It is a traditional Nebraska steak house with a lot of options. I had a ribeye steak and baked potato which tasted amazing. My wife had eggplant Parmesan. Among the rest of the family, we had chicken strips, a country fried steak, a BLT, a catfish dinner and corn dogs and fries for my granddaughter's dinner. We ordered onion rings and fried cauliflower for the table. Everything was delicious and served in a timely manner by a friendly and thoughtful server. Several people ordered the same beverage and he brought a couple of pitchers to make refills easy. He took our group photo of our terrific dinner. I recommend, if you want a drive in the country north of Omaha, you want to stop by and get some great sandwiches, salad and steak that represents the best of Nebraska beef.

I boated there over Memorial Day weekend, and while they did have bands it was nice that there was no cover. Who does that?!? Just another refreshing part of this newer establishment. They did add gas on their docks for boats which they didn't have last year. Fantastic except on this particular day anyway they did not have dedicated docks for boats that needed gas, but rather they would drag the gas hose over other boats to get to the boat that needed gas. Meanwhile the boat needing gas had to hold on to other docked boats to keep it steady while filling up. Hopefully this will not be a practice they continue as it seemed a bit dangerous and annoying for the owners of the docked boats. Their RV campground seemed full and nice, although it will be even nicer once the newer trees grow enough to actually provide some shade. Welcome back Cottonwood Marina!! The gluten-free crust is only in the small size, and with the abundant toppings, half a pizza is just fine for one person. That's especially good since gluten-free is more expensive. I had to go to the bar to try to get myself a refill and order a drink for the sixth person after waiting 15 minutes. When I questioned about our server, I was told she was sick and they were short staffed. There were a couple people in our group are immune compromised and she could get one of them very sick. The tvs were on and showing both volleyball and football. The volume was a little loud and made it hard to hear each other. Also, where the heck are the managers?? Tonight was all teenager/high school looking servers.

In addition, I have went there for breakfast at least 6 times and this is what my feedback is about. The staff taking breakfast orders at the deli counter is terrible. EACH AND EVERY TIME I have been there, the person taking the order is ambivalent, morose, unsmiling, impatient, short, or a combination of some or all. Now, this is the CUSTOMER FACING part of your store and yet, these people are sending out the signal that our breakfast business is unimportant and that our visit, TO YOUR STORE, is an imposition. Today, as an example, the woman was serving an older gentleman in front of me who was obviously having trouble hearing with the plexiglas shield and the fact that he was over 80. She was annoyed and it was clearly showing on her face and in her tone when telling the man to push certain buttons on the pin pad. He was getting flustered and she had no patience whatsoever. Just this side note, the MAJORITY of your customers each weekday morning are over 60. Try treating them like human beings and realize that some have hearing loss or move slower than others. Now, the price for the food is very reasonable but can someone clean the grill? when eggs come out with black charred remnants of past 'cooks' something is wrong with your clean up routine. In addition, hash browns shouldn't come out white. Cook the damn things so they brown up at least a little instead of trying to rush the order out. I just don't understand why the store doesn't put personable people out front and someone who cares about their job. I get that you won't get rich working there but if you don't want to work, then leave and find something else.
