I love the unwich and I've ordered them often, but the one I got today was the worst one I've ever seen (see picture)! It's supposed to be a lettuce wrap, so I expected lettuce wrapped around it! Well, let's just say you know a place is good if I've been there multiple times and there's no pic to show for it. Means I've already hungrily stuffed my face before I had a chance to take pics! The staff greeted me as soon as I entered and Kimberly (I think), the store manager, was really friendly and helpful! She assisted me with placing a catering order to be delivered to a local business. She made sure that the order was exactly how I wanted it and offered to keep all the sauces and other condiments on the side so the sammies wouldn't get soggy. Kimberly also said she'd make sure the Thank You card I handed to her would be delivered with the order tomorrow. There were about 5 employees working and 1 or 2 customers trickling while I was there. The staff were making sammies nonstop though so I assume they've been getting wayyyy more delivery orders than usual due to covid. Most of the dining area was partitioned off but there were 3 tables near the front that were left open. My pickup order was ready at my scheduled pickup time and it was delicious so I'm a happy camper. Thanks for everything that you do, JJ's! read more

I know we are supposed to be grateful for the employees that do show up in this time of employee shortage, also be patient and understanding of staff turnover or new staff training... All that being said I thought Jimmy John's slogan is freaky fast and there was quite a back up with people waiting for sandwiches although it was not busy and there were three employees working on sandwiches. It definitely felt different from other Jimmy Johns as far as the wait time. I ordered a slim five and unfortunately I did not notice it was a #5 Vito charged & made, so it was almost inedible to the picky child eater who it was for. Honestly I'm disappointed by all Jimmy John's in general for not having toasted sandwiches. I'm sorry, but that just is a huge sadness to my tastebuds. The staff here is....interesting to say the least. Delivery from here is awful so if I want a sandwich I always order in store. I usually just get the day old bread and make my own sandwich at home but on occasion I'll get the Italian sandwich they have. I always have to tell them to chill on the lettuce because they always put more than even a rabbit would want on my sandwich. You tell me if it's just me or is there something wrong with my thought process when I go to Jimmy John's you need seven trips or seven sandwiches to get something that it says you have earned a reward so I went five×1 time I got one sandwich the next time I got two sandwiches One for me one for a friend the next time I got two sandwiches one for me one for a friend the next time I went I expected a reward, but there was no reward in my app on my phone said that I needed five more purchases. I guess it is purchases. I need five more to get a reward, how is that possible that would make eight trips there I spent $50 but not a free bag of chips. That's what I call greed or the system is so messed up that nobody realizes it you try talk to the assistant manager. You can't talk to the manager, although I tried. I think it is great that my picture was posted up at the top. I moved to a small town from a big town that had Jimmy John's everywhere and when I move to the small town they don't have anything anywhere. I was up in Michigan visiting family and I figured on my way back I would stop and get a sandwich for the next day. I had a cooler to put it in and it was the best thing ever. I walked in everybody greeted me and they were so nice. It smelled so good in there it was like I wish I could have eat it right then. But I drove back two and a half hours and I want to say I think I took a few bites after I took the picture but it was very tasty and I had absolutely no complaints. Myself and my colleagues frequent this establishment and unfortunately the past few occasions have been extremely disappointing. I have never waited an hour for a delivery order than is less than 5 minutes away, and on top of this a portion of our order was forgotten at the store so the driver has to go back and return once again-hopefully not another hour later. Come here with a friend once in a while. He comes here frequently and usually his order already being made by the time we walk through the door( what can I say- it helps to have a car that stands out and an order that never changes). They are happy to customize your sub, like putting in all extra veggies and leaving the bread in. Be sure to get a punch card-it gives you a free sub after ten visits. read more

From the moment I called, I regretted it. The woman who took my order was barely engaged. There was no smile in her voice. I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know the meaning of the words, "customer service". They took my money and then they delivered my food. Food is consistent and excellent like any JJs, this review is because of 1 specific employee accosting every customer that comes in even if they're wearing a mask or not wearing a mask and it's on a petty cms and ins type of thing. "Excuse me sir (as I wear my mask correctly) can you pull your mask up a little higher?" He will comment on if you're wearing your mask correctly while his mask is slid off his nose. He isn't badgering people for safety purposes it's to boss people around and treat customers poorly and rudely. If it was about safety his mask wouldn't slip one time but it's casually half on half off but not a single customer walks through the door without being accosted. It's worth driving over to St Joe to avoid this nonsense. read more

I'm giving two stars because of the fact corporate was kind to me. I ordered food for delivery two minutes into my lunch break. I work about two minutes from this Jimmy Johns. My food didn't arrive until well after my lunch break had ended. A good 40 minutes later. I asked my delivery guy if he got lost, not amused because it was so late. He mumbled something about lunch rush, but I made this order around 1. I have made orders at this time before and it was never that late. I also so the delivery guy later that week walking at a snail's pace. He doesn't fit freaky fast. Anyway I contacted the company and they followed up after apologizing to me. They asked if anyone from this store reached out to me. This was maybe four days later. Not a thing came. Maybe two weeks later I got a gift card but nothing from the Jimmy John's store that left me hungry. I couldn't eat anything until my last break another two hours later. Absolutely the best customer service for this store! These guys over here and gals, do a wonderful if not beyond fantastic job getting people during lunch hour in and out. My favorite guy over there is named JT---he actually gave me a lift so I didn't have to walk my sandwich through the snow. Almost shocked me when he said, 'oh I got you' and drove me to work in the Fairplain Plaza nearby. Such a sweetheart and an even better worker. Ordered for delivery and they missed an item and now that I look at other review's it is clear that this location does not process orders to perfection and as a paying customer noticing their error with-in 24hrs this location does not care about making it right regardless. The manager could have said if you place a new order we can make it right and instead was ok with my statement of never ordering from this location again and putting a review on yelp. This location needs to really improve on getting the order correct and ensuring that measures are put in place to service the customer correctly as well. This Jimmy johns is so much better than St. Joe's. The employees that work at st.joe are extremely rude and so is the manager. However, whenever I go to the Benton harbor store, they are very nice and get my food in a timely fashion.
