The "Fix Mix" burger is genuinely the best burger in the greater northwest suburbs of Chicago! I've eaten a LOT of burgers, it's a bad habit. But Fill N' Fly is by far my WORST habit in McHenry County. I have been meaning to write this review for a long time but I can never get a photo of the burger before I absolutely demolish my meal xD I cannot recommend the Fix Mix enough with fries and some boba tea. The price for the food quality is very reasonable! $20 for the best burger around, crispy and well seasoned fries, and a killer boba tea. I could go a block down to McDonald's and get half the quality for a higher price. This restaurant is small, I wouldn't recommend it to a group larger than three adults or maybe some parents with a couple of kids for dining in but that's okay :) This is more of a take-out restaurant anyhow, just like the rest of the establishments in the strip mall. There's usually only one, maybe two (TOPS), people working the grill and register so it's not super speedy but the food takes a reasonable amount of time, ESPECIALLY with the quality you're getting. If you can avoid the nighttime rush (say maybe 5-6pm) it's usually not too busy. This restaurant is family owned and operated, everyone is extremely friendly and grateful for their customers. For a soft-opening currently, there's a lot to like about what the guys at Fatty Patty food truck up in Milwaukee have brought down to us here in Cary... and don't worry, they kept the Boba tea! I had the "Fill n fly burger" which was a great tasting, large, and unique burger for the area. The fill n fly sauce is really really good, and the turkey bacon is crisp and actually a welcome addition when "standard" bacon is ubiquitous. The patty was a little overcooked for my tastes but I didn't specify how to cook it so no complaints there. I'm excited to come back and try the rest of the burgers on the menu. These guys worked up in Wisconsin so it's obvious that the cheese curds were good. Seasoned fries were fresh and crisp with a good amount of seasoned salt. I'm definitely going to try the loaded fries later cause I know that's going to be good. All in all, I'm impressed with what they did with the previous Teame Boba place and it was smart to keep the boba but add a unique and tasty selection of food for the area. If you're in the area, I would definitely say it's worth the stop for a quick bite. Best of luck to these guys, I have a feeling they'll do good here! read more

Simply put, this is a really great burger spot. For one, it's much more cost effective than other burger joints in the Chicagoland area. You get what you pay for, and you get quality food. The service is consistent, fast, and helpful. I find the ambiance to be unique. The TV displays a loop of Need For Speed clips with EDM music in the background. My only recommendation for this restaurant is to display something like sports and play music that's more mellow and chill. This might improve the vibe of the restaurant. read more

My first ever time being here I buy a $11 burger and hand the lady at the counter a $20 and she gives me $3 and some change and I tell her I gave her a $20, she instantly gets an attitude and gets all mad at me and says no I didn't, the the second I say check the cameras she instantly switches up and give me my correct change... manager personally apologized like any good buisness should, customer was only in training even though that doesn't excuse the attitude I believe they mean well read more

We ordered two carryout burgers with fries and soda. Great flavor and portions. They gave us two patties per sandwich. One cut in half would have been plenty. But I plowed through as the flavors were so wonderful. I will be ordering again soon. read more

Decided to try this place out after hearing some good things. Pretty cool little place with burgers and boba tea. My son loves both so what a perfect combination. The burgers were reasonably priced for a 1/2 pound burger. About $9.99 and another 3.99 for fries and a drink. I got the fire ring burger and it didn't disappoint. The burger was a good size and had great flavor. The only downfall was that the fries were cold so that knocked the score down because of attention to detail. My son and wife both really liked their burgers. We will come back to this place as our other children would like this place. read more

The food is great! My daughter went in to get lunch and said the place was super clean and the guys greeted her immediately thanking her for coming in. I had the chicken sandwich and it was perfect. Juicy and the bun was great and two chicken breasts were on it! Great price. The other sandwich we had was the regular burger with the bacon. It was huge!! Delicious as well. Love this place! Food is definitely made fresh, flavors are on point, staff super friendly every time we've visited. I live in Schaumburg but come to Cary to visit family. Always make a stop here. The tenders are so good. 1000000x better than chick fil a , canes, etc. it's mostly meat rather than breading, they're nice big pieces of meat, and it's soooo juicy every time. It doesn't rely on sauce to be delicious. If you do get a sauce the spicy fill n fly sauce is Pricing is great. My husband always gets the double fill n fly burger and he loves it. It's pretty massive (to me) and that's the only thing he gets lol he said he doesn't know how they could even possibly enhance it. the Mac and cheese here really surprised me. Very delicious. The fries are seasoned so well and crispy on the outside and soft and steamy on the inside. Mozzarella sticks are sooooo good. Cheese pulls are 10/10. My brother got the bean burger. He says 10/10. The burger meat was rancid, it was tough as well. I thought it may have been something else but after a nother bite I could not keep going. It was very unpleasant. The turkey bacon was okay. The seasoned fries weren't bad, they had a seasoning like Texas Roadhouse's steal fries but way lighter amount. The brioche buns were so fresh and soft. Everyone loved it, and my black bean burger was probably the best one I've ever had. We will definitely go back once they are officially open. But the people are very unprofessional I tried to apply for a job there and they asked me to work for 2 hours for free as an interview, I did then and then they never reached out to me to even say they weren't going to hire me.
