I usually get the Country Club sandwich the turkey and ham is alway fresh, and the combination works well without one overpowering the other, while the lettuce and tomato give it a nice, crisp bite. Last night after our workout I was really feeling Jimmy Johns, so we decided on coming to this location that located on fry street because it stays open late. Thankfully it wasn't the weekend because even then the parking was sparse. We walked in and nobody was inside, it was about 1030 at night, so to be expected. The smell was glorious and the decor was typical of any Jimmy Johns, place was clean and the staff were making what I assumed are mobile orders. We were greeted and we both ordered the #7 with chips and we went with the giant sandwich cause I knew I was gonna wanna save it for a second maybe third meal. We took a seat while we waited and within about 10 min we were heading out to go home and eat. Goodness the #7 was sooo good and packed full of meat and great flavor! I usually go for the beach club but this was a nice change, I will be back soon. read more

This place has been one of my biggest go-tos while i'm on campus. The sandwiches are really good, I think I've gotten the #7 combo more times than I should admit. A tad expensive but worth it for sure! Great kettle chips, great sandwiches, and a nice place overall. Staff is usually pleasant and nice. They also run great deals on the app sometimes, like you can get a combo after 2pm for the price of the sandwich itself (so drink and chips are free)! read more

This is the worst jimmy johns in dfw it has worst bread over any of the other locations is always somehow more dry and less soft than other stores. This store constantly has inaccurate proportions, no matter what amount of stuff you order seems like they're just guessing which in turn makes a sloppy nonuniform less appealing sandwich with ingredients spilling out of the side. Most of the employees are lackadaisical, rude, and forgetful. The store on loop 288 has non of these issues and their bread is great if your in denton its a way better stop although it closes sooner. I am convinced the only reason this location gets business is because of it's on "fry". read more

Cold sandwiches that are good at anytime. Open till 3 am they are great to pick up or have delivered to your house after the bar or when after midnight cravings hit. Good selection of cold cuts and the simple yet very delicious mayo, lettuce, and tomato on fresh baked french bread really make you want to come back for more. AHH I love Jimmy John's. At first I tried a couple of sandwiches and totally didn't get what the whole craze was about, but then it hit me. The Jimmy John's BLT.. Ahh I love it. Just the right amount of bacon, lettuce, tomato! The French bread is freshly basked and combine it with the Hellman's mayonnaise and voila! Pure goodness.. haha. Their UnWich is pretty neat too, everything that a regular sandwich has, except that it's wrapped in an iceberg lettuce and has less carbs. And OMG they are super fast. Jimmy John's is the best sandwich shop I've been to thus far. It beats Subway by a mile. The employees are usually really friendly and the service is super duper fast. By the time you finish ordering your sandwich is ready! They LOAD your sandwich up to ensure you are stuffed. You get your moneys worth for sure. I normally get the Country Club (turkey, smoked ham, provolone, lettuce, mayo). It's considered a "giant sub" which it is -- basically, it's double the meat and cheese. They also have plain slims, 8" subs, and a low carb lettuce wrap. This is about there new store on loop 288 8n denton,tx,they just opened but they don't have delivery to my house.I live in a mobil home park where there is a lot of people who eat,including me,and I'm very angry about this because the corporate office didn't even consider where I lived.there are a lot of subs shops in denton that are a lot better than Jimmy johns but the reason I was so happy that you were on 288 was because you were so close to my house and do when I became hungry I would come there, but believe me they are not the best. When we got out order it was a regular size so we took it back to get the giant size, mentioning again the extra meat and cheese. The past few times I've ordered delivery here it's taken 2.5-3 hours to arrive. This time it didn't arrive at all. I called them at the two hour mark and they told me that my order had been delivered an hour prior. It hadn't been, so I asked them if there was anything that could be done about it. Jimmy John's is hands down my favorite sub place! My mouth will occasionally salivate for their "Totally Tuna" and I just don't know why! Wait.. yes I do, because they introduced me to alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and tuna blend that satisfies my tastes buds to a TEE. I only picked the Denton location to review because I have so many great memories of college here but ALL Jimmy John's are very consistent and that's what I love about it. We've catered with them before for our conference of 250+ attendees and they were awesome to work with. I would recommend all organizations on campus to cater from them. They're not kidding when they say they're fast. I haven't even finished paying yet and my sammie is waiting for me at the end of the counter. Oh, and don't forget their decor. I normally don't review fast food (and damn is JJ's fast) but this place is an exception. The bread is so delicious and fresh and the meat is so flavorful (unlike subway down the street). All of the deli meats taste like the meat they're supposed to, and the bacon is a great texture. The cheese is also good (provolone I think?). I eat here several times per week these days, since it's quick, not too pricey, and tasty. Also, the music ROCKS. I swear they let me pick out the music. I don't know if it's like a JJ's satellite radio station or if the staff picks the music and it's that awesome, but it is. All of the cheesy 70s-80s greats. ELO, Journey, Foreigner, Queen, Zep, Kansas, etc. Nothing like good food and Carry on Wayward Son to set your day in order. They also offer an unwich, a sandwich with lettuce instead of bread, in case you are an enemy of flavor and don't like amazing bread. Main downside is the lack of variety in veggies and the fact that it's iceberg lettuce. Of course it wouldn't be so fast without the limited menu. They're so fast that as soon as I've picked up my chips from the rack my sandwich is done. read more

While I can't comment about their food, you should avoid an incident with a delivery driver at all costs. Over THREE MONTHS AGO on Sept 10th, one of their driver's car toppers flew off on the road and caused damage to my very new vehicle. The store manager apologized and was very sweet and promised they would take care of it but she wasn't sure of the correct process so she would have the owner contact me. After continuing to check in, I finally got in touch with the owner, Mike. Once he knew the damage was a little over $2000 he said he had to consult with his attorney. Eventually (around a month) after repeated calls back to the owner and store manager, I was told I would have to work with the driver directly and his personal insurance. They wouldn't provide any contact information but said they would have him call me. After another few weeks, we finally filed a claim on the driver's insurance which they promptly denied since he was working at the time of the incident. Back to calling, texting and emailing Jimmy Johns owner with no return responses. On Nov 14th, I received a call from his attorney asking if I would accept a check for the amount of the estimate and sign a release from further liability. At this point, I was happy with that resolution, taking a chance that there could be unknown damage when I took my car in to get repairs completed. The attorney said I would hear from the owner within a day or two to schedule a time to meet him to pick up the check and sign the paperwork. For over a month I did not hear from any Jimmy Johns representatives even though I made continuous calls, texts and left voicemails for the owner Mike, store manager and attorney. I finally called the store and happened to catch the store manager who told me she was taken out of the loop on the situation and had no answers for me. All I want is for my new vehicle to be repaired to its original state due to the damage caused by Jimmy Johns. Throughout this entire process, I have been very patient, polite and understanding however I believe Mike is hoping I will just go away. He has continued to ignore all communication from me, not returning any calls, etc. It's very disappointing to have a franchise owner in our community that lacks concern and does not take responsibility for his business. Judging from my limited interaction with Mike, please be wary of any business interactions you may have with him. As a franchise owner of multiple Jimmy Johns locations, surely this is not the first delivery driver incident he's encountered. What if this had been a more serious accident and someone was injured, would he still disregard the damages done as he has in my situation?? read more
