I ordered a southwest chicken sandwich that was on the spicier side but the chicken wasn't exactly the best quality, it was chewy, had a lot of rubbery pieces. Their apple cookie was absolutely delicious as a sweet treat. I liked the choices and the portions but my one complaint is the very thick sub roll. There is certainly way more bread than needed as it took over the flavor of the wonderful meats, cheeses and toppings. I ended up taking the top half of bread off and ate the rest. I have lived in the area for 7 years and have only been here twice. Stopped in today and got a deep dish grinder, which was super delicious and not messy to eat whatsoever (between the pizza sauce and oil and vinegar, I was expecting a soggy mess). The girl at the counter was very friendly and smiley despite being busy with people at the counter and receiving online orders. Outstanding Sub Shop!! I'm from Florida originally and miss having Publix subs... until I discovered this gem!! Fresh crusty bread... real meats... perfectly toasted... topped with fresh veggies... This is a really great Sub place. The staff is really nice. It has a few tables inside to eat at. We have ordered Deep Dish Sub, a Chicken Sub (I forget which), & a Turkey Sub. I would come back I had to add to my review along with adding he 5th Star. The samwich was the best I've had of an Italian. The meats were a great combination but the ingredients were exceptionally fresh. The tomato which is always subpar on sub sandwiches was fresh and juicy. The bread had a perfect blend of softness but didn't fall apart from the juices inside of the tomato, garidinera, and vinegar and oil mixture. In fact my bag of chips were hardly touched! I went there previously 2 or 3 times, and was impressed with the taste and quality of the subs and quantity of meat. so this eve I made sure to route myself to stop at Bud's on my shopping journey. Arrived , parked, and was at the door promptly at 550 pm. The sign clearly said closes at 6 pm on Sunday, and this was a paper sign with current hours. However open neon sign was off, store lights were off, but I could still see that at least 1 employee was in there. Door was locked. So disappointed. Closing at 6 should mean a client can walk in at 558 and get a sandwich to go, it does mean the last employee sneaks out the back door at 6pm and locks the door at 545 or whenever read more

Honestly, some of the best subs I've EVER had. The garlic aioli was a MUST order condiment on your sub. We've had a number of them from there - the pizza style one was just "ok" but even then, it was good. I will say, the subs are EXPENSIVE - that said, they are MASSIVE.
