I love this Domino's as far as pizza goes. We've only gotten one bad one here several years ago and we called and they replaced it no questions asked. It just tasted off for some reason. Otherwise, everything we have gotten here has been delicious, fresh, and hot. My biggest issue is probably more related to the online tracking system. If I do a pickup inside, it will say my pizza is ready and it NEVER has been ready. It's always still in the oven and I need to sit and wait. I don't mind waiting, I would just rather be doing it in my car so I wish it was accurate so I didn't come in for no reason. Suspiciously along the same lines, if I do a curbside pickup, when you tap "I'm here," the app will say that "the countdown will begin when your order is ready" but my order is clearly ready as I got a notification saying so. So I'm wondering if it really isn't ready and it puts this fake buffer in to not start the count down to free pizza. It's just weird. read more

The absolute worst dominos in all of Illinois. They're giving dominos a bad name. I just moved locally and my dominos delivery changed to this store and I miss my old dominos location. This location skimps on toppings, no matter how you order it, no matter how many extra and double toppings you pay extra for, your pizza comes the same way- pitiful every time. They need to change their name because it's not representative of how good dominos can be. This location sucks. I gave them two chances and from now, I'll definitely just have to pick up from the other location- that's how bad this one us Update- still no This is the third time the order is not followed. Last time I got cheesy bread with bacon that I did not want and removed in the order. This time, same as last time, pizza made without ingredients as specified. I ordered extra cheese AND double cheddar and there's barely any cheese at all. I ordered double spinach and there's a scant amount of that. Same as last time. I moved this year but used to order from the location in Algonquin at least once a week -they ALWAYS got the toppings loaded on and correct as ordered. I'd rather not have to drive way over there and pick it up from them, but this location needs much improvement. Three strikes with this location.Disappointed once again. Please do something about consistency across locations- there should be measurements to Toppings if we're paying extra for them. I am amazed by the service here. Forget all the previous reviews from others that were bad on here, 1 because they are old and 2 the other ones were just hating. Customer service here was great, very friendly and informative when I had to call with a question for my online order. As far as the delivery it literally was in my hand in under 15 mins this blew me away. Now for the food quality.... is this where I say bad things........ nope it was excellent order was correct food was hot and best Parmesan bites I have had to date. Great job store!! read more

Ordered for delivery, driver was great - food not so much. 2 salads, one was rotten - I'll post the picture of the lovely salad! The pan pizza was pretty good, hand tossed was pretty horrible. Called about quality - on hold and spoke to 3 people before I got to Diana who said she was the manager. I've worked in this business plenty and one thing that lacks anymore is service - this is no exception! When someone had food delivered that is expired and rotten - more should be done than "we'll make sure to replace it the next time you order". This place isn't as bad as people think! Whenever we have pizza discussions at work(we have them a lot), people always put down Domino's. But we like Domino's! The thin crust is pretty good, and the best thing about Domino's is the 2 medium 2 topping pizzas for $5.99 each deal. That's everyday, and thats without a coupon. Also, they're open kind of late for the 'burbs. After 10pm, you're stuck with McD's, White Castle, BK, and Wendy's. It could be better, but it does the trick when we don't feel like making dinner and don't feel like going out to eat. Be warned! This Domino's location closes at 10pm for carryout! Alright so it was Saturday night and my buddies and I are craving pizza. So we thought we can drive out to the local Domino's (which is 5 mins away), get a quick pick-up and eat it at home. But as we came up to the door, they were closed. I looked inside and there were people working. One guy came to the door to tell us that they are closed for carry out but we can order for delivery. I looked at my watch and it was only 10:10pm. It turns out they closes at 10pm for carryout but you can order for delivery until 1am?! Say what? This is unheard for me. I understand if you're a restaurant that needs to close and clean up the dining room but the kitchen can still stay open for deliveries, right? But dude Domino's, you're a stand alone carry-out and delivery joint! So why are you closing carry-outs at 10pm on a Saturday night and effectively losing half your business!? Is it really that hard to keep your doors open for walk-ins? I just don't understand this kind of management or lack there of. I'm looking at their website for other Domino's around my area and none of them closes their carry-out business early like this location. All of them have the same closing hours for carry-out and delivery. So its just the East Dundee location that have the weird hours. It's just extremely inconvenient when their hours differs from all the other locations. So I think its safe to say that I won't be going back to this location for a late night snack. read more

Is it possible to leave a negative review? I don't think I've ever left a review before, but felt compelled to do so after the treatment I received from the staff last night. It still haunts me. When I mistakenly thought the pick up area was the rack to the left of the counter, the entire staff of men SCREAMED, not shouted, SCREAMED at me, a 54 year old woman. You'd swear I walked in with a bomb strapped to me! When I tried to explain my confusion that I thought that was the pickup area, one of the men snottily yelled at me that that was only for online orders! Mine was an online order. It states to skip the line at the counter and grab your food so I thought it was like Jersey Mikes, Panera, Chipotle and many other places that have a shelving system where you just look for your order, grab it and go. Then the man who seemed like the manager, started slamming his hand down in the counter yelling at me as he pointed to the little placard that said that was where to pick up the food. OK, Karl (is the male form of Karen?) but then WHY ISN'T my order that your app told me to come get and to send a message I was there NOT THERE?!? (It was literally an empty counter.) he then went to the rack and put my order together and handed it me. I was in disbelief as the entire crew sneered at me as if I was some kind of derelict who just wandered off the street and not the person who just spent $40 in their business! So disgusted I looked back and said "don't effing yell at people! It's not nice. Do better!" They all laughed at me and snidely yelled "have a good night" at me like I was the problem. I order today a simple medium cheese and sausage pizza with cinnamon sticks , and it took awhile to get here i thought it was just because they might be busy so the nice delivery guy who i didn't get his name showed up with my pizza and it was hot so didn't care how long it took to get here . I have ordered from here for several months, however lately service is seriously lacking. Last month I placed an order and was told 30 minutes for delivery, it took over an hour. The food was cold, inedible, and an item was missing. "Manager" would do nothing but credit me a pizza, however that was not the missing item, she hung up on me. It wasn't until after I filed a charge dispute on my credit card and contacted corporate that I was offered a comped meal. Even the comped meal was dissatisfactory but it was free so I didn't complain. Tonight I placed my order, again an hour for delivery, received a burnt pizza with no cheese and again a missing item. 30 minutes later, the delivery guy was back with the missing item which was not remade, received a cold and inedible item. So today I decided to order from Dominos which I have not done in 2 years due to poor customer service, yet I regret doing so AGAIN. The East Dundee, IL store #2962 was so unprofessional and delivered poorest of poor customer service, not even human courtesy! I ordered online at 7:42pm and at around 8:30pm I tracked my order and it said it was on its way, great! So i thought! After waiting an hour and seeing 5 delivery cars come down my street I finally decide to call to check, 1. My address doesn't bring u to my house on GPS, 2. I ordered online glitches happen, 3. It was out for delivery an hour ago and I live 8 mins away. The CSR that answers her name was unknown at this moment I start to tell her I haven't recieved my pizza and seen deliveries come and its been 2 hours-I get interrupted and she says its been on its way for 1 hour, and those delivery cars didn't have your pizza I don't even know who took your pizza. But its out there. I finished my sentence stating I ordered 2 hours ago not that it was out two hours, i told her I just want to know when it will get here. She said she didn't know that it was busy, I said well I don't want a cold pizza and she replied if it gets there and its cold send it back and wait 2 hours for a new one. I said why would I pay for a cold pizza? She answered well your not gonna get anything for free and I started to explain I didn't want anything for free I wanted my pizza and pay for my hot food! She hung up on me while I was talking, I called back 3 times and got answers and hung up twice. The 3rd time a male answer "Hello Dominos" I ask for the manager he said it was him I asked for his name he said Alex. So I asked for the girls name answering phone he said I just got out the bathroom, I'm not sure who it was I have 3. So I explain to him the situation on how I was treated and how I did not want anything for free, that I just wanted to check the status and Uniques attitude and behavior was uncalled for and offensive, I'd even say insulting. So he was like if it gets there cold just don't pay for it and keep it and I told him I just want to know if it will be here. I understand he tried provide resolution for the situation to get it over with because it was super busy so instead of paying 30bucks in pizza I gave the money to driver, reheated the pizza and wrote this review. I'm passionate about customer service and I don't care if you are making pizzas or dealing with multi million dollar clients, a customer is a customer and you need customers to support your business for it to grow. So yes I'm 1 nobody to Dominos, but I will never order again. Unique doesn't deserve to work there if she doesn't care about the business, Alex needs to pull his grown pants on and run a tighter shift there, if its busy and the team is crabby and frustrated they need to take 5 and refocus. The new chicken specialties have become a favorite for my husband. I am still a pizza fan and those chocolate lava cakes are really delicious. We order from this Domino's location quite a lot and in the 15+ years there has only been one time when the order was mixed up, but that was not the fault of the restaurant, it was the fault of my nephew who had himself as well as them confused. :) I know there are some poor reviews and I really don't know what happened with those people. As for the one who said their pizza is ALWAYS undercooked, I have never had that problem... but you can request that they cook it a little longer than normal and they will do it. If you have an issue repeatedly why wouldn't you mention it to them? How can they fix a problem if you don't let them know there's a problem for you? We've never gotten sick from the food we order. I've never had a rude delivery driver and I have to admit, I have been lazy and not shoveled and they've slogged thru snow to deliver to me.... though strictly saying they shouldn't have to. I was a food delivery driver back in the day and the policy of the restaurant I worked for was NOT to slog thru snow. The policy was that unless there was a safe, lighted path to the door we were not required to deliver. That is actually the policy of quite a few places. They certainly don't want to put their drivers into unsafe situations such as snow packed, icy or dark paths. Anyway, I do not have any stake in Domino's, I am not a shareholder, owner, franchisee, nor do I have any relatives working for them. I'm just a frequent customer and I've always been happy with the drivers, the timeliness and the food. :) read more
