Pot roast with side of green beens
Angela N.

It was very busy today at 2 in the afternoon so there was a 15 min wait. We came to eat with my daughter and we planned to do a late breakfast but they had new menus and lots of new options. She decided on the chocolate chip pancakes and I had the pot roast. The moot roast was very well season and filled with meat that just fell apart. It was a great choice and I would get it again. Her pancakes were just as good as they always are. Juwanna was our waitress and was very pleasant and made sure to keep checking on us to see if we needed anything. I also took two of the $5 meals of meatloaf with a side of Mac n cheese to go for our lunches tomorrow.

My supposed vegan sides with ham in them...not a welcome discovery.

This is the second time I've ever been to Cracker Barrel. The first time was years ago and I didn't see the need to come back, until a friend invited me to a meeting over brunch. After this particular visit, I remembered why I did not return after those years...there's absolutely nothing for vegans! (Okay maybe the fruit, but I'm not paying $4 for a very small bowl of fruit when I can buy more fruit for $4 at the grocery store...overpriced and small quantity.) I even tried ordering a special where you can pick a number of sides that I thought would be vegan, but no....The turnip greens had ham in them, the beans had ham in them. All I could manage to eat was the mashed potatoes and probably the deep fried brussel sprouts, I think it was. I was horrified that I was accidentally eating ham. Note to the owners, if your menu does not specify that supposed vegan options have ham in them, you need to make that known! I only found out after the fact...that is when I tasted something foreign and strange and to my disgust it was ham! My meal was ruined and I was traumatized.

This is gunna seem so funny, but 5 stars for the biscuit beignets!!!!!!! I'm always searching for good beignets and these were phenomenal, highly recommend.

I generally avoid chain restaurants, but had only a couple options for Doordash over a holiday weekend. I've got to say- Cracker Barrel really hit the spot. The cole slaw was actually the yummiest we've had anywhere around St Joe. Egg sandwich was delicious, and husband was thrilled with chicken n dumplins. All yummy!

Turkey, dressing and sweet potato casserole with biscuits

I was so excited to eat at a Cracker Barrel since it's been years. Today's special was the Turkey and dressing with sweet potato casserole. Sounded so good and I was so excited. When the server came over you could tell that she wasn't interested in being here or in me. She rattled off her speech asked what I wanted to drink and I gave her my order. With in a few minutes she plopped this down in front of me and it was like eating a salt lick TV dinner. I asked for cranberry sauce after eating for her to come around @10 minutes. She said sure and walked away abut 5 minutes later she came back and said they ran out of cranberry sauce. Just before I was finish she returned with cranberry sauce and said her manager found some????? The turkey was dry and hard, the dressing was gritty and the sweet potato casserole had soggy nuts in it and I got a special gift a twig in my casserole. Everyone seemed busy but I wouldn't recommend eating here. I spoke to the manager and he just at the same meal and felt the same way. There was no charge. I'm thankful!

Staff is clearly working hard to give customers a really good experience! Also fried chicken stole the show for me. I will be back soon.

We were looking for someplace to eat for lunch and we found this place nearby our hotel…read more We saw a line waiting outside, so it must be good so we parked in their private parking lot. When you walk in, it had a nice vibe to it. There is a huge barrel of peanuts that you can scoop to eat at your table. We were greeted right away, and we were walked to our booth. The place was pretty big. They had plenty of room for seating, especially for big parties. There was a couple of big parties that came before us and it didn't feel crowded. The place was clean. They have flatscreen TVs around muted and you can hear the country music in the background. Our waiter was very friendly and took his time when we were ordering. Hubby ordered a cocktail drink and he said it was good and I ordered unsweetened tea. The drinks came in mason jars, which was a nice spin to the standard glass cup. At the table, they gave us two fresh hot rolls that were light and fluffy sweet and buttered. It was so good that we asked for seconds. Hubby ordered the half slab barbecue ribs and loaded, baked potato and a side salad with 1000 island. The barbecue ribs was nice fall off the bone. It had dry rubbed smoked, and the rib sauce was on the side. Hubby liked it. He would get it again, and he also enjoyed his loaded, baked potato with all the fixings. I ordered the 1 pound bone in ribeye steak with baked potato with butter and sour cream, medium rare and side salad with thousand island dressing. I got the salad and I was asked if I wanted croutons and cheese and I said yes it was OK. I felt like the lettuce should've been more fresh and crispy. It was kinda wilted, but I still ate it anyway. And they doused the salad with my thousand island dressing. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side. My steak was indeed medium rare just the way I like it. I was also given A1 steak sauce, which is my favorite stay condiment. Our weight staff checked us a couple of times to make sure everything was OK. Is definitely a popular place because after we left the place got filled up pretty quickly. Overall, I come back here again when I'm around the area for the steak and ribs, the hospitality and those hot rolls!

That said, we were pleasantly surprised! We started with the bloomin' onion--perfectly crispy and flavorful. Then we split a New York strip with sides, and everything was cooked just right. The portions were huge, and the flavor was spot-on. I had a tropical margarita that was delicious, and my husband was happy to see Bell's on tap. Service was great--friendly and attentive. The only downside was the cleanliness. It was after the dinner rush, but there was quite a bit of food and trash on the floor, and our table could've used a wipe. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely noticeable. Overall, a solid, satisfying meal with great drinks--just hope the dining area gets a little more attention next time.

I have not yet had the pleasure of trying anything off of Fatbird's normal menu. I'll try to keep this review quick since it is pretty specific but long story short, we loved the unique and well made food and the service and vibes were great! So while Fatbird is known for their chicken sandwiches, my bf and I ordered the $40 lunch for two from this special 2026 menu, which was heavily indigenous Latin American-inspired in the ingredients. For the starter, we shared 8 sweet plantains slices which were yummy but we wish we had more. Then for our main, we split one grilled jerk chicken sandwich with VERY unique ingredients like a pickled green tomato as well as two creative tacos with tender shredded pork and more pickled veg. The tacos were spicy as heck and definitely not for the faint of heart! Lastly, we split a small bowl of arrow con leche brule, which helped bring the heat down from the tacos. While we didn't leave full, we had fun trying a curated and very unique set of dishes with interesting flavors, textures, and spices. The other 4 people we ate lunch with ordered a variety of stuff from the normal menu, some of which are in my attached pictures. My bf also ordered himself a pineapple tepache to sip on, which was $8, and I got myself a diet coke with lemon ($3). Our waitress was on top of her game and was very friendly. The interior is cute and spacious and the bathroom is cute and clean. I love a clean bathroom! Their normal menu has 8000 things I want to try next time! As for this special menu lunch, we paid, after tax, tip, and a credit card surcharge, a total of $67. A bit high for lunch, but good vibes all around!

Can't go wrong with any, whether traditional or slightly experimental, they're all good. Great service, great bar, a great night out.

I will say that going into this I know it would be a hard sale as my grandmother is from that region, and I grew up eating gumbo, Poboy and red beans and rice. I also travel to New Orleans every few years so I am keen on the flavor profiles. On this occasion, we got the bourbon beef Poboy and a side of the Royal gumbo, which does not have crawfish in it. Overall, the experience was modest at best. I did eat my po boy which had a very good bread and also the bourbon beef itself was OK. I did not enjoy the gumbo at all. The flavors did not feel right to me, but maybe somebody else would enjoy this. I would give this restaurant a 3.5 out of five stars, I will say that the options were very affordable and the restaurant was clean. I also like the fact that they had choices of hot sauce and in the eclectic side options, such as chips from that region, and then also soda with sugarcane in it.

The online ordering option is nice but it does auto-set to an 18% tip, so be aware of that. You can change it though. Average - Rib tips were ok but I have had better at the Larks Girls bbq truck. Too much fat and not enough meat, and not enough sauce. The white bread was under all of the meat and sauce, so that is unusual. It is usually on the side or on top at places. Dressing and mac are just ok. I like the sauce in the smothered pork chops but I prefer a different quality of meat. The cornbread is flat, like johnny cakes. They were ok but one was burnt. They were out of mashed potatoes both times and they gave me white rice instead on a delivery order instead of calling me. They were also out of banana pudding the 2nd time and Uber Eats did call me to ask about taking peach cobbler instead. It was mostly just sweetened dough and syrup, not much peach. Would not get again. Both orders were placed in the afternoon, so if you are running out of stuff that early, maybe online ordering is not the best option for you.
