Fatsoz is one of those rare places that truly has something for everyone. Yes, it's a bar, but the food is so much more than typical "bar food." Everything I've had has been fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. Their Friday night fish fry is easily some of the best around and is something I look forward to whenever I can make it in. What really sets Fatsoz apart for me, though, is the atmosphere. As a women, I feel completely comfortable and safe stopping in by myself. the staff is welcoming, the regulars are so friendly, and there's never that uncomfortable feeling you can sometimes get waling into a bar alone. It's a place where you can enjoy a great meal, relax, and feel at ease whether you're with friends or on your own. Sitting at the bar on a busy Friday night, the experience here was perfect. It's not a big place, maybe twenty spots at the bar and a smattering of tables. The bartender, Hailey(?), worked the entire place flawlessly. Between five of us we had the fish fry, a couple sandwiches and some appetizers. All cooked perfectly and delivered fairly fast. There is a full bar but it's nothing fancy. No top shelf bourbons visible from my seat. We drank beer on tap. With the good food, the fantastic service and tge dive bar atmosphere I can say with certainty that we'll be back. Five stars. read more

I have been going to Fatsoz for over 10 years. I have never once had a bad experience. Food and drinks are always good and the service is impeccable. This is actually the only bar I will go out to simply because I feel the safest. Usually full of regulars, who welcomed me in from day one and made me feel comfortable. There are so many good things to say about this bar and grill. When you pull in the parking lot is small but there are a lot of options around so don't let that deter you from stopping in and having a drink, grabbing a bite or watching the game. The bar has multiple large screen televisions and pride themselves on game day activities with an excellent food spread and raffle tickets for those who are staying the duration. There are multiple slot machines to keep you entertained as well. I really enjoy the fact they have a touch tunes machine to rock the music of your liking. The food is delicious, the service fast and friendly! Biscuits and gravy, egg sandwiches, BLT's steak and eggs, bloody Mary, Long island ice tea, and a wide beer selections. They have everything you expect a local bar to have. The atmosphere is welcoming, the restrooms are clean and they even have outdoor seating. Highly recommend. read more

I was very skeptical about coming here BUT they have cat fish on Friday's and I have been looking all over for some. Everyone else is doing Haddock, meh! Anyways, I was very surprised about how nice and welcoming everyone was. Cory is amazing, great bartender and super sweet. The catfish was delicious and the tater tots too. They use clean new oil, unlike other places where you can tell the oil is not fresh. Can't wait to come back. Loved everything about this place. read more

Discovered this joint while in town for a funeral, driving around looking for a place to eat and have a couple beers. Happy to find it.
