This Jimmy John's is located in the Town Center strip mall. The sandwiches here are always good, ingredients are fresh, and I like that they give little packets of Hellman's mayo (my favorite). The staff inside the store are always courteous and friendly. When you order for pick up, they really are freaky fast. This location sometimes isn't the fastest with delivery in the evenings, so I usually end up just going inside to order and pick up. Their day old bread is always a bargain too. We've ordered from here a couple times, and we've also stopped in once or twice. They ARE freaky-fast! In addition, I LOVE the bread here. The sandwiches are great! They are a smidge overpriced. I have eaten here several times and always get the same thing. Today I had horrible customer service. I was greeted with a less then happy employee who seemed annoyed she had to work (i was the only customer in the place). Then I get home and see my turkey had gross brown spots on it (see picture) I know she saw this when she made the sandwich. She made a conscious decision to put that meat on my sandwich. Jimmy John's is really great! The service here is really fast and quick. All of the staff here is working really fast. They are also nice, friendly, and accommodating. They will greet you and show a big smile once you enter the place. Also guide you inside to find a vacant spot and also they will get your order right away. You can get your orders served just by waiting for a few minutes. They serve the orders on time. You can really tell that their food is fresh and made to order because they will serve the food to you while it is hot and perfectly prepared. Service is really nice and good. This place is one of the most efficient food store around this area of Buffalo Grove. They always get the orders right. They also offer deliveries as well. Jimmy John's is exceptional! Okay so I very rarely eat jimmy johns but I remember getting it a few times at my old job in highland park so one day I went for a walk in my BG neighborhood and decided to venture in for a sub. I have to say my forever love has always been pot Bellys but for some reason I was craving a cold sub and figured since I'm not a fan of subway this was kind of my only choice. The girl who took my order was nice and I ordered the classic turkey tom with a bag of bbq chips! What I had really wanted was those sprouts that I used to always get in the highland park location and the girl told me its up to the owner of the location to decide if they want to have them and apparently this location does not. I have to say that totally ruined my sandwich as it did not have the crunch factor. I really don't think I'll be returning because those sprouts totally make the sandwiches here in my opinion. They get a star for being nice and polite and another star for a pretty big sub so you get your money's worth but let's be honest I didn't love it as much as I wish I had. Sorry, but I'm not sorry. Love the Jimmy! One the nicest things about JJ's is that they are consistent. You can get a sandwich in Missouri or Illinois and it's the same old good sub!. I wish there was one closer to the office but it's worth the drive. read more

Hells yes, this place has great samwiches (thanks to my very nice co-worker who didn't want me to starve through lunch and brought me a sandwich and chips from Jimmy John's). The turkey sandwich was HUGE -- and the their own brand of chips are great -- in fact, I think I'll stop by just to pick up a couple bags of chips. We use Jimmy John's to cater meals at the office, so they have a good reputation. Based on what I ate, it is deserved. read more

I would've given this store a 5-star rating since I've had no complaints about Jimmy John's until today. I'm new to the area and was glad to discover this location so close to my new home. I have 4 children so I love the super fast service and their sandwiches. I even downloaded the phone app so I can order ahead. Somebody told me about this $1 customer appreciation day so I decided to check it out without knowing the limits. I figure I can grab food for my kids for after-school meal. I figure there's a limit of how many you can order but I did not know that until I got in line. I didn't care since I'm already in line so I might as well buy for the entire family. I did call ahead to make sure they are participating and the lady I spoke to was very pleasant and friendly. I really don't like waiting in line but she was so nice, she convinced me that they make their sandwiches so fast (within 40 seconds she says), so the line moves quickly. Ok. I get there, told them I want my one $1 sandwich and I'll pay full price for the rest. I ordered a total of 6. I was happy until they finished all my sandwiches. The guy preparing my sandwich did not look happy at all (he looked very stressed out - I can understand that). However, he went and just picked up all 6 sandwiches and placed them all on the counter. I'm like, are you gonna bag them? I can't possibly carry them like this. He answers, the bags are right there, you can bag them yourself. Umm, ok. Then he proceeds to give me my receipt and literally threw it at me. I couldn't catch it because I was still bagging my 6 sandwiches - it fell on the floor and thank God for another customer who picked it up and handed it to me. She witnessed the whole incident. I understand you're in a hurry but this is no way to treat a loyal customer who just paid full price for her sandwiches!
