back and order something else. Sure, dig it out of the garbage, and drive back to the restaurant. The manager was unavailable and did not respond. Nice!! Needless to say, they have lost our patronage forever! I have had gyros many times at various restaurants so I wanted to give this restaurant to try while in the area shopping. I heard good things about the gyros based on other yelp reviews. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. You can tell based on the patrons there they were regulars, which is great! I found the gyros to be decent but a bit on the greasier side than normal and the fries are a smaller portion size. If I'm back to the area, I will try something else. I have seen this place every time we drive by and we say that we need to eat here! Well today is that day! The restaurant is large and they have tall and short tables (no booths) the restaurant is clean and they have TV's and window shades too. We ordered and split the Chubby burger because it says it is the biggest burger you will ever eat. All I can say is wow! It was cooked to perfection and is one of those burgers that when you pick it up your not putting it down... cause it taste so good and is pretty messy to try to pickup again. The chili cheese fries were amazing! I wish the potion size was larger because they tasted so delicious! The portion size and price is perfect for one person to eat yummy I cannot wait to come back again and order something else! It's warm and squishy. Dill pickle spears should be crisp and cold. Hubby tried their Philly cheesesteak. It was not that great. Filled with lots of mushrooms and green peppers. I've only ordered via UberEats from this restaurant so I cannot comment on Ambiance. Food is always delivered hot and fresh. The gyros dinner is plenty for 2 people. The pizza puff reminds me of fond memories of the pizza puffs in high school lunches. The Italian beef with hot peppers reminds me of the old neighborhood double dipped beefs. We ordered to go tonight. I ordered the pork souvlaki. It came with tzatziki, a piece of pita, fries and a small Greek salad. The salad was very fresh, nicely chilled. The fries were the fat ones slightly undercooked. The pita was delicious. My big disappointment was the pork. I've always had pork tenderloin, cubed. And the pork tenderloin will mostly stay tender. Today, I had such a craving for BBQ chicken and I knee they had it here, and I like their BBQ sauce, so I decided this would be the place to go. I ordered $50 worth of food and got home and the chicken was so dry, even with the extra side of sauce I ordered to dip my chicken in, it didn't help it. I was so disappointed. The gyros my parents got was good and had a good amount of meat on it. The other items were sides, they were fine, the garlic bread was kind of burnt, but edible. I won't order the BBQ chicken again, which is such a let down because you really can't get a decent half chicken too many places. The drive-thru speaker is a disaster. They take too long to wait on you and then they serve you overpriced food. The hot dog meal is ok tasting but wow, the price is definitely enough to take me to a competitor. The chicken gyro was probably the grossest thing I have tasted in a while. I don't know what took so long for us to try this place. I guess we don't often drive this way so we don't think to stop by. We came to the drive-thru on a Tuesday night and we were surprised by the line and the wait. I had a Maxwell St. Polish and loved it. It was cooked crispy and had the right amount of grilled onions. My wife had the Ruben and it stole the show. The corned beef was piled high and the bread was toasty and perfectly crisp. We both loved the fries and would argue that they are the best in the area (above McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A)! We will definitely be back here again because even though it's junk food, it tasted clean and fresh. We definitely want to try the gyros, as I saw that they had 3 (or 4) skewers rotating. The only complaint is that there was a long wait. After we pulled up to the window and paid, it was almost 10 minutes before we got our food. Good things come to those who wait. I say that to prepare you; though this IS fast food (housed in the shell of a former Arby's), your order may take a little longer than other places with drive-thrus. But compared to places where the clientele typically dines in or carries out (like most independent hot dog/burger joints), Chubby's falls right in line with what you'd expect. This menu throws a lot at you, and some of the items may make you suspicious. Obviously the gyros, chicken or otherwise, are great. But tacos at a gyro place? They're worth it, if you're in the mood, though a little greasy. My dark horse is the pepper and egg sandwich - still hot and indulgent, but it leaves you feeling like you actually ate something kind of healthy. The Maxwell polish is artful and receives the respect it deserves. Now I have no beef with Arbys, but when I look at the building (and at the menu) and imagine what it could be... I'm glad Chubby's is here instead. read more

ordered today around noon, through the drive through. ordered a gyro, plain, sauce on the side, tuna melt on a pita and one fry, one cheese fry. the gyro was okay but they gave sour cream not tzikzi sauce. the tuna melt was inedible. the tuna was so fishy it tasted like it had been sitting out all day and I could mistake it for cat food. one bite, spit it out and that was it. the cheese sauce for the fries was more like pudding than cheese. we've been eating here for ever, last time they forgot our fries, this time it was inedible. on the list of never again. read more
